I was so excited about some home renovations I had been saving up for. The original company, I won't mention any names at this time for legal purposes, but they were all over Facebook & they seemed to be competent, but from the quality I received, they were only skilled in marketing/sales!! Huge mess and disappointment! We ended up in a legal dispute. Luckily I was referred by an attorney to contact Omega for inspecting my home and the construction issues that I felt were warranted for withholding final payment. The report I received was wonderful, very precise, and there were numerous references to building code violations. Using the report from Omega, I was able to firmly substantiate the defective work and my feelings of being mistreated as a consumer. The corrections were mostly addressed and the legal matter was dropped through a settlement. It was an educational experience I would not wish on anyone but I am so grateful for the referral to contact Omega. My only hiccup with Omega would be there was spotty communication at times. With what I was already going through, it made me on edge when I would call and not get a call back promptly. I realize that contractors are busy but it did make me wonder if perhaps they were too busy. Other than that, they were exceptionally knowledgeable, professional, and really went to bat for me. After consulting with several contractors, I hired Omega Construction for a kitchen and bath design/remodel because of the owner's attention to detail during our initial consultation and his ability to articulate and illustrate my vision of my home in our follow up meetings. Some of the things very important to me were that the job site be clean. All debris and trash were properly disposed of every day. The Omega crew went out of their way to ensure that the surrounding (non-work) areas were properly covered and protected as well as the work area. Not once did I have a dusty mess in my home. Something else important to me was that I needed to be able to be in contact with the Omega team so I knew how progress was coming and what to expect next. Bret and Logan were on site frequently to keep us up to date and make sure the entire project ran smoothly and efficiently. They installed outdoor cameras on the job to monitor site activity which we thought was great. We ran over the timeline a bit, the quality in the work and their professionalism exceeded our expectations. All of the workers and staff were all very respectful, courteous and focused on their tasks. My kitchen and master bathroom came out even better than I imagined. It was a pleasure working with them especially in the design phases.
