A nice and peaceful experience. Even if you are by yourself there are still many things to do in the virtual reality world.

Highly, HIGHLY recommend this place!!…read more I kept seeing videos of this place on Tiktok and it got me hooked! Their videos really lived up to it's hype. They have all sorts of games that challenged your agility, problem solving and speed. I really enjoyed the super grid, hide (gave squid game vibes), and hoops room the most. You can play competitively or co-op and they have I think 10 levels for each game. They also gave us a locker to put all our stuff in. It was $25 plus tax for 75 mins of gaming. It was very fun and tiring but I would definitely come back again. I can't wait til they open up their Toronto location!

I enjoyed that the experience is timed and let's you visit and play as many of the over 20 games as possible. I also enjoyed the automated process when you enter a game with your group. You scan your wrist band at the check in screen where the game is and you follow the prompts. Once your game is done you are instructed to leave the room, so the next group can play. However, there were times where people would take their time leaving and would ruin the start of our game. We spoke to the front desk and they apologized and knew that this is an issue they are working on a solution. Games includes laser mazes, target shooting, hoops, puzzle rooms and more! Highly recommend if you are looking for a team building activity or a night out with friends

So let's cut straight into the meat and potatoes guys. This was my first escape room. My girlfriend…read morehad done one before. We had an AMAZING TIME. When booking we decided to choose Billy's Nightmare (their hardest non-competitive room). We had no idea that the difficulty level was going to be that high. We actually cleared it (with clues) with a time of 59 minutes exactly. It was fun, challenging, immersive, and the dimmed lighting paired with the thunderstorms and occasional cries for help from Billy created this eerie atmosphere that definitely enhanced the experience. We knew that we only had an hour, but we explored and searched and never felt pressured or rushed. We even found puzzles that weren't essential to the escape, but were added to steal time and throw you off course. I loved that! It ads an element of prioritization to the game. At around the 15-minute mark our game master came in and helped us get back on the right track. I wasn't expecting that, but he told us that the biggest and most important thing is that he wanted us to see it through to the end. We loved that. That is consideration and customer service at its finest. I will gladly return to OMEGA, very soon. Thank you guys!

The rooms were laid out well. The system of getting clues is fairly straightforward. The clues and rooms were fun. It felt a bit rehearsed telling you the rules, which are important. I think it would be nice to have more of an engaging experience with the staff. I will continue to support them and bring more people through. Hoping I don't feel like a number next time but like I'm actually in an experience. Other experiences I have done in California the staff is very animated and engaging. You feel like they are part of it. It's a nice touch to feel that connection.

Have you been immersed in a free-roaming virtual reality experience? If not, you have to try this!…read moreAnd no, you won't get motion sickness or get bitten by real zombies. I'll start off by mentioning that we do have the Oculus at home, so me and my kids have used the headset and controls before. My kids are 6yo and 8yo and are under the recommended age of 10yr, but both fared well at this arena. The headset was a bit big, but Shawn (owner of this Burlington location) recommended that they bring a toque to help make it fit better. You do have to book a time slot for your experience and I hear that their weekends can fill up pretty quickly. We got to the complex at our scheduled time (it is housed within this plaza that offers swimming, dancing, coding classes) and after leaving our things in the locker, we were brought in a LED-lit room to begin our orientation. You do have to pay attention as the video also gives you instructions on the games that you'll be playing. Our first game was Engineerium. This game does not require use of the Controller. All you need to do is follow the path. The stepping stones are constantly moving and some parts make it look as if you're walking upside down! The headset is for you to communicate with your teammates and for the staff to guide you if you get stuck. I really enjoyed this quick 15m game. Our next 30m game was Singularity. You do need the Controller for this game and it is quick a big piece of equipment that you need to keep tight to your body the entire time. I found it tiring to be constantly eliminating robots and drones, but then again, I'm not a gamer. It was a fun experience for the entire family and my 6yo is already asking when we can go back. Shawn, the owner, was very helpful and answered questions that I had before going in via Instagram. The staff were friendly and helpful and the arena was very clean (no shoes allowed). I highly recommend this for a group outing, 10/10 must try!!
