Omomo is finally open in Brea! My friends and I have been waiting for this particular location to open, since the Irvine and Chino Hills ones are a little farther than we'd like them to be. I haven't been to Omomo in YEARS though, but I do remember their drinks being super good. They're currently in their soft opening phase, so hours are from 12-5pm. There was a tiny line but not too crazy, went by quite quick. Our cashier was super friendly and helped us decide what to order. I got the Jasmine Creamomo with Tiramisu foam and 80% sweetness. My friend got the Uji Green Milk Tea Creamomo with Tiramisu foam. The total for both was 12.50 and 13.75 with tip. Our drinks came out relatively quick! Woohoo! I think Omomo is good for their specialty drinks but not necessarily their "basic" boba drinks. I thought the Jasmine tea was good but not one of my all-time favorites. This was my first time visiting the new Brea location. I came a month ago thinking it was open but they were still building. This store is located in a food plaza across from In n Out. There is plenty of parking. I arrived a little before 12 and there was a small line forming. the store itself is very narrow with no seating aside from a waiting bench towards the door. The design is very thoughtful with text on the wall and unique framing pieces by the pick up. I ordered the strawberry tornado 8/10. I liked the fresh fruit at the bottom and the flavor was very strong. Their boba is very good too, not too sweet. Seasonal Peach drink is called itchy peach? I think. This drink was very subtle. A little hard to taste the peach flavor. The color is also very muted and dull as opposed to the display promotional image they have. That caught me off guard because I thought it would be a nice vibrant peach color but came out dull. 6/10 rating for that drink. Have not yet found my favorite drink here so I might come back to try other flavors. read more

I love me some OMOMO so when it's opened a little closer to my friends than Irvine, we tend to stop by often. Their OMOMO matcha is unbeatable. I also like to get oreos blended in with it for some great oreo flavor that isn't too overpowering. I like to go with 50-70% sweetness. read more

Happy they finally opened up closer to me! Store is small and definitely more of a pick-up location. No outdoor seating but unsure if that might change in the future as they're still in soft opening. My friends and I came around 4pm on a Thursday and it wasn't that crowded. We were able to order within 5 minutes and our drinks came out shortly afterwards. Everyone generally seemed to enjoy their drink. One of my friends was happy they still were offering their seasonal peach drinks. I've always been getting the Omomo Matcha and this time was no different. But for some reason, there were larger ice chunks in the drink, which I don't remember ever happening at the other locations and did not make for a good drinking experience. For now, I'll blame on the soft opening and working out the kinks. I plan to come in the future so hope to see improvement as the weeks go on. read more

Great drinks and well made. I've been here 2x since theire opening within 2 weeks! I really love the grapefruit smash! Got it both times I returned. Would be nice if the smash part is fully slush and lasts longer in slush state. Service is good. I wouldn't say great, but they are courteous and nice. The store is decorated simply with a trendy chic feel. Writing about this is making me want some! They do not take online or phone orders. You MUST order in store and wait for your order. I'm so happy Omomo opened a new location in Brea! I've been to the other locations in Irvine and it was my first time here. It's pretty small, not much space inside, but very aesthetic. No seats inside either so it's just a place for to go orders (similar to their other locations). No outside seating either. Parking can be tricky because there's so many popular eateries in the plaza. I came on a Friday night right before closing and there wasn't a long line, but still a few customers ordering and waiting for their drinks. My go to orders would be the omomo matcha ($6.95) with boba ($0.75) or the Oreo Brûlée Green Milk Tea ($6.75) which are both under their specials. Visited the new location today! There was no line when I arrived and I was surprised to see so many workers but it still took a few minutes for my drink to come out and I'm sure it's because all the workers are still new and getting used to all the recipes. I got the Omomo Matcha with 50% sugar and it tasted a bit too bitter than I expected but the crème brûlée inside the cup made up for the other 50%. Odd thing is that I got a sugar crash immediately after drinking it which usually does not happen... the only difference was this time I ordered it as is (with cow milk) and drank it with my Lactaid when I usually sub oat milk. Next time I will sub oat milk to see if it prevents a sugar crash. However, the price for it is too expensive. It's $6.95 now. I remember it being $5 but inflation sucks I guess. I hope they use authentic matcha from Japan in their drinks! The interior design is cool but there is no seating available. It's unfortunate because the other locations have seating. This omomo is located in a plaza with too many popular spots so it will be difficult to find parking on weekends and/or peak hours. However their business hours are 12-5pm during their soft opening phase so there will be parking available during the weekdays for sure. Parking is awful. It took longer to find a parking space than the wait in line for my drink. The wait wasn't too bad but I hear the line gets loooooong. As for the drink, its eh. I'm really glad to is location opened up after the sad news of the second Irvine location closing hit. This location is very close to my work so I can easily stop by and grab a drink during my lunches or after work!:) The set up is nice and though it's a bit confusing when you first come inside and you may be unsure of where to order, I do like that it's roomy inside. I wish there were more spots to sit like the Irvine location though. I've been to this location about 3-4 times in total since its opening and I would say that all the drinks I have tried here taste similar if not exactly the same as the ones I've had at the Irvine location. That being said, I think these specific drinks (Matcha Cortado Milk Tea and Creamomo, and Uji Green Milk Tea) are made quite well and are flavorful in my opinion. Each time I've gone, the service has been great and the workers were nice/kind.:) Everyone has their own opinions, but I think that if you come and try a drink you don't end up liking, I would come back and try something new! It's a matcha/brulee filled cup with their signature with ceremonial grade matcha & house milk. I appreciated that you could adjust the sweetest level and the boba added had the best texture. Today there wasn't much of a line around 3:30 PM parking was easy. I was able to get in right away and place an order they change the policy because soft opening was over. Max per person order is 12 drinks. I had a big order for my team and they were very patient with me. I forgot they don't take cash payment so make sure you have card or Apple Pay. Solid boba grab + kind service!! Walking in, the store is smaller than I would have thought. There are little to spaces to sit, but the layout makes for a good order-to-go boba spot! It wasn't too crowded, and the space is simple, modern aesthetic. Someone came to take our order and she was very kind! We ordered a Uji Green Matcha with boba and Osmanthas Milk Tea with boba. I asked the girl who took our order what sweetness she recommended and she was kind to suggest getting 80% sweetness with a topping which was perfect for me! The drinks came out fast and were great! I've been looking forward to trying Omomo's newest location ever since it was announced, and I finally got to try it today! I'm glad I finally have an Omomo much closer to me, and I would no longer have to wait in those atrocious lines back at Irvine (only waited about 20-25min total). They are still in soft opening, so their hours are only from 12-5pm at the moment. Came on a Thursday around 1:30pm and there was not much of a line, there were only a few people in front of me and the wait was indoors. Parking was a bit hard to find due to some popular places in the plaza, but I found that after we got our drinks, there were more parking spaces open (so I would probably just suggest coming at a time that is not during peak hours but it's probably harder no matter what during the weekend). We were able to order not long after, which me and my mom ordered their seasonal itchy peachy (a classic, what we always get at Omomo which we unfortunately haven't been able to get as much this summer) and the oreo brulee green milk tea to take home for my sister. The staff member who was our cashier seemed friendly but I felt that she was just trying to get the line moving so she kind of took one order after another without much interaction (which can be a good thing so that people can get their drinks faster). As for the drinks, while itchy peachy was still really good (I got it at 30% sweet and the sweetness was just right and still had a good fresh peach flavor), I feel that the way Irvine makes it is still superior (you can also tell the difference when the color looks barely pink in the picture and they seem to use less cheese foam which I didn't mind). What made it slightly disappointing was that when I drank it immediately, it wasn't fully slushy. Only like half the drink was slushy, while the bottom was just juice. Maybe the blender wasn't working well or they didn't add enough ice to it. Also, me and my mom both found some small ice cube pieces that didn't fully blend in. Overall, I'm glad this place opened up, and I'm sure that since they're still in soft opening, they will keep improving! I did love their interior though, very aesthetic and spacious (with only one bench to the side for seating, unfortunately). The perfect boba spot. If you're looking for fast, high quality drinks at a reasonable price this is the place. I have been to boba places across OC and I'll say this place is top tier. Their drinks just taste heavenly and the fresh fruit they use really makes a difference. I've tried over 10 of their drinks from across the menu and they were all good, but their fruit teas are a personal favorite. They can be a little sweet but you can easily adjust the sweetness level, I recommend the super lemon black tea since it's super refreshing. In addition to their amazing drinks their staff is always super nice and helpful. They're super friendly and patient despite the mountain of customers they sometimes have to deal with. I've never had any problem or mistake with my drink, even when the line goes out the door. They are also really quick too, I've been to places where the wait is twice as long with half the line. The only problem with this place is that there is no place to sit, so take that into account if it's your first time going. Personally it doesn't affect me, I've always liked to take drinks home or on the go, but I know a lot of people like to grab drinks and relax. Overall a 10/10 amazing place and I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. read more

While spending the day with the nieces we went to a tea shop that my nieces like to go to. She said it is pretty popular in the Orange County area and there are usually lines when she goes. As we arrived the parking lot was pretty packed with cars. Driving by we didn't see the line out the door which was great. Needed to park in their 15 min parking spot since everything else was taken. The line wasn't too bad as it went pretty quickly. I noticed they didn't allow photos after a certain point inside the store which is interesting. The place is very nice and clean. If you want a delicious matcha/milk tea In OC I would say OMoMO is on the top of the list. We always order the omomo matcha and it was great. The only thing you need to consider here is the line would be long because people really love the spot but this branch on brea is not that crowded than other branches and be careful with the cover its pretty sharp so we mostly request for a plastic cup to cover the edges.Still 5 star for me! read more

You're getting the same quality boba with a much shorter line. This is the 4th location I've been to. It's tucked away in a small plaza, but don't let that fool you.
