Charlie said "...can you bring it in tomorrow afternoon for me to check out? And if the part is available, it should be done in about 4 hours." Voila, like a message from heaven. I had ordered the part on Amazon and Charlie had the complete remove, repair, test, install done in 1 day! And, he took care of all the warranty paperwork. Unfortunately, Camping World in Kingston left me no choice. I feel obligated to warn other customers, especially first‑time camper buyers , to proceed with caution, or simply take your business somewhere that values transparency and appreciates you.Our experience as first‑time buyers was a nightmare from start to finish. Our salesperson was checked out, communication was poor, and the entire process felt disingenuous.When we arrived to pick up our unit, the finance manager walked us through the paperwork and kept repeating that certain items were "included." What he never said was that these items were part of a package we never agreed to purchase. On top of that, we were charged for items that were never installed.When I questioned the contract because the numbers didn't make sense, the salesperson went to get the sales manager. His attitude and arrogance seemed to compensate for his lack of problem‑solving skills. Instead of addressing the issue, he lied, blamed someone else, and then walked away to sit at his desk on his phone.I was left sitting in an office for an hour while they tried to figure out how to "correct" the situation. Eventually, they said they couldn't inconvenience the next customer, so they offered a shortcut solution -- not a real fix, just something to get us out the door.I hadn't seen the online reviews beforehand, but after living this experience, I can say the negative feedback you'll find online is not exaggerated. It's accurate.I do want to acknowledge Ron and Jen in Parts. They were knowledgeable, honest, and the only bright spot in an otherwise terrible experience.
