Also got the egg sandwich and ube mochi brownie, both of which were so good! Bread was buttery and the egg salad was so flavorful. Ube mochi was flavorful and I liked the texture. It feels like the quality has dropped and/or I just visited on an off day. It was also incredibly loud in here, the music was way too loud and it wasn't a full house. People couldn't hear their orders being called and it lead to a weird clump of people just lingering around wondering where their drinks were. And unless you're seated/have a table, you're kind of stuck awkwardly hovering around the cafe to wait for your order. There isn't really a space to wait at. There's a ton of tables packed inside a small space, which is nice, but also makes for a weird atmosphere for customers who are waiting for their drinks for take out/can't get a table. We got two of the matcha flights, the Sweet Top flight and the Fruit flight and honestly, such a great deal. Looots of seating and I can see that this is a great study spot for college students, which I wished I had during undergrad. You order at the single kiosk. A hard choice had to be made, but I decided on the hojicha einspanner and my sister opted for the mango matcha. I neeeed that hojicha powder. Great flavor of that nutty "chocolate" profile. GOING HERE AGAIN. This is my favorite matcha spot hands down. It's so good, rich and creamy taste with a strong matcha taste as well. The place is so neat and organized. I love their little frames with word definitions as it adds to the simplicity. It's a very simple but modern look with lots of small greenery here and there. Service was very efficient which kept the line going. Their matcha flight looks awesome so i'll be trying that next! Parking is a little hard however as I had to park on the curbside of the street, very limited parking. You would most likely have to park a little bit down from Vivot and then walk over, but it's not too far. read more

Review 105/365 Day Challenge Visited here w my Friend Pow after our Hike/walk at the Fullerton Stairs/Steps. Came around 10:15 a.m. there was a lot of foot traffic flow and a lot of guests sitting enjoying their matcha drinks. Associates were really friendly, just when we went there was a confusion of a Matcha deal Day. So they got major guests waiting for their order which took a bit longer than expected for our 2 drinks & bagel cream cheese. ~ Blueberry Lavender Ube Matcha Latte w Ube CoLd Foam was my drink choice. The blueberry & ube can definitely taste but i couldn't taste the lavender flavor. The ube cold foam was delish. Asked for 75% sweetness. ~ Banana Matcha Latte is good. Banana isn't too strong. ~ Bagel w cream cheese was good but it was overpowering with a lot of cream cheese. It was made and warned, ready to be eaten. Lots of seatings inside. Cafe is very simple w lots of greenery plants. They have a kiosk where you self order and they have a register for cash only guests. Was able to get street parking off Commonwealth right in front of the Coffee shop. There's plenty of parking in the back but it's metered parking. So must pay in the parking lot.
