This place is located in the corner of a pretty busy shopping center. It's very spacious internally and has lots of places to sit and relax. They have a kiosk near the counter for you to place your order. There's even games for you to play while you wait for your drinks! Their menu has a nice variety of drinks to accommodate any cravings you might have. We tried the Original Milk Tea, Oolong Milk Tea, and Jasmine Milk Tea. All drinks had boba added to them. Their boba was chewy, lightly sweet and a perfect complement to our drinks. Each drink had a nice strong tea flavor and didn't taste diluted like other boba places I've been too. The guy who made our drinks was kind and polite. We will definitely be adding this place to our boba rotation :) read more

There was only one person being the cashier and making drinks, so there may be a wait especially if there is a lot of people in the front or a big order. I got the Super Fruitea Roasted Oolong. My friend and I were in search of a boba shop open late and happened to find this nearby spot on Google maps. This tea house is nestled in the corner of a shopping center, and there was plenty of parking when we arrived around 9:30 PM on a Tuesday. I ordered the passionfruit mango green tea, which came with mango chunks, rainbow jelly and chia seeds. I opted to remove the chia seeds and was able to swap the rainbow jelly out for boba. The price came out to $6 total which is pretty reasonable considering the rising boba costs at other shops. After taking one sip of the drink I realized I ordered it way too sweet (default 100%) and asked the worker if there was any way to add more ice so it could be diluted. She kindly took my drink & remade it to be significantly less sweet while still having a sweetness. The tea had a nice tropical flavor and the boba (not brown sugar boba) had a solid chew. Although it's not listed on the menu description, I found some pieces of orange peel in my drink. I enjoyed the chunks of mango, but was not a big fan of the bitterness and texture of the orange peel bits. I'd likely try a different drink next time around (or ask for the orange peel pieces to be omitted) but a nice option for late night boba if you happen to be the area. read more

First, the not so good: Event tho I asked for my drink to have 'light ice' they added so much that that ice to liquid ratio was probably 70/30. I don't remember the name of the tea, but it was pretty tasty. The sad part was the ice portion, but it was fine. Now the good part: The aesthetic of this place is SOOO COOL. I loved the decor, the relaxed ambiance and the fact that the suite where its located is a corner one, makes it even cozier in my opinion. They are quick making the drinks and they are so satisfying and hit the spot. My drinks always come out so good! They have a large menu, with a lot of different options and types of drinks. The drinks are customizable so they can be made with or without boba etc. They have smoothies, teas, frappuccino's, coffee drinks and more! They offer some food items as well. The staff is extremely friendly and inviting. This time we ordered a Brûlée Thai Slush and a Jasmine Milk Tea boba. The drinks were delicious as always! I was in the mood for some boba in the area, this place happened to be closest to me. Urban Location is like your Boba Tea House with all sorts of drinks and snackies. I came around 8 PM, and it was a bit busy, which was expected for that time of day. The place is a little hard to find--tucked away in the corner of a somewhat run-down plaza, but I decided to give it a shot. I ordered the Thai Milk Tea with the Crème Brûlée Swirl, Popcorn Chicken, egg bubble waffle, and a Jasmine Tea with Cheese Foam. The popcorn chicken was tasty but came in a small portion, so it wasn't the most satisfying for the price. The Jasmine Cheese Tea, unfortunately, didn't live up to my expectations. It tasted very diluted, and the cheese foam lacked any jasmine flavor. The Thai Milk Tea, on the other hand, had a nice, strong Thai tea flavor. However, the Crème Brûlée swirl was a bit of a letdown- it tasted pasty and powdery, not the smooth richness I was hoping for. The egg waffle was good and had a nice vanilla egg flavor to it. Overall, it's a decent spot if you're in the area, but there are definitely some improvements that could be made to the drinks and portion sizes on the popcorn chicken. read more

Drinks were decent, but it was a wee bit pricey. I'm glad that this place offers creme brûlée drinks because it's a good dupe for Omomo which is so far. Fourtea also has good tornado drinks as well, but I'm not disappointed with Urban's drinks. I think my only concern is the price because any boba over $7 is baffling to me. Service was a self-serve kiosk. Would prefer if we were greeted but my boyfriend & I came 30 mins before closing so I understand they were probably focused on getting ready for that. I still think we should at least be greeted when we walk in or thanked as we leave. In terms of ambiance, it is really nice inside and looks like a cool hang out spot! They have games that you can play as you drink boba and some cute plushies to decorate the store. I also think it's a nice place to do work at, so college students this is the place for you! Tucked in the corner of the shopping center with Northgate market is a boba gem! It's a well appointed, clean location with nice decor. My husband and I were intrigued with the varieties of milk teas, coffees and slushy drinks, and had to try it out. We ordered the salted foam iced coffee and the Thai crème brûlée tea with boba - both were fantastic! Also had to grab a light lunch... we ordered the shrimp fried rice and popcorn chicken with mild spice to share. Both were tasty too. My family used to like going here for the atmosphere. It's cozy, family-friendly, and great for students. My dad and I would go there for board games and drinks, but at this point we go to "La Michoacana". Don't get me wrong. The drinks are good! But the service? Definitely mid. Almost every time we've been, the staff asks for exact change. If you don't have it, they just keep the rest without even offering a solution. Once, we gave a $20, they asked for something smaller, and when we said we didn't have change, they just shrugged and started at me. So I said "it's ok- keep it." . It's happened more than once. My sister ordered once and was told, "Next time have exact change," before the worker quickly moved on attitude and all . I've gone to other boba places and their customer service is better. It's disappointing, especially when the drinks and space are nice. But the way they handle payments and speak to customers makes the experience UNCOMFORTABLE. My family decided not to go anymore, at least for now. We just got annoyed when they kept the rest of our change. Maybe we'll give it another shot in the future if things improve. I went here with a few friends who have been here before and I really liked it! I got a strawberry tea with 75% sweetness and it was really refreshing! It's filled with jellies and it had nugget shaped ice, I finished it so quickly that I didn't even realize that I was done until I got to the bottom. (2.5/5) **Classic Milk Tea: I've ordered this three times already, with and without boba. The boba is consistent and so is their milk tea. One of the best you'll have in the area. My partner and I had ordered a Matcha Tornado and a Matcha Milk Tea. We found the drinks to be undesirable. The matcha for both drinks tasted watered down and low quality. The texture of my Matcha Tornado was not too pleasant. The Oreo mixed with the brûlée, as well as the odd flavor of matcha created a mushy like palette for me to drink. They will reach out if they run out of an ingredient, like the creme brûlée. I love the that basil seeds they add to their drinks. This stuff is pretty nutritious compared to chia seeds.
