I've been in the hunt for an eye brow place to be open and came upon this place. First impressions were that the place BEAUTIFULLY DESIGNED. Had a conversation with Nia & she explained how the owner has an eye for design & was she right. The place had such great energy & Nia was just amazing. I explained my terror with having to grow my eyebrows out after I had a barber leave me with thin eyebrows & here we are. After months & months of letting them grow out I am finally back! Nia took the time to draw out the shape & ask me if I liked it. She actually took the time to see the differences in them & try to make it work. The end result was AMAZING! This seriously boosted up my confidence & on top of that I was able to bond with such a beautiful person. Got my brows waxed by Syreeta, and was very happy with the results and process (the consultation to be exact). We discussed what I was seeking, then she drew on a shape to ensure we were on the same page, then finally she waxed/ clipped/ and plucked to achieve the look. A couple of things I also appreciated were: the conversation, and her honesty that what I wanted may not be 100% achievable given what I was starting with. Syreeta is the best threader in the Twin Cities, period. After going to mall shops I realized I wasnt getting the best service, with most techs not listening to my needs. As an over 40 lady, once some of those brow hairs are gone, they're gone. I needed Syreeta to clean up my brows but also wanted to give her the long term plan for my eye area, which included trying to thicken my brow over time. Literally have been searching for my new brow studio since I've moved to the Twin cities at the beginning of the summer. Syreeta did my brows and spent quality time making sure I got exactly what I wanted. Most brow threading studios I've been to gets me in and out in less than 5 minutes and honestly, I think they do a sloppy job when it's rushed like that. I will not let anyone else on god's green earth touch my eyebrows other than Syreeta. I have been seeing her for years at various locations and her current studio on Selby Ave is the best spot yet. The atmosphere is calming and the decor is tasteful with lots of plants. The company recently added Nia and although I have yet to see her myself, everyone walks out looking and feeling great. Not only will you receive superior service, but when you spend your money at Omari, you are supporting a black-owned, woman-owned business and not some large salon franchise. I just started going to Syreeta for eyebrow threading after a few years of getting my eyebrows threading at various malls throughout the metro area. I like a more natural look, and I've been to other brow places where the estheticians pretty much ignore me and make my brows look pencil-thin like theirs. Not Syreeta! I went to Omari Brow studio after reading all the great reviews it had. I was not disappointed! Syreeta really knows what she is doing and did a amazing job on my eyebrows. She pays close attention and gets every little hair the way it needs to be. She also noticed I had a small dry patch under my eyebrow and asked what it was to make sure she could use wax on that area. I told her it was psoriasis and she opted to thread the area so she wouldn't cause any reaction. She is kind and caring. I was a little nervous at first and she made me feel comfortable and was very easy to talk to! I'm so glad I found her and will continue to go to Syreeta. I have very complicated brows and have had horrible luck finding someone who can tame them and also create the look that I want. Well, Syreeta did both and did them perfectly.
