They also added a riser and top to make future pump outs easy and accessible. I have also hired them to install a new clean out pipe to avoid rooftop snaking. If I could give no stars on this review, I would, but unfortunately, the lowest review is 1 star. This has been the most undesirable service from any septic company I have dealt with. They came out to clean out the septic tank when in fact, they only drained the water from the small access area but never opened the tank so I could view the progress in the main tank. After draining, they implied that the job was finished and requested for me to flush the toilets. When the toilets would not flush, they charged me an additional $100 to jet flush the main line. One week later I was having the same problem. The man came out, charged me another $200 for redraining it. Both men said that I needed a new drain field with the 2nd man saying it is $3000. At this time, I called the man that built the drain field for me a few years back and he was freed up with his business so he could come out and look the drain field over. At that time, he opened the main tank and it was full of sludge. I called the company, On My Way Septic, back again and said that they did not do the job correctly although they had charged me $425 for the draining (sludge included) service. They promised to be out that day and never showed, no matter how many times I called or had my daughter call. Finally at the end of that day, they said that they would not be able to come out that day but promised that the man would be out at 8:30 a.m. on Monday and that he would not be 1 minute past 8:30 a.m. At 8:40, he was not here and my daughter called to find out when he was to be expected. The owner, Natalie, stated that she would call the man and return my daughter's call. She never called my daughter back. My daughter called back in about 10 mins and found out that the man would be arriving in 10 mins. 20 mins later, he arrived. At this point, he gathered the equipment to clean the tank while the man that built the tank watched over him and had to give him $40 out of pocket for the man to gather the correct equipment and clean the tank properly. This is not integrity on a business' part and like my daughter stated to Natalie 2 days prior to it being resolved that her company was just trying to swindle an 83 year old widow out of $3000 for a new drain field, when in fact, it was because they did not perform their job correctly or honestly. read more
