The certainty was impressive, almost theatrical. Six sessions and $1,800 later, the scar looks more noticeable than before. When I brought this up, the story shifted instantly. Suddenly, Michdlle told mr something completely different, as if the original promises had never been spoken. A dermatologist later confirmed what LaserAway never mentioned: some chains simply don't have the equipment to treat certain scars, but they'll still sell you the package anyway. That realization was the first crack in the façade. Filler: Then came the filler. I received cheek filler in October 2025. A few months later, I developed a soft, fluid‑like pocket in the exact area where the filler was injected. When I called, I wasn't met with concern. I was met with contradiction, deflection, and a tone that suggested my questions were an inconvenience. At my follow‑up appointment, the clinical trainer took photos and briefly "consulted her team." Within minutes, she returned with a conclusion that felt pre‑written long before I walked in: not filler‑related. No explanation. No curiosity. No genuine attempt to understand what was happening. Just a quick dismissal and a recommendation to see my primary care provider. The entire interaction felt like watching a performance where the lines were memorized, the expressions rehearsed, and the outcome predetermined. It was impossible to ignore the disconnect between the polished image they project and the lack of accountability behind it. I explained that I had never experienced anything like this before and that the swelling appeared exactly where the filler was placed. My concerns were brushed aside with the kind of practiced detachment that only comes from repeating the same script to too many dissatisfied customers. LaserAway Arcadia offered me contradictions, dismissals, and a complete absence of responsibility. I walked in expecting expertise. I walked out realizing I had been treated like a transaction, not a patient. If you're considering this location, let my experience be the warning I never received. They give you a full facial with jelly masks or a nice exfoliating mask and then a very nice and thorough, yet gentle, dermaplane. My skin feels amazing after I leave. I'm turning 50 this year and people tell me my skin looks amazing. Last month, I did my first microneedling. They use the FDA regulated Skin Pen (which is the best) and my skin looked so good after a few days. I could see my fine lines improve and I have some scarring that improved as well. The staff is so great. They run specials every month and their pricing is very fair. I only do the dermaplane facials when there is a special. He asks questions about how you have felt prior to coming into his office for a well women check up and if you have had any complications during the past year. My wife absolutely loves him and he has a gentle bedside manner. He is extremely easy to talk to, and that makes for one heck of a great doctor patient relationship. It has been 10 years and we expect to be coming back as long as Dr. Alperin decides to stay in this practice. If your present gynecologist is hard to talk to, and doesn't give you the answers you want, I urge you to give Dr. Alperin a call and schedule an appointment.

I came into the hospital praying that my OB could be there or at least a female as it's a delicate situation in a tender place. So when he came in the triage room to introduce himself, I was quite surprised! I'll tell ya... I am SO beyond grateful that he was my doctor that night. There was not one moment that I felt rushed, or that he was frustrated with my many attempts to stop pushing because it hurt. In every way, he was calm, gentle, encouraging & extremely respectful. My mother-in-law (a doctor) and sister-in-law (a NP) were talking about how impressed they was with his bedside manner & skill as a doctor. If you want to feel respected & empowered when you deliver your baby - he's a great person to seek out! I wish I was more with it in the moment to say thank you & recognize what all he did to make sure my son came to the world safely, but hopefully this helps in a "thank you!" My husband even joked after that he wanted to be his friend because he was so kind! Thank you Dr. Canestraro!!
