[[HIGHLIGHT]]I was very disappointed by this office.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It came highly recommended by my ophthalmologist and the pre-surgery appointment went well and I was scheduled for surgery. I had to cancel my surgery, which I did several days in advance due to a serious illness in my family. I rescheduled. I went to my PCP for my pre-surgery exam. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I received a call from Omni from Taylor who gave me instructions and reiterated that my appointment was for 1:20 the next Monday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I don't get voicemail I get a transcript. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On the day of my surgery we were on our way down there from Southeast Aurora, and I saw there had been a call from Omni. I called them and they said that I missed my appointment which had been rescheduled for 7:00 a.m..[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was so frustrated especially since I had been anxious about my surgery.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I went back and looked and there were several calls but no messages. I listen to voicemail and there was no voicemail message, only the message from Taylor from the previous Wednesday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I call later that day to make another appointment for surgery in that department was unavailable. I called the next day and left a message, and the next day and left a message.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was told that I was on the list to be called but I have not heard back from them so am I blacklisted now?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I am so frustrated with this office that I doubt if I all want to go back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll ask my regular ophthalmologist who I have seen for almost 30 years and who was also my mother's ophthalmologist, I will ask him to recommend a different surgeon. I had glaucoma/cataract surgeries with Dr. Belen this summer. Six months later my vision in one eye was still blurry. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked him if there was damage to that eye, and he said he didn't know, and told me he would see me in 3 months.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]That response was not good for me and decided to get a second opinion.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I am so thankful I did. The new glaucoma doctor knew right away why my vision was blurry. He told me that the previous glaucoma surgery I had failed, and needed to have surgery 2 days later to correct the failed surgery done by Dr. Belen. If I would have stayed with Dr. Belen I could have lost vision in that eye because of his lack of concern not wanted to pursue with further test why my vision was blurry. read more

I went for a cataract evaluation with Dr. Belen, but I did not get any real answer. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The doctor basically told me I needed to decide what type of lens I wanted implanted and impatiently sent me to his scheduling department.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]How can I choose a permanent lens without any guidance?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Since I am not ready to do the surgery right now, I wanted to have my contact lens prescription issued, and even though they made all the measurements and I brought the prescription I am currently using, they refused to give that, so how can I trust them to implant a permanent lens in my eyes, if they don't even know my contact lens prescription? I guess I will be looking for another practice to do my surgery. This costed me over $200 and I did not get any answer. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Dr. Jason Wang is a miracle worker! I had a great experience with him.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went in for a consolation for Lasik and due to having -11 eyesight did not qualify. Instead EVO ICL was recommended for me. I decided to get it and it has been the best decision I've ever made. I went from not being able to see anything to seeing better than all of my friends/family. When it came to surgery day, Dr. Wang was wonderful as well as the nurses and anesthesiologist. I was so comfortable and there was zero pain. Dr. Wang botched my fiancé's Intraocular Lens eye surgery. He inserted a lens too big for her eye, causing four straight days of migraines. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He offered zero explanation as to why he chose the surgery direction that he did.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Zero financial backup besides not charging her. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff was insanely rude during the process.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wouldn't trust Dr. Wang to put a band-aid on a paper cut. I clearly should have looked at the reviews before I went to see Doctor Wang. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Every step of this process has been frustrating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The office staff is as incompetent as you can get.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was told after initial consult that I'd receive an email with details on my three lens replacement options. I never received the email and when I called I was told they don't send emails.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was also told the doctor had only given one option for me. This was not accurate but I pushed forward and after 7 phone calls I finally got the lens option detail I needed[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was told the next step was to have a call with the insurance coordinator. The call was set for a week later at 2:30. Same as before, no call so I reached out to the doctor and they said the call was scheduled for 3:30.. 3:30 came and went with no call. When I called the office they told me the call had a 30 minute window which passed again with no call.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Finally I did receive a call and I was actually presented with the three options I was told I'd get weeks earlier but the price was nearly double the initial quote. Did my eye dialations as directed by Ommi and showed up for my cataract surgery and was told they had no appointment for me. Partly my fault because I went to the 3rd floor and surgeries are done on the 2nd floor. Don't know why they could not find my appointment unless each floor reception does not share information but I was not directed to 2nd floor and was directed to go home. I am not going back to such bad administration. Location parking is terrible, too. read more

Everybody I dealt with here has been very professional, competent, and courteous. The cataract surgery corrected my vision, with no glasses or contacts, to 20/20. I couldn't be happier with the results. The only issue I have had is when I go to bed, I think, after wearing those for decades, that I forgot to take my contacts out. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I did the evaluation I bought the eyedrops. They also had eyedrops sent to my house that I paid for that was needed for the cataract surgery. Scheduled for cataract surgery. Was called with my co-pay. The surgical facility called me, gave me all my instructions, then two days before my surgery called me and said they were out of network. We did a three-way call with my Insurance they assured them they were in network the facility and the doctor all they had to do was call in and get some kind of code. They said no we're not doing that. I was given the opportunity to pay cash of course. read more

Pathetic service. What a disaster with this office. Wrongfully, asking us to pay when we have insurance which, COVERS OMNI FOR CARE. This was predetermined PRIOR to the visit! Another issue: We had to park blocks away due to limited parking. When we reported this issue to the front office they said "just park in the reserve parking." WHAT!! Who is going to pay the tow bill...certainly, NOT OMNI! MANY excellent Doctors within the Denver area. Had a 3:20 appt and arrived at 3:05. At 3:55 told they were short technicians and it would be awhile, and also told for the first time the appointment could take up to 2 hours. Never planned on a 3 hour ordeal for a consultation to determine next steps. Very disorganized and not communicative at all. I am going elsewhere. read more

Workers are rude. Unfriendly and uncaring. I've been going for years, and I'm looking for someone who at least doesn't act like a robot.

I have been going to Omni/Spivack for many years. Until my last appt there has not been an issue. Went in for my annual diabetic eye exam. In scheduling the appt I verified that my insurance had not changed, Primary UHC medicaid complete and Colorado First/Medicaid as my secondary. When I went in they took both cards, then told asked for a $50 copay. With Colorado First as a secordary THEY COVER what the primary does not. (I double checked that before and after this appt.) The front desk told me I was wrong. Omni only excepts what the primary card states. The UHC does say $50 copay, HOWEVER CF again covers that. Both women at the front desk argued with me about the secondary paying, then they got a third women involved from billing that took me back (out of earshot of the other patients) to her office. She also said that CF doesn't cover copays. That is NOT correct. I have NEVER had to pay that copay to Omni in the past. Never got to see a doctor! I called back and left billing a message that after speaking with CF they verified that they do in fact cover that copay and I wanted an apology. Omni never called back. So I called again and spoke to a woman in billing. Again they insisted that CF did pay copays. However, it should be noted that at the beginning of the call she stated that they, but changed her story later on the call. I will not be going back. I am wondering if they charge the patient that copay and then turn around and bill the secory as well. read more

Been there twice for my mom's apointment, first time they got us 15 to 20 mins late. Second time we got to the front desk around 10 minutes late, they just send us back home with no consultation whatsoever. I had cataract surgery here at the end of 2015. I paid most up front and paid the rest of Bill in the next six months. Everything about the experience was fine. It is now 2019. Every year I get a bill for the entire amount. I call them and they say they will take care of it and yet every year I get another bill. I am concerned that this is some sort of scam to take advantage or the elderly or the insurance companies. I have not contacted them about this year's bill yet as I am considering getting a Lawyer. I have thought long and hard about writing this. I don't like to be negative, however, I also cannot agree with being treated like a cow on an assembly line. The wait was extremely long and I was on time. The entire visit took a solid 2 hours, but about 7 minutes with the surgeon regarding cataract surgery. To make a long story short, my goals for my vision were not part of the discussion until I pressed the issue. The doctor did not given a logical process to follow to ensure sharp distance vision, a goal I stated. (Later found out from someone else that I should see if a LASIK touch up is possible.) Yet I was strongly encouraged to schedule for surgery before leaving, but to cancel if eye drops every two hours solved my vision problems. (? Each eye sees different colors and has halos.) Also, my history of previous LASIK and a medication I was taking that can rarely affect vision was not noticed or discussed until I pointed it out on my chart. Just don't feel confident like when Dr. Spivak did my LASIK and it was so perfect. read more

This organization is a racket. I spent two and a half hours in their office, with OVER half of that time waiting, getting evaluated for cataract surgery. They give you a high pressure sales pitch on a specific brand of cataract lenses, but after three requests from three different people, to include the doctor, no one would give my my 'out of pocket' costs for these lenses. In fact, they wanted to schedule me for surgery without giving me this critical piece of information. I now have to wait five days for some out-of-state accountant to provide this information. Then I was told that if I were to schedule surgery, I should allow two to four hours of waiting around. Cataract surgery is a quick procedure, and this wait is the result of the doctor scheduling 20 to 25 procedures in a single day. I will not be going back. read more

I got something in my eye a few weeks ago and had scratched it pretty bad. The intake person on the phone listen to my symptoms and figured out the best route for me and how to treat it till I could get in later that day. I saw Dr Dowgin, he was very patient and informative and had me come back in to check up on it to make sure there was no other issues. I felt comfortable and informed from the intake person, doctor to the front desk. read more

My doctor is great, but noone answers the phones there are 8 prompts the only one that answers is billing. Trying to get a question answered and can't reach anyone just voicemail, very annoying. When you have an appointment you have to stand and wait 5-10 minutes just to check in and then you are late, and have to wait 1-2 hours just to see the doctor. THey need more people to work the phones and the front desk. If you have an appointment past 8:30 am you may as well plan to being there until 11am very frustrating!!!! read more

Not patient friendly at all, Their policies are in place to make the cattle operations fast and easy for them. They do 30 cataract procedures in a day. Your family must be there the whole time or they will not do the procedure and you will wait until your ride arrives before they will operate on your eye. Staff are wonderful and we really like Dr. Teeter. We would rate the business itself a 5. The problem is parking. My mother is 87yo and I am partially disabled. When we have to park a block or two away and walk to the building, it is a major deterrent. We are seriously thinking of looking for an eye doctor elsewhere who offers a better parking situation. I recently had to have minor plastic surgery on my lower eye lid. I must say that everyone at Omni was great! The nurses are super nice. I had the pleasure of meeting with 2 doctors there. Both were really great. They listen to all of your concerns and try to make you feel comfortable. To be fair I was a nervous wreck, as this was my first surgery. They really did a great job to comfort me and go in to great detail of what they needed from me. If I ever need another eye procedure done, I would not even consider going somewhere else. They are located conveniently about 2 blocks east of the Cherry Creek Mall. They have a parking garage that is free. read more

Been seeing Dr. Belen for several years. He is good. Unfortunately, the front office is impossible to reach. Can't schedule an appointment, can't get a prescription refilled (they won't even respond to Caremark's phone calls), can't reach a human in anyway. They have an opaque, looping phone tree which will eventually allow you to leave a voicemail which will never be returned. I've been trying to contact them for over a month to no avail. I have to find a new doctor now because I cannot reach them. read more

Terrible experience. The surgeon was fine as far as I know but the staff was alternately so patronizing and patriarchal I walked out before my surgery. Waiting times were one hour plus. The receptionists in the surgical center must have post graduate degrees in hostility training. If I hadn't have walked out, I fear I would have hit one of them. In my opinion, having spent hours in their waiting room observing the interactions, this office is structured to keep the waiting room full and protect themselves from liability. The lives and well being of their patients run a distant second. Avoid at all costs! read more

My experience with them has been very bad and I do not recommend them. From the front staff who is not nice, keeps on having scheduling issues, will not take the time to call if the doctors are stuck in surgery and will be 3 hours delayed, what seems to be gossip amongst the front office staff in the waiting room. To back staff who does not communicate among themselves or with doctors or with front staff and does not seem to read your chart before they receive you. After hours line does not respond to calls (not even their post op responding to recently operated patients). Operation room staff who sent me home with the wrong post op treatment, a nurse lying about my eye pressure during one of my check up visits. I could go on and on. It is a shame because I do not question that they may have 1 or 2 very good doctors but how can they succeed if they are surrounded by incompetent people throughout their practice? read more

I would give zero stars if I could. This office is a money grabbing racket! The front desk is nice, but the so called customer service staff going over your insurance, billing and scheduling options are incompetent, rude, and try to push you towards the most expensive packages, materials and options they have. When your are trying to find out all your options, get a detailed estimate with codes you can talked to your insurance carrier about, they not only refuse to give you the info, lie, make up stuff and more. Their so called Office Director is more professional than the scheduling staff, but equally poorly equipped to listen to patients. They change their story at every turn just to confuse you and push you into the most expensive options. They are clearly used to dealing with a lot of elderly people who they can just take advantage of and sell a bill of goods to. Unethical, unprofessional, and untruthful organization in my opinion , that I recommend anyone should stay far away from. They are a cattle farm that shuttle people in and out for cataract surgery as fast as possible while clearly trying to squeeze every dime out of them. read more

While the staff at the surgery center are decent, the wait times are ridiculous. My mom had two different cataract surgeries there. Each time they had her come in at 7:45 through the worst traffic and then we waited for an hour before they took her back. They then charged her insurance $6000 for the 15 minute procedure. The communication is terrible when it comes to money. If you have insurance then you don't need any communication, but for those who need to self pay... communication is the key. Calling in for the 1st time to make an apt., they tell you that a $300 deposit is needed and "anything above and beyond that, a payment arrangement will be made" this is very is misleading. What that really means is only for that same day appointment. Every time you come in is a "new" appointment or procedure and requires payment in full before anything is done. The billing and scheduling dept's need to be in communication with each other on this. I had an apt. on a Friday and was under the impression that my procedure would be done that day. Instead I get there and that appt. was an evaluation and asked to come back for the procedure. So I go to the scheduling desk and made an apt. for the following Monday for the procedure. I arrive Monday and was asked to pay for the procedure in full which was quite shocking.... what happen to the payment plan? Why didn't the scheduling lady tell me that on Friday when I made the apt. for Monday? Or the Dr. tell me that before I went to the scheduling desk? Is any portion of the $300 used towards the $1100? People need a heads up when they need to pay a thousand dollars. Even if I was wealthy and could drop a thousand dollars like a dime, I would still like to know ahead of time, not 5 minutes before the procedure. In my case I could not have it done and had to leave after agonizing over it all weekend. I went back to work on that past Friday and I could of talked to my employer about needing a thousand dollars for Monday's procedure. I was very disappointed NOT to get it taken care of (especially since it may be a time sensitive situation if it turns out to be cancer) and then had to go to the emergency room the next day (Tue). It will be taken care of from the hospital now. I'm sure the Dr.'s are wonderful and well trained, i never had a doubt about their ability, I felt very secure being in their hands. "Dr Sumit Sitoli" is not a Doctor. I went because I had eyelid revision and my lower lids were drooping. He said "no problem I'll just pinch your lids together" and lift.....well I asked if I should go to a plastic surgeon. No no...I can do it...So I let him. He stitched my lower lids to my upper lids and effectively shrunk the size of my eyes by 1/3. I was shocked, but thought they might improve with time. Well 3 years later....I looked like a walking freak. My eyes were always my best asset. I looked like a round eyed monster. I went back to tell "Dr Sitoli" what he did. He hung his head and said "I don't want to hear". I asked for my money back, so that I could go to Dr. Jerry Popham and have them fixed. After a month of waiting....I got the call that although he had done the procedure wrong, the statute of limitations (2 years) was done....and I count go pound sand. Dr. Shukla was good, but their billing is atrocious. They had a "billing issue" that resulted in some services not being billed, some over 18 months. This cost me personally several hundred dollars due to strategic timing on met deductibles. New ownership wouldn't work with me, offered a "payment plan," then sent me to collections when I asked for arbitration. Multiple retinal detachment surgeries over 10 years billed at 100's of thousands of dollars and they sent me to collections for $500 because I asked for some of it to be waived (it was their "billing issue" not mine). OMNI Eye doesn't care about patients, only payments. read more

While the medical procedure and staff were fine, I was told everything related to my cataract surgery had to be pre-paid, which I did in early 2017. 16 months later I am receiving a bill for 280 bucks. When I call to question the bill, the number on the bill is inoperable. Additionally, Omni eye does not publish their phone number anywhere. Not too happy--16 months later? Really? read more
