All of the medical professionals here have been amazing and helpful! However there have been multiple times that my appointment has been cancelled and rescheduled day of, or when I do come in i'll be informed that the doctor isn't there and i'll be put with someone else. There does not seem to be very good communication within the office, as i'm often told different things by each of the staff members I talk to. Overall while the staff is kind, all of the inconveniences within the practice itself have not made it worth it. read more

Fabulous doctors! I had a very serious issue a few years ago and Dr Racette immediately diagnosed and treated a situation that had my GP baffled. I have gad a great experience staff on top of things and the doctors know what they are doing, seem to have a lot of knowledge. I checked in on my phone like it said to do to let them know I was there and my time came and went, about 10 min after my time I went to front desk, she said oh you have to come and check in with me, so I said so why check in on your phone, cause it says you are all set, that was confusing. Need to do one or the other check in, but this will always be my first choice for dermatology. 5 stars read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Literally probably the worst "doctor's" office in Arizona. I'm not even sure if you can call this a doctor's office, based on how horribly unprofessional this circus is. First of all, the front desk virtually NEVER calls you back. Literally, I'm not exaggerating, they will not call you back. No matter what. Then they'll blame it on "faulty" phone systems that they apparently knew about and never decided to fix. Second, they forget to send in requests to blood work labs. So unless you enjoy driving to the lab only to be turned around because you don't have an appointment scheduled, avoid this office! Third, they are never on time. I am actually writing this review as I sit in the waiting room, 54 minutes after my appointment was scheduled. Like I said, avoid this clown operation at all costs. I wish I could give zero stars to this place, but one star is for my doctor because she is at least nice and smiles a lot. There is absolutely no way of getting a hold of this place. It is absolute hell to try to get an appointment with this place. Currently on a serious medicine called Accutane. It is so serious that I need to get blood work done every month, so I need to be in touch with my doctor in case I have questions or side effects. Everytime I call or leave a message they don't return until 3-5 days later if that it has been 2 weeks me trying to get them on the phone.. leads to voice mail that doesnt get returned. They failed to send lab requests on time which left me without my medicine and now I can't get a hold of them for an appointment and questions for my doctor. At this time it seems to me that this place is no different than a nail salon. read more

I was hesitant to make an appointment here after receiving a referral here & reading poor reviews... BUT, I had a very good experience attending Omni Dermatology. Referred for my sons standard birth mark, I wasn't sure what they could offer. The pediatrician thought it should be looked at. The doctor at Omni, said, it was very standard with no issues and actually didn't feel right charging me for my visit that day. I can't remember the last time a business was so honest to offer to refund me without me asking. The whole staff was very kind and I recommend trusting this office with your dermatology needs. read more

Went here to treat a reoccurrence of shingles/post-herpatic nerve pain on my scalp (previously diagnosed by an urgent care doctor) per recommendation of my PCP. The PA talked to me for maybe 5 minutes total, and barely looked at my scalp. I'm in so much discomfort and I told her all of my symptoms, past and present, but she gave me the brush-off. She obviously didn't believe me or take me seriously because she prescribed a topical solution for the itch that you CANNOT give someone who has shingles or any other type of infection. Sure enough, when I got home a couple hours later, my partner and I took a look at my scalp and the blisters and rash were so obvious and apparent. She would have seen it if she took me seriously and had actually looked. The pain and itching were getting bad, so I ended up going to another provider at my PCP the next day (after wasting time and money) who re-confirmed the diagnosis of shingles. Please save yourself the headache and do not go here. They are not compassionate or competent. read more

OK, call me back - two days later when I had heard nothing, I called back. Just got a voice mail, left message that I had not heard from them. Dr. Andrew Racette used to be quite the gold standard of physicians regardless of field of expertise has exacting standards, but does not tolerate questions. I have known him for many years and I placed my trust in him. He helped me with invasive melanoma when I was self pay. He called me himself when I had to go in for a second biopsy. "I need more. When can you come in?" That is the quintessential physician of the highest order. If I could have given him a bazillion stars, i would have done so with great joy. I have never had a physician reduce me to tears and be so condescending before today. 5 minutes of explanation of treatment and what to expect on previous visit would have saved me a $50 copay and more pain. From today, in appointment I now know "it will probably take the medication 2-3 months to start working". I think he wasn't happy when he walked in the exam room door, was curt and frustrated by any questions. Apparently hurting like hell and not sleeping because of it, multiple issues and diminished physical ability are unimportant. He complained that he had given me more than 15 minutes, that he had squeezed me in as a favor, and he had so many patients waiting and what was he supposed to tell them? When I made the appointment I asked for 30 minutes to discuss an overall treatment plan. Four Valleywide locations most likely means a great deal of overhead and his time must be planned carefully to maximize his ability to treat enough patients for at least a break even business model. Dr. Dickman is a wonderful dermatologist. Every time I've come in, he's answered all of my questions and calmed my nerves. I am a 22 year old Female struggling with adult acne, and we recently started Accutane. I've been seeing really great results so far. Dr. Dickman has been really supportive in my Accutane journey. There is a scribe at this location that I forget the name of currently but she was so awesome and comforted me when I was really upset about my acne. I made an appointment to have a suspicious mole checked. The nurse practitioner spent less than a minute in the exam room with me. She explained that it was nothing to worry about and asked if I had any questions. She did not offer to examine my skin for other abnormalities. The office appears to be more interested in providing cosmetic procedures. NOT worth $125! read more
