This auto repair shop is great! It was this past Saturday and my car was having trouble and I didn't know what it was, called some shops but of course they were either all booked or closed. Luckily he took me in right away and I came back later and everything was all fixed, he had to screw back my top mount parts pretty much because they became loose. Met with Willy today to help get my sons car ready for a smog. I gotta say, unbelievable customer service from Omni! This was my first time at their shop and called after 10am if they could diagnose a check engine light. Willy was able to take me in immediately and pull the code. He explained that I could reset it and see what would happen but also wrote me an estimate to replace a particular sensor if the light came back. After the reset I had to put about 60 miles on the car. He told me to come back after I had those miles on it to make sure everything would be ok before I did the smog check. I came back a few hours later and he said it was ready for the test and recommend me a local shop down the street. Went to his recommend smog test facility and passed without issue. I'd like to say thank you for your time today and not charging me one dime for everything you did for me! Even called and text me to be sure the car was good and asked if it had passed. I went in to see why my car was making a loud whistling noise and why it was shaking. I met with Willie, who I believe is the main mechanic. He checked under the hood, drove it around, checked under the car and told me I had almost everything wrong with my car. I knew it was in bad shape when I took it to Meineke and they quoted me $1100, so I was expecting to pay a lot. However, Willie quoted me at $430!! And charged me $445 in the end (forgot to add taxes). He even changed my oil and refilled my fluids, for free! He was a really nice man and made sure my car was taken care of. I called about a week before I went in and got a quote over the phone to repair the mechanism in one of my windows. It was reasonable so I made an appointment. They said it would take 2 to 3 hours to repair my window. It took just under 2 hours and the price was exactly what I was quoted over the phone. Before turning the car back over to me, they checked the pressure in all 4 tires and the fluid levels. Because my tires were low they adjusted them. The people at Omni were considerate, kind, professional, and I felt confident that they were not going to take advantage of my inexperience with car repairs. Omg I cannot day enough about Willie! He was absolutely the BEST! I had my check engine light on forever and needed to get it Text prior to getting a smog check to renew my registration. He took the machine up to my car and let me know what the issue was free of charge had me drive 85 miles after he reset it to make sure that it was What he had thought and the light never came back on so he advised me that I was ready to go get the smog check. He referred me down the street and the two gentlemen there were excellent super nice and I passed my smog check I was able to get my registration taken care of. Willie Was the only mechanic that I have ever encountered that was willing to hook my vehicle up to the machine and diagnose the problem for free of charge. I got my water pump replaced here. The price was fair and the main mechanic explained exactly what was wrong and why I was hearing high-pitched noises on cold starts. The people were friendly and the main mechanic didn't charge me for a couple of things he could have :) And they were open on a Saturday and Sunday! I don't know if they always are, but it was awesome. Don't let the construction on Magnolia scare you away, although it does feel weird driving through the construction. After wrapping up three previous horrendous reviews for the mechanics that I had experienced before bring my vehicle to Omni, I was eager to get to some well earned positivity. Omni Auto Repair fixed issue in my vehicle that three other mechanics charged me for but couldn't fix! Trying to get my Mini Cooper smogged, I needed to clear the fault codes in my vehicle. Three previous repair shops charge me combined, around $4000 to attempt this. Some, blatantly ripping me off. After dealing with the final unscrupulous mechanic who gave me back a running vehicle that no longer ran, I chugged my Mini into Omni, barely making it before it died out completely. Omni gave me an accurate diagnostic and fixed all issues within three days for an incredibly low price! When I got into my car, not only were all my fault codes finally gone, but amazingly, my car runs like new!!! I was actually in shock and relieved that I finally found a repair shop that is not only competent, but honest and fair and in this day and age, sadly, that is a rarity. Words can't describe how awesome this place it. I found them on Yelp. Five star reviews, one mile from my house. I called and Willy talked me through my stress over the phone and convinced me to bring my car in. Saw some trans oil in my coolant reservoir and he knew instantly what had happened. Got it towed to his shop for him to check it out and he messaged me instantly telling me what the car needed and how much it would cost. He was so honest in telling me that the price to fix the vehicle would be more than the car is worth and that I could use that money to put down on a new vehicle. I ran out of tows so have had my car sitting in his lot all week and he's been so understanding. Didn't charge me to look at the car. Didn't charge me to keep my car there. Gave me honest advice even though that was taking money away from him and he was extremely knowledgable.
