If I could give more than 5 stars I would. After having a great relationship with my stylist in San Diego for almost 5 years before moving out here, I have been to a few places trying to find someone who could help me like my hair again. It had completely lost its shape and was impossible to work with. Finally, I decided to try The Cutting Edge Salon. Nichole is a miracle worker. She carefully listened to me- asked me some key questions then proceeded to cut the shapeless, heavy, unattractive mess into something I love! What a relief! I have my hair back. I loved it walking out of the salon after she styled it, but even more important, I loved it after I styled it the first time. Can't say enough, SHE IS AMAZING! My whole experience at the salon was great, from the front desk person I spoke with about my particular hair challenge and scheduling needs, to the cleanliness and pleasant environment of the salon, to the choice of products that I might like. If I could, I would give it no stars. This review is for the barber shop next door. I came in right at 9 a.m. when they opened. I tried to get there right when it opened so I wouldn't have to wait. Plus, I was thinking since no one was there but my son, the barber would take her time and do a good job on my son's hair. Boy...was I wrong. I asked for a bald fade with a little on the top, and even showed her a picture of what I wanted. When she got done it looked okay, but then when I got in the car I noticed my son had a few small plugs in the back of his head. She didn't do a bald fade or line him up in the front. I could have done that job myself, and I don't know how to cut hair. If you go to this barber shop and an older caucasian woman wants to give you a cut...pass. read more

I love going to the salon for a trim , the ladies there do a amazing job. The atmosphere is great, it looks great, its very pleasant and the music is fun. Nice place for us ladies to relax. I enjoy my mommy time at the salon. I take my 3 boys ages 3 to 13 there for haircuts to Mike and Liz. They both are phenomenal at their skill. I dont go any where else nor trust anyone else to do my boys haircuts are patient with my 3 yr old son bobby that can be a handful. I usually make appointments , or walk in . The wait is worth it. I use to go to the 5 dollar shops before i did business with the cutting edge, i sure did learn that $5 will cost me more and my poor kids had horrible haircuts/ buzz cuts . Thanks again read more

I come here quite often to get my hair done( the barber shop side) and I've had nothing but pleasant experiences. My main barber I always wait for is Liz. She is incredible, such professionalism and hospitality. She always knows what I want even if I don't. The wait time for me isn't usually bad but that's because I set up appointments with Liz. But times I just walk in it's about 15-20 min wait which isn't bad at all for a walk in salon. Very clean and feels like your neighborhood barber shop. If anyone is looking to get a fresh cut I highly recommend this place and Liz. She is good at what she does and so welcoming. And a good plus is you can play pool while you wait. I take my son to see Liz who works for the barber shop all the time!! We've been there 3x now and I don't take him anywhere else! His first time with her was when he was almost 18 months nd now he's almost 2 yrs! She is great with him! So patient and careful sonce he screams nd shakes! She is always trying to soothe him and enaure him everything will be ok! She always does a great job with his hair!! Cuts a great length nd the fade nd edges are always great!! I used to go to another barber shop over in San Jacinto, but it got too complicated trying to make my schedule work with a barber I liked. So I started going to Liz a few months back, and she provides top notch service and always does my fade the way I like it! The best part is how she takes appointments and provides very personalized service that is above and beyond any stylist or barber I've ever been to. The shop has a nice vibe, too! I went to get my haircut at The Cutting Edge for the first time I was really impressed with the skills this Latino lady had name Liz she does a really good bald fade and lined up and this is a black man let you know it's gets a little busy so I suggest you make appointment do not expect to walk in and get quick service they're really busy then again if you ever been to a barbershop you know how it works thank you so much Liz I appreciate the fade I will definitely be back and send my friends read more

I love this place! Although, I do only come here to get a fill for my acrylic set with Carolina. She is amazing! I initially came here because the last place I was getting my nails done at just wasn't that great and the last straw was when my nails were all different lengths and shapes. Today was my first time going into the cutting edge for the barber side. Liz did an amazing job on both of my boys. They are the ages 3 and 1 which by no means is an easy age to work with when cutting hair. She did so well that my 3 year old was falling asleep as she cut his hair. I stop by every 2-3 weeks for my haircut . Joanna usually does it at the salon and does a great job, even trims up my brows and mustache at times, and not to mention the hairwash or what i like to call a massage! i do sometimes stop by the barbershop as well . Ish did an amazing job with my hair. I walked in with a bad at home bleach job and he not only color corrected it, he made it amazing by adding other colors to compliment it.
