We did a video call so they can give an estimate, we never received an estimate. The movers came to pack move and unpack. They didn't know they were supposed to be packing/unpacking. I had to call and confirm instead of them. They left my front door wide open and never turned the gate back on so if I hadn't gone back for cleaning supplies my door would've been left open over night. When I told the only guy who spoke English he said "I wasn't the last one out" no apologies just a lazy answer. They never unpacked properly. I started unpacking the kitchen, so they had an idea of where things went. They didn't try, they just unpacked random stuff and threw it in places. Appliances were disassembled which could have easily been put together. My cake stand was in two thrown on the counter top with a box over the glass in an unsafe manner. They said they were scheduled to come back tomorrow and when I called to complain about how the place left they said the job was done and I should've said something before they left. I told them they should leave instead of waiting for me to return after picking up my daughter they told me had to pay. Which understood I'll pay for the day, but the packing job was not done. These are scammers. It's been a long time since I dealt with a business like this but this one beware.

I used All My Sons Moving when I moved from Houston to Pearland. I was also told they had wardrobe boxes so my clothes could stay on their hangers. To save money I packed everything else myself and only wanted them for the larger furniture. It was almost an all day move because they were so slow. I was shocked to be told I owed about $400 more than my original quote. I was informed that wrapping my dressers counted as extra materials and that the wardrobe boxes were additional charges. None of those extra costs were clearly explained when those services were recommended. my mom questioned the charges, and they eventually waived those fees. Even using their truck to move across town, I ended up paying around $1,100, which I felt was fair once the unexpected charges were removed. I called them today for another move coming up and left a bad taste in my mouth. I won't be using this company ever again. I called for a quote to move literally two doors down within my apartment complex. I didn't even need a moving truck, yet I was quoted over $800. During the call, the representative repeatedly placed me on hold to "speak with a manager," only to return saying it was already a great deal. When I pointed out that my previous move across town cost nearly the same amount, I was told they had "squeezed me in" before and that summer pricing was higher. This didn't make sense given the size and distance of this move. I contacted another moving company and received a quote of $300 for the exact same job. Between the ridiculous charges during my first move and the dramatically inflated quote for this one, I can't recommend All My Sons. I understand moving costs vary, but transparency and fair pricing are important, and I ultimately found much better value elsewhere.

During my recent move, I decided to give them my repeat business. Huge mistake. You get what you pay for. They quoted $110 per hour plus $70 admin fee, minimum 2 hours. That was fine. However, when they showed up, they advised that they charge $15 per roll for shrink wrap. I was in agreement with using the shrink wrap and blankets but they advised they were not sure how many rolls they would use. Then it was changed to 3 rolls. I've used movers in the past and they have always included shrink wrap and blankets in their pricing. However, I've also seen how the shrink wrap is used and 3 rolls is grossly overestimated. I've included a picture of the shrink wrap roll for reference. After signing for them to start the job, a never ending agreement about the number of shrink wrap rolls they would use, and the clock already ticking, I agreed for them to move forward with the additional $45 scam. Instead, they went outside, spoke amongst themselves and someone on the phone and advised that they would not be completing the job and left. I called the primary phone number and spoke with the owner who advised me that I should have accepted the scam pricing from the beginning and then disconnected the phone call. Cancelling a job because you don't want to be called out for overcharging for shrink wrap that should be included in your job is ridiculous. Moving is stressful. To walk out on someone during a time like that is not someone that deserves your business. The bright side is that I had another moving company's card on my door. I contacted them and they were available in the late afternoon. They ended up coming a few hours earlier. The price included the shrink wrap and blankets. They completed a HUGE job in 2.5 hours. I paid more per hour and tipped the 3 movers well. The fact that Astros Moving Company attempted to ruin my day over $45 is ridiculous. They would have made much more than that in tips and repeat business. Edit as of 05/09/25. In response to the owner. I NEVER advised them that I did not have the money to pay the ridiculous $45 for three rolls that were clearly not going to be used. After agreeing to disagree, I actually advised them to move forward. They chose to walk away instead. Not only did I pay more than the $45 with the other moving company, I tipped them generously. In business, some things are about the principle, not the money.
