I used All My Sons Moving when I moved from Houston to Pearland. During the estimate, I was told I could leave my belongings inside my dressers because they would wrap the furniture and move it without me having to empty everything. I was also told they had wardrobe boxes so my clothes could stay on their hangers. To save money I packed everything else myself and only wanted them for the larger furniture. It was almost an all day move because they were so slow. I was shocked to be told I owed about $400 more than my original quote. I was informed that wrapping my dressers counted as extra materials and that the wardrobe boxes were additional charges. None of those extra costs were clearly explained when those services were recommended. my mom questioned the charges, and they eventually waived those fees. Even using their truck to move across town, I ended up paying around $1,100, which I felt was fair once the unexpected charges were removed. I called them today for another move coming up and left a bad taste in my mouth. I won't be using this company ever again. I called for a quote to move literally two doors down within my apartment complex. I didn't even need a moving truck, yet I was quoted over $800. During the call, the representative repeatedly placed me on hold to "speak with a manager," only to return saying it was already a great deal. When I pointed out that my previous move across town cost nearly the same amount, I was told they had "squeezed me in" before and that summer pricing was higher. I am not someone who ever leaves reviews or complains about services, but my experience was disappointing enough that I feel it should be shared. First, I was charged for packing supplies after being told they would be provided at no additional cost. I contacted the company about this issue and was told by two different people that I would be refunded, but I have still not received that refund. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The movers arrived at approximately 3:00 PM without notifying my boyfriend ahead of time as I was originally told they would.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Shortly after arriving, within about 20 minutes, one of the movers clogged my toilet. During the move, the movers used packing supplies that I had personally purchased instead of using their own supplies that were supposed to be provided at no cost. These supplies were intended for items they were unable to move, including pantry items and chemicals. As a result, using my supplies left me without proper materials to pack those items myself. At one point, the movers told my boyfriend that if we wanted the move to go faster, he needed to help. He then assisted throughout much of the move. When I arrived, I observed that one of the movers was taking breaks in the vehicle while the other mover and my boyfriend continued working. There were also several unprofessional comments made during the move. One mover compared my apartment to a previous job, stating they had moved a mansion with wooden furniture before, but that my move was more difficult and really required a third person. I found this comment inappropriate, especially given that my boyfriend was already actively assisting and effectively serving as a third person on the job. Additionally, upon arrival at the new apartment, a comment was made along the lines of it being "so much nicer than your other place," which I also found inappropriate. My belongings were also handled carelessly. Items were thrown into boxes, wet bathroom items were placed in the same boxes as jewelry, and artwork was bent or torn. One of the movers also dropped my toaster oven, leaving it with a visible dent. Finally, I paid a $100 deposit at booking and was told it would be applied toward the total cost. However, I was charged an additional $900 at the end of the move, bringing my total cost to $1,000. At the end of the move, the movers thanked my boyfriend for all of the work he had done and specifically commented on how helpful and great he was. This further highlighted how much of the labor he ended up contributing throughout the move. That should tell you just how miserable this experience has been. On August 23rd, 2025, I hired All My Sons (Houston). What followed was the single worst consumer experience I've ever had: Showed up almost 2 hours late in a Ryder rental truck -- not the branded truck I was promised. No Bill of Lading was ever given (a legal requirement). At 4:06 PM, they forced me to pay $1,107.70 mid-move before the job was finished. Movers disappeared for 90 minutes. Crew was still there after 12:15 AM. By then, I was so fed up I told them to just put the bed together and leave -- which meant the couch and dining table were left disassembled. The move was never even completed. Missing items (theft): $1,200 wine rack, $700 Vizio TV, and two legs from a $1,500 dining table (making it unusable). Destroyed property: credenza broken beyond repair, 85" TV damaged, china/glassware smashed, walls scuffed, door handle broken. Boxes marked "FRAGILE" were stacked on the bottom, crushed under heavier boxes, some upside down. One mover even used our toilet in the new apartment and didn't flush. At my previous location, they came packed everything up relatively decent and loaded the truck. However, I am not sure if it was just poor packing or what but they ran out of space on the truck and left about 40% of my home behind and we had to pay them to come out for a second trip at and additional cost of $216 an hour. Upon arrival to my new location, they started to unload the truck and began bringing things into my two-story home when two of them dropped a large dresser and scratched up my sheet rock leaving dent and holes in the actual sheet rock itself. If you think it doesn't get worse, you would be wrong. I run a small embroidery business and I own two machines. I own a Melco bravo 16 needle and a Brother 6 needle. Well, while bringing my Melco upstairs they dropped that as well and BROKE my embroidery machine that cost me $12k. After we took pictures of everything and filed a claim they offered us a pay out of $360.. Keep in mind I have proof that my machine that I had for only two years was in great working condition and I also provided proof that we gad NO damage to the wall at my home. Please learn from my mistake and NEVER hire these people. They WILL damage your shit and not give a damm. I do plan on seeing what options i have with small claims court, because when they dropped my embroidery machine they damaged the computer and it will no longer turn on. Never trust these guys. They price gouge you and management nor corporate are any help. Paid them $700 to pack a POD, they left the POD half packed, manager said he was sending someone else out to fix it, never came and you can't get anyone on the phone to save your life. I have a ring doorbell that lets people know it is recording them as I have had a break-in in the past. one of the movers, with his company shirt on, decided to curse at my camera and called me all kinds of names as if I was actively hitting the button and watching them. It is set to record anny movement and the message is a friendly reminder. His language is deplorable, but also I have video of him watching videos of some woman on his phone, talking about her in a degrading manner as well. If the owner would like to see the videos, you can certainly respond to this and I'll reach out to get the email so that you can view them for yourself. Please note-the other two gentlemen did not seem to want to engage in his behavior. My daughter hired this company to move her approx. 8 miles to her new house. In that short move the managed to break two large LED TVs. They refused to pay to repace either of them siting that they only pay by the pound for damages. One of the TV's was brand new and now she is stuck having to replace it. My fiance and I ended up having to help them which got them at least moving a little faster. 1 guy spent most of his time in the truck organizing and not helping. As soon as I would stop moving stuff, they'd be unseen for minutes again. I called and got a discount, but 1400 was still not low enough. They also charge for BASIC materials and tell you they "only charge you what they use. It's cheaper than you buying it yourself". I was very excited for my move. During my move: verbal harassment by "lead" mover who had an ego and a huge chip on his shoulder...farthest from what I would call a leader. I was told this crew was their best and lighting fast. This crew loved to waste time, they would just stand around at times texting or just stand there, I helped move items myself!!! They took many breaks, used my restroom, threw their loose water bottles and trash on top of my trash bags just loose, and were highly immature emotionally. It was like dealing with 3 little boys. The lead required 20 mins of therapy and I had to de-escalate to make him feel better. Yes, I was paying the hourly rate during this therapy session. Price gauging, the lead rounded up 15 mins when he got to my Home, we wasted 20 mins on a therapy session, and he rounded up again when he got to the other home. He tried to round up again when leaving but I contested as it made no sense and he said fine I'll credit you this 15 mins. I was overcharged 50 mins. They also purposely used too many supplies (which they had no account for) and didn't even disclose most of what they were using. I ended up paying close to $200 in supplies when initially I had agreed to $50. They damaging my brand new home walls and ceiling, without any ounce of remorse or even a sorry, I was told to just take pictures and contact another department. After my move: avoidance and neglect by leadership team of "operational management" from the assistant John to the GM Brett. Movers showed up in a U-Haul I could have rented myself, they were probably contracted. The movers also were somewhat unprofessional and left their personal trash throughout both locations and made derogatory remarks about the company that they work for. all my sons moving in storage moved my mother-in-law to the Houston area from Fredericksburg, Texas yesterday. They did a great job. The two movers were Devin and Larry & they were very professional. Whatever you do do not use them. There are cheaper moving companies. They will rip yo behind off. TRIED to charge me $569 in the end for a 1 bdrm apt & all they did was move boxes & a sofa. They also added extra stuff on the truck that I didnt even ask for. The managerS will also lie to you & say there is no travel fee but its $149 just for them to come to your house LOL. Make sure yall record their conversations if u still decide to get scammed & use their services. I had to talk him down on the price!! I do not recommend. Save yourself the headache. read more

Somehow my sofa cushions did not make the move. They were custom made with a fabric I purchased in Guatemala. The company has been most uncooperative in helping me locate them. They lied saying they were to be donated. The items that were to be donated were left in the garage. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I did offer some of the items for donations to the 4 men who moved me. I should have read the reviews before I hired them. I had the same poor experience as the other people here. I hired All My Sons Moving (Tampa) for a simple move--just a few items from one condo's storage unit to another across the street. I was quoted a 2-hour minimum plus 1-hour travel at $169/hour, with a 20% fuel surcharge and a $50 senior discount. Pretty straightforward. But they arrived unprepared (no equipment), delayed the start for paperwork, and later had more delays during unloading due to internet issues and more forms. They billed me for 2.5 hours of labor instead of 2, and the inflated time also increased the fuel surcharge. When I questioned it, a staff member quickly dismissed me and falsely claimed "it only took five minutes." It absolutely did not. This kind of padded billing and dismissive response is unacceptable. I've informed both condo associations not to recommend them, and as a licensed realtor, I won't refer them to clients either. Polite movers, but the business side left a bad impression. read more

The absolute most unprofessional move. Most all my beautiful furniture is damaged to the point of needing professional repair. A one bedroom which I had already packed took from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm and I had to hire another company to step in to move out the giveaway to another location. The " wardrobe boxes " did not have hangars and all my clothes were wrinkled. The most unprofessional of all was they threw my expensive very heavy Kitchenaid mixer into one of the wardrobe boxes and ruined my clothes and broke the handle of the mixer! Run from this company!
