The flavors are really unique, like black sesame sugar milk boba latte - a flavor I haven't seen anywhere else in the states, and it's tasty too! You can choose your sugar and ice level, and the boba itself was really chewy and soft at the same time, my preferred texture. I was in the area for a class and Yelp surfaced this highly rated boba place nearby. It was later in the day so I selected the non-caffeinated Coco Pandan smoothie. The coconut flavor is from a powder and shows up as the dominant flavor. Pandan is present only in the green jelly and therefore present only in sips where jelly comes up the straw. With milk blended with ice it's a simple and refreshing drink. I customized sweetness (which comes from a syrup) down to 25% and it was still a bit sweet so maybe 0% would be better. Prices overall seem relatively lower than other boba chains I frequent. Maybe the might be competing against Half and Half, but having only tasted a single item I can't say for sure. This has been my sister's and my favorite Boba spot in Brea for a few years now. Everything I've gotten here is delicious but I'd say their best best drink is the Mango blast smoothie, but maybe at 50% sweet since this smoothie is VERY sweet. Even their classic boba is so good. I've tried the Thai Milk tea which you can tell they do actually use half-and-half, Tiger milk tea doesn't even taste like they use dairy free creamer because it is so good and creamy and the Assam tea tastes freshly brewed, and a few others I can't remember but I've never been disappointed by any of the drinks here. And the people that run the place are always so kind, it is family owned, it's a cute little shop. It's between the goodwill and the liquor store so the location might not seem appealing from the outside, but trust me this place is amazing!! Considering trying new drinks I've never tried before. It is small inside, and has no indoor seating other than a handful of stools to sit on while waiting for your drink. The man who greeted me at the counter was really friendly. I told him it was my first time there and asked which drinks are popular. He recommended an Ube drink, a strawberry swirl smoothie thing, and tiger boba. All sounded great and the smoothie was described as having a vanilla cream or something in it? I need to try that another time! But this visit I just wanted a classic milk tea drink with boba, so I ended up ordering the Hokkaido milk tea. They weren't busy so it only took a few minutes to get my drink. A lady came out from the back and gave it to me; she seemed really nice as well. Great friendly service! My drink was delicious! I ordered it 50% sweet. Normally I like to taste things exactly as they come when trying it for the first time, but I am trying to be good so I had the sugar reduced and I'm glad I did. It tasted perfect! The boba is a little bit smaller than I am used to, but it was soft and chewy. Perfect texture! I am frequently in the area so will be back again soon. The black sesame tiger boba sounds good, and it seems I have a bunch of drinks to try! My *only* issue I ran into (which isn't a real problem but I want to mention anyway) is the Yelp "10% off your first order". It is advertised on the page and when I went to check in it gave me nothing to redeem. Ordred a large Coco Pandan ($6.20) and Taro Swirl ($6.20) smoothie with coconut milk substitute. The Coco Pandan was flavorful with lots of coconut sweetness - a bit too sweet though. I thought the pandan flavor would be mixed into the smoothie, but it's just pandan jelly that's added to the coconut smoothie. It was very subtle in pandan flavor. The taro swirl had lots of taro flavor and a buttery sweet taste from the yellow cream mixed into it. My drinks were good, but I though they were too sweet. They do let you adjust sweetness so I'd adjust to 75% next time. I'm not sure if it's because I substituted whole milk for coconut milk (extra $.70), but my drinks were icy and watery rather than creamy. This tea shop is pretty small so there's not much room to hang out inside on your laptop. They also offer 10% off your order if you check-in on Yelp.
