Months later my family took me to South Coast Plaza. Apparently they had been working with Hiroo and the staff at The Omega Boutique, as I walked into a complete surprise and very special experience. They presented the beautiful watch to me, and made it both fun and memorable. I since recommended a long time high school friend to the Boutique, and he selected and purchased his very own first luxury timepiece, a special Seamaster automatic movement, and also enjoyed working with the fine staff. So impressed with their knowledge and experiences, along with their enthusiasm and training, it makes this a fine place for the knowledgeable enthusiast. I was greeted by Lee T. who was great to chat with and he definitely knew his horology and more specifically, all the nuances of the myriad of Speedmaster models. I was only there to "look around" but ended up trying on a bunch of watches. Lee was happy to show me several models and try them all on. She was kind enough to place the items on hold and as I came in the next day, she greeted me with such hospitality. She made sure I was always comfortable and offered me refreshments several times. She even offered to clean the watch I was wearing! I would ask her questions and she would not only answer them in great detail, but she would take the time to show me exactly what she was trying explain to me. Was looking for my first luxury watch and after I saw pictures of the Omega Speedmaster Alaska Project online, I knew that was the one for me. However the watch is rare and I couldn't find one online; new or used. My buddy called this location and spoke to Edward and 2 days later Edward found the last remaining Alaska Project in the entire United States at the Omega Boutique in St. Louis. Edward had the watch shipped to South Coast overnight and I went to check it out the following day. It was even more beautiful in person and I just had to get it. Edward was off that day, but the other staff at Omega were fantastic and made the experience very memorable with champagne and all. The watch set was missing one of the 3 straps, but Edward was able to get me a gator strap instead which was very fair. Edward is also getting a new certificate of authenticity from Omega since the one I received was a slightly worn. All in all, this was an amazing experience and the customer service from the Omega sales team and specifically Edward was top notch. Very happy Edward was able to locate this watch for me and brand new nonetheless! read more

My boyfriend bought the moon watch yesterday & found a scratch on it from who knows what today. We walked in & were met by a Jonathan and asked if they could buff it out or fix it and he said the tech was out until the end of the month on vacation. While he did refer is to a jeweler/watch service downstairs, he also proposed by a solution on amazon called polywatch. Prior to that, he said the scratch "added character" as if to diminish any need for help. Really!? Does anyone drop thousands of dollars on anything to be told it needs character with a scratch ? We were offered drinks and seats, and were shown several time pieces. We ended up picking one out and was pleasantly surprised by the manager with something extra for our anniversary. Will definitely return to this location as well. It should be noted that after our visit here, we stepped into another watch boutique (rhymes with Eye Dubya See) directly across from this store. Stopped in today to ask about getting a replacement screw for a Speedmaster bracelet to replace one I dropped and lost while removing a link. I didn't know what to expect (would they only install screws, not provide them? would they need to order? would there be some insane price for a replacement screw?), but I walked in, explained what I was looking for and showed the bracelet, and the person I spoke to took out a plastic case, popped a few screws in a small plastic bag, and I was out the door in about 20 seconds. I could not be happier with the service here, especially for being taken care of so quickly for something as simple as a screw. read more

I was very happy with my purchase experience at this location and was never pressured to buy. The only 'pressure' was the watch itself as I tried it on my wrist and when I became enamored with it. The Boutique stores carry the Omega Lifetime publication and the South Coast Plaza location is no exception. If you ask for one, they will kindly bag one up for you to take and read at your leisure. I've been looking for an Omega for years, but I could not decide which one I wanted. Finally, I came across the new Speedmaster Racing and knew right then this is the one. I went to the boutique to check it out, and it was even better in person. However, what was even better than the watch was the experience I had buying it. Alexandra was absolutely fantastic. After having a real bad purchasing experience at another high end watch store two doors down for my wife, I was very worried about getting another bad sales person. But no, Alexandra was just absolutely incredible. She knew which watch I was talking about (I forgot the name at the time), got it for me, explained all the details to me, let me try it on, showed me all the different colors and band styles, offered refreshments, and at no point pressured me to buy. Hiro, the manager at the store, was also wonderful. He helped make the purchase process as smooth as possible and kept resizing my watch until I was satisfied with the fit. While waiting to process paperwork and package everything, Alexandra was pleasant to talk to so I wasn't just sitting around waiting doing nothing. I can't say enough good things about her and how great this experience was. The Omega Boutique store is outstanding.
