We were having a birthday/family celebration (about 20 people) and everyone was blown away by Tam's close up magic. Our participating family members ranged from 20-80 years old and there was truly something for everyone. (However, I probably wouldn't recommend anything for kids 8 and under.) Tam arrived at our house early to set up to perform a 1 hour slot and we placed him in a separate room from the main party area for some added "mystery". Every 15 minutes or so, a small group of 6-7 people would be seated in the room and the show would "rotate" through. Throughout the hour, we would hear bursts of laughter, applause, or shock coming from the room which built anticipation. We later learned that he varied some of the tricks per group so it was a little different every time. The show itself was amazing; magic shows are usually performed at a distance but Tam closed that gap and interacted with everyone by name. We touched props, shuffled cards, and inspected the table throughout. He had great comedic timing, answered all of our questions, and truly is a master of his craft. I hired Tam as a magician for our family's Christmas Eve party.
