And I was not disappointed at all. Cindy was my hygienist and had amazing bedside manner so to speak, and we had an awesome conversation as I had my teeth cleaned. Jen at the front desk was, is, and probably always will be an extremely pleasant, warm, and welcoming presence in the office. You will notice I actually got a chance to get to know the staff. And finally Dr. Gelo himself is skillful, super competent, and while I wasn't looking for this, to my relief, is a New Yawker. And the reason why I put such a premium on ppl from New York is because we have a work ethic and drive that I don't think exists to the same extent anywhere else in the country. The teeth whitening consisted of two twenty minute sessions with quick breaks in between to rinse and reapply the whitening gel. The procedure was painless and I remained relatively comfortable despite the intrusive tools involved. It's also a zoo when you go in there. It's very hectic and I've never seen the same hygienist more than once. They also have an annoying habit of pestering you. For example, I had a 1pm appt. I was parking the car and at 1:01pm I get a call asking if I'm still coming. However, on multiple visits I've waited in the lobby 15 minutes past the appointment time to be taken in. So they are fine with making you wait but 1 minute late on your part and it's an issue.
