She made this experience seamless and I didn't have to worry about her- which I unfortunately couldn't say the same for my other vendors LOL I provided an online template for the "theme" i was going for and she was able to capture that PERFECTLY in the photo background! I suggested color changes and she was able to adapt, which providing me a mock up a few days later. I was confident in her skills and knew she'd successfully execute my vision. For the backdrop, I asked for a few samples and she provided a gorgeous one that I've never seen other businesses use! Instead of opting for the standard gold/ rose gold shimmer, we went with a pink/ neutral marble background that added a WOW factor to my guests. Michelle arrived early for set-up, didn't need much space and had super cute and updated props. My color scheme was lavender and IDK if she BOUGHT lavender baby signs but we were so impressed with the wide selection that gave character to our event :) The biggest stunner of all? THERE WERE FRIDGE MAGNETS!!! Guests were able to put their printed pics in fridge magnets as a unique keep sake! IDK if I'm removed from the photobooth world but I've never experienced or heard about this being an option. I also appreciate Michelle providing a link to all the pics taken, so I can send to attendees! My guests had a BLAST and we're sooo grateful to have Envelop Smiles be a large contributor to our successful baby shower. I insisted on coming here and leaving a review to help a small business owner. If you didn't know, Yelp charges you for everything from responding to new potential customers via phone and text, to putting a logo on your page, to putting up all other badges. Everything is charged. I don't care if they take this review down. They are a monopoly in this space of reviewing for businesses and starting businesses like this will NOT be able to compete with those who are subscribed to their dozens of paid services. They will also place you down on their search engine because you're not paying Yelp.. That's why Google is a much more accurate place to find honest business reviews in my opinion. Anyways, thanks for reading my rant. Snap and Sing.. what can I say about this? Only good things. The owner was extremely accommodating. He went out of his way to help me and my wife for our daughter's birthday party and asked what our preferences were for the background, the picture frame when the photos are printed and much more. A cute little spot near The Camp in Costa Mesa! It's essentially a giant room with a variety of…read morephoto booths along the inside walls. There's both black-and-white photo booths and a selection of colored ones with fun backdrops. The procedure is pretty standard: tap your phone/card to pay for the booth and get ready to snap some pictures! It helps to adjust the seat inside and maybe practice some poses (I'm admittedly not the most creative with posing, haha). It's $5 per photo strip, and you get 4 poses. The colored ones come out horizontal, and the B&W ones are vertical. They all take some time to develop before the machine spits them out. The B&W ones take a little longer so it might feel a bit awkward waiting around for it, but it helps to go and try out some of the other booths. One thing I will say is that the booths themselves are pretty cramped. It took a bit of maneuvering for my boyfriend and I to fit in the booth and make sure we were both visible in the photos. Nevertheless, this is such a fun date idea or friend group activity!!
