Dr. Kashani and his team is so amazing, kind and wonderful! No one likes to visit the dentist office however Dr. Kashani will make you feel more comfortable and you definitely won't regret trusting him with your teeth and smile. His ways of working on your teeth are very gentle but assertive. He will check on you the whole time he is working on your teeth and will provide you all the information so you are not in the "dark" while he is working on your teeth. Also, Edie who handles the front desk is the sweetest person that is always smiling and makes you feel welcome. I even enjoy receiving calls from her because of her calm and happy voice. Omid is such an amazing dentist!!! I would highly reccomend him. My son got his tooth knocked put and cut in half. He came in on his off hours to help bond it back on. He was extremely patient and explained everything as he went along fixing the tooth. His knowledge, expertise and explanation made my son feel confident and comfortable. My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Kashani for over 5 years. He and his staff are super friendly and professional and I always feel completely relaxed, no matter what the procedure. Yesterday I had my first implant procedure, and even though I was in the chair for almost 2 hours, the time flew by, and I felt comfortable and in great hands. Yelp deleted my previous review since it detailed both my husband's and my experiences and apparently speaking on behalf of others is against the guidelines. Fair enough - I will go ahead and post my part of the review and my husband will post his in a separate review. I'm copying and pasting, so it seems like it happened today, but it was actually about a year ago. They checked our insurance and said there would be a co-pay of $25 for my husband and I each for the cleanings and x-rays we were there for. When we were done it came to $463!! I asked what the hell and she said their services - my insurance = $463. What happened to it'll cost us $25 each!? They also tried to upsell me invisaline which I had the forbearance to refuse (cleverly disguised with a "I recommend you go to a orthodontist for a full-mouth solution, but if you just want only the [cosmetically displeasing] front teeth done I can do that for you". These days, sad to say, I am too much of a cynic to fall for that. I was wondering how they got all the good Yelp reviews until I read one that said they gave out movie tickets for good reviews. I guess I won't be getting those tickets either. Do NOT go to this dentist. Edit: They did refund me some of the money, but only after the Yelp review. Feel free to draw your own conclusions from that. Edit: It seems the good doctor started a new Yelp page for himself so there are very few reviews, good or bad. (I'm guessing the bad outweighed the good on the old one.) read more

Dr Kashani is the most professional dentist with great bedside manners. From day 1, I felt so comfortable and welcome. He has the most gentle and caring hands. He showed me a tour of my mouth with his high tech intra oral camera as he discussed what was going on with each tooth. He answered every question I had. Dr Kashani is hands down the best dentist I have ever been to, plus he's goodlooking Also, the hygienist has always done such a thorough cleaning. She discussed proper oral hygiene. I don't even know where to start! Dr. Kashani and his entire staff are the absolute best! Not only are they kind but they are so personable and always bring a smile to my face. Like many I despise going to the dentist and I was even more hesitant to start somewhere new knowing I hadn't been keeping up with my dental hygiene. I ended up spending, collectively, 12 hours at this office in the span of 6 weeks; basically lived at the dentists but I loved every minute of it! From the get go, Ediee the office manager made me feel welcome and always makes me laugh. She works with you and your insurance ensuring you are taken care of. Eddie always works with you to find the best appointment time and ensures to remind you and communicate any changes. The office is always on time and I never had to wait. Both Jasmine and David have great bedside manner, are personable, caring and helpful; they answered all of my questions in regards to the treatment plan Dr. established and put me at ease when I needed my root canal and had any sort of anxiety. Dr. Kashani is the sweetest and genuinely wants the best for you. He went through each part of my treatment plan and showed me exactly where all my problem areas were. He was thorough and patient with me and always ensured I was comfortable and pain free. He removed my wisdom teeth, performed a root canal and several fillings - at no point was I in pain or scared. Dr. Kashani was gentle and had a great attention of detail during each procedure. He has a great relationship with his staff and has established a very professional and positive office environment. Today was my first time visiting Dr Kashiani , his lovely office staff and his hygienist. I was very impressed as to how professional this Dental office treats their Patients. I feel like Dr K. is extremely capable and knows his stuff. He is a USC Dental School Graduate and possesses a great deal of knowledge in the field of Dentisry. Dr K. diagnosed my problem right away and I know he is "right on spot" with his diagnosis. Dr K is honest and that felt so comforting to me. Both Dr K and the Hygienist cleaned my teeth , both being gentle and did an excellent job and my mouth feels well cleaned. He was my family's dentist when I lived in Monrovia. He always took his time, was very honest and took the fear out of going to the dentist because he was very careful and gentle. I then moved to Missouri, and unfortunately had to find a new dentist. I had an issue come about, and I turned to Dr. Kashani because of my wonderful experience with him and my trust in him. I traveled back to see him and I am so grateful I did. He literally saved me from having to do major surgery. He went above and beyond to do everything he could, he checked up on me personally to make sure I was recovering and was able to resolve my huge issue. I started seeing Dr. Kashani about two years ago and am very happy with the service and care that I receive. The staff is super friendly and reachable and I have a terrible work schedule but they try to work around my crazy schedule with me. I have had several dentists in the past and it is tricky to find someone that you trust. I am also pretty lucky that I have good insurance that covers most of my dental work, which unfortunately I have had a lot of. I also have a low pain tolerance and he makes sure I am pain free the entire way. I don't like going to the dentist but when I have to I am happy that I can go see dr. Dr Kashani is Such a nice, calm, and intelligent dentist. I read some of the negative reviews on here, I think people don't understand that he is in the Santa Monica office only twice a week, he also has an office in Monrovia. I really admire an honest dentist ! He does not try and tell you that you need other things when, you do not. That is a fine quality.! and, hard to find in a dentist in this town His cleanings make my mouth Soooo clean. his receptionist is Super nice and so is his dental assistant.. just THE BEST! I did NOT get paid for this review. I have written negative reviews, if the business is really really bad. One time I happened to be in the building and I went in and they faxed something for me, Very nice!....It is , SOOO important to have an honest dentist. My 30 year old son came her for a check up, too. He is one of the lucky ones who has never had a cavity. Dr Kashani didn't try to " pull one on him"and say that he did. I live locally in Santa Monica and came in last week for the $39 X-Ray and Exam. I was BLOWN away by Dr. Kashani and his staff, and highly encourage a visit. This office is his second location and he is extremely knowledgable and professional. During the exam Dr. Kashani found a couple cavities, two of which were really bad. As many of you may have experienced, they were old silver fillings that had gone bad. I went in two days later to get them taken care of, and was scared since I'm the patient that hates needles and the effects of anesthesia. Dr. Kashani shattered all those fears as he is an expert when it comes to preforming a painless and comfortable procedure. Before I knew it the numbness kicked in and the procedure was done shortly after that. I couldn't thank Dr. Kashani more, and I trust him through and though. When you first meet Dr. Kashani you will be amazed by his manners and personality, but even better than that - after a procedure or even a routine cleaning he will have earned your trust. I feel like I am in such good hands and am even excited to go back - words I thought I would never say about a dentist office. I look forward to his continued success. :) read more

Beware: do not buy the groupon deal! Where do I start... I bought a groupon deal cause why not I bought plenty of groupon before how bad could this be I spent $125 which included (exam, x-Ray, cleaning and Whitening). Call to make an appt which was quick and easy showed up on a Friday around 5pm and filled out my paperwork and got brought into the exam room with 5 mins. The doctor proceeds to exam my teeth and then x-Rays where taken. After he put a camera in my mouth and told me what was needed to be done. The doctor then steps out while I sat there waiting 10 mins later the receptionist walks in with a clipboard and puts it in my lab literally puts the pen in my right hand and wanted me to sign the bill. She then explains line by line the cost of a cleaning $175 for upper left, $175 for upper right $175 for lower left, $175 for lower right and so forth! Go ahead and sign Me: ummm sorry I just want a regular cleaning, I don't want to pay this amount. Receptionist: ooh no problem I can help you with that, we can apply for care credit. Me: ugh NO, I just want what I paid for a regular cleaning. Receptionist: ok, and walks out. By this time it's already 50 mins into the consultation the same lady that took my x-Rays came in with a tray and said she was just gonna polish my teeth. I asked " aren't you gonna do a cleaning?" She said no just polish I kinda knew what I was getting myself into with a groupon deal but damn you wanted over $1350 dollars for cleaning and shit I didn't want to have done. I ONLY WANTED A SIMPLE CLEANING! Forget going back for the whitening I would never step foot into this dental office again! Good news NO CAVITY! read more
