You have to ring the phone buzzer so that a limited amount of people can enter the building. Make sure to book an appointment since Choi fills up quickly! I'm usually pretty picky with how my hair is cut, especially since Asian hair can be tricky to cut but Choi has always been able to cut my hair based on my facial shape and give me pointers on how to style my hair that is personalized to me. She brought some hair dye with her to the salon. "Junior" served us. He applied the dye just as Judith requested. We waited 45 minutes. Then Junior washed and rinsed her hair and gave her scalp a massage as she was leaning back in her chair. She was enthralled. Finally he towel dried her hair and applied oil to her scalp. Judith was very pleased. He had done exactly what she requested and done it well. Finally, as we went to pay, Junior followed us and said "no payment necessary. I wanted to try out that dye in any case." He insisted that we need not pay this time. He did a great job and he did it for free. We were both very touched and grateful.

I opted for the "Deva Treatment" for curly hair that included a dry cut, wash and deep conditioning, then styling. The care that went into the cut and showing me how to style it moving forward was very much appreciated. I recommend the treatment as a first visit but future visits can only be the dry cut (making it only just more than double what I would normally pay ‍). Also, it took about 3 hours for the cut, wash, deep conditioning, & styling...another reason to only do the dry cut in the future. I'm not really sure I can justify the cost too much to return but I'm also not sure I can say that I've ever loved a haircut like I do this one. Four stars is mainly for price.
