It may be hot and steamy outside, but it is nice and cool inside. We had been in our home a few…read moremonths, when temps started to rise and we turned on our AC. Outside temp was up in the 90s and inside it would not cool under 79. We called Flex Air on a Thursday afternoon and they came out the next day. They took their time to review all the equipment. They listened to what our needs were. They ended up giving us 4 different options to choose from on how to proceed. They showed us a side by side preview of all 4 otptions and then went into details of each one. This included two with repairs and two with full right replacements. They took their time to answer all of our questions not shying away from the positives and negatives of each option. This gave us a clear picture on how we felt we needed to move forward. They came out the following Monday to put in the new equipment. During install they were polite and friendly, again answering any questions we may have had. We have been using it a week now and everything is running great and nice and cool. We also love the new thermostat. I appreciate them being upfront with us. Again listening to what our needs were and they did not try to push some high end products with a bunch of bells and whistles that we did not need. My wife and I are very happy with service and product. Thank you So much!

Willard Air, Heating, Plumbing, Electrical came out this morning for full system review, AC & furnace system components. Brilliant work; very thorough report walk-through with photos. Impressively professional and thorough. The guy George was awesome. They complemented the check up, up front. There aee some good catches that we can get fixed today, and extend the life of the compressor. Heartily recommend. We also joined the membership program to get on the bi-yearly checkups for AC and furnance in preseason times. Incredible turnaround! Well done all!!

Top Gun was such a great company, but they sold to a company named Willards who has completely…read moredestroyed this company. Willards should be ashamed of themselves....but they won't be because they are shady and have dragged Top Gun down to the gutter with them. I've had nothing but negative interactions with them since they sold, but I keep trying to give them a chance because of how awesome they used to be. I'll just address the latest one. I called them out to service my mini split. The Top Gun tech that came out was great. But couldn't find the problem because of course the mini split started acting right when he came out. A few weeks later, it started making a noise while it was off. I called again and they sent a guy from Willards. This guy (I won't say his name) told me that my levels (that were just checked a few weeks prior) were low. I said how is that possible. He said there's a leak and it would cost over $800 to find it. So I called the office to complain and the office called him. Mysteriously, the levels "returned to normal". I told the office I didn't feel comfortable with this guy, but they assured me everything was fine and let him complete the work and they'd give me $50 off for the "confusion". This guy proceeds to take my mini split apart and says that my fan was caked with dust (it was) and needed to be cleaned. I asked him to clean it and he says that he doesn't work on mini splits and doesn't feel comfortable doing it. Ummm then why was he touching it in the first place! So, I called the office back, they said they'd send a mini split specialist out on Thursday. Thursday comes and goes and no one shows up. I called Thursday night, talked to what I think was an answering service who said they'd have someone call me Friday. No call. Today, I called again. Now it's some AI answering system answering the phone. The system said they'd have someone call back. Again...no call. I'm livid. This once great company sold out when they sold and now I can't stress enough to stay away at all costs. The original Top Gun techs were awesome and you could count on them. The ones remaining need to leave before Willard's damages their reputation like they did Top Guns. It's very sad what has happened to them. Ever since they were sold I've had nothing but trouble with them.

All of my initial questions and possible pricing scenarios (of course, they could not quote an exact price) were discussed on the Yelp platform. The technician who showed up is Rueben and he was fantastic. He examined the systems and then explained all work that needed to be done and gave specific pricing for the work. The hubbs and I only had a specific amount to spend at this time on the system, so Rueben let me know what had to be done immediately to ensure we'd have AC throughout the summer, and then what we could wait on, but need to have done by early fall. We had to wait on some parts, but Rueben gave us a realistic time frame and let us know when he'd be back to install the parts. He was very thorough and I sincerely appreciated how well he explained everything he did. I will definitely be scheduling my follow up appointment in the fall, and I am now using Comfort Masters for annual maintenance on my ac/heating systems. Today, I was pleasantly surprised with my service from Poe Air. I never thought I'd hear a company care about its customer more than money. Instead of the normal "we need to come out for a service call and that will be $$$" Gary called and offered some FREE tips on what to try. He could have easily came out, charged me for the service, and I would have been none the wiser. What did I take away from this? First, if your reading this don't expect to get free stuff because this was not a huge major issue but a small draining issue. However, what I took from this is that Poe Air operates at the highest ethical level when it comes to customer service. If they say they need to come out, then they've gained my trust to where I believe them. I write a lot of reviews. Yet, I don't give my recommendation to many businesses. Poe Air is one of those companies that I not only recommend; but ask others to call first due to the trust I've gained in them.
