Horrific my thousand dollar Moncler jacket is compliantly RUINED! And I had a broach on my trench coat which is missing now.. mind you I bought the trench with the broach I'm not sure how they managed to take or rip it off! As a bonus there will be additional stains which were not there prior to getting dry cleaned! AVOID AT ALL COST! read more

So, totally convenient to my hotel to walk over and do laundry. Pretty small & prices are ok. But when they picked up they couldn't find my laundry to drop back off. Do not use this place for laundry or dry cleaning, they ruined $290 value of sweaters 2 months ago and do not want to discuss with me on this issue. I come back to speak with a manager few times but unfortunately no one want to take a blame on few item that shrank. I can understand that mistakes happens and I appreciate more a place that willing to work with their clients to fix it. Absolutely terrible customer service, it is a thieving and racist establishment. I accidentally put excess coins in the wash machine and let one of the attendants about a mistake (I was doing 3 separate loads). The guy initially ignored me and walked away - I asked him again, if he can do anything about it. He said it's my fault (very rudely) and there is nothing he can do, the money is already in there. Then he subsequently said 'how do I no you are not lying' about it...mind you he had just exchanged a $10 bill for quarters for me and I am there every week. Eventually I gave up with him and walked away. Half hour later I come back and get quarters from another guy (cause need to dry the 3 loads but had already not planned on coming back to this place). I spoke to him and let him know its best practice to not call your customers liars and do absolutely nothing when you have an issue (he overheard the conversion earlier). He neither did anything about the situation and started going on about how you have to see it from both sides...then for some reason starts a story about how when black people come in and try to lie to them about issues...and I cut him off immediately not letting him continue his unnecessarily racists story. I won't be going here again and will let me neighbors know about this place. read more

AVOID AVOID AVOID! I now call Plan 452, "the shitty laundromat down the street where the mean lady who yells at people works." I dropped off a jacket I needed dry cleaned for an event the next day. They assured me it would be back in the morning, by 9am. Cut to the next day, when I go to pick up said jacket at noon. A different woman is at the counter. I handed her my slip. She looked up sighing, and yelled, "No. Never. ALL DRY CLEANING BACK AFTER 4PM." I asked for my jacket back. It seems they don't actually do the dry cleaning there. They ship it to some place in Queens, so it was unretrievable. She refused to believe that the man who was there the day before would have told me something different. I tried to bargain and be nice and figure out how I could get it, or have her call the guy who'd given me the wrong information, but she was nothing but a bitch about it. As I had to be at this event at 4pm, and had a full day of work ahead of me, I was up a creek without an outfit. Thank god for good friends... a girl from work offered to go get my jacket and bring it to me so I was fully dressed by the time other guests arrived. No thanks to the shitty laundromat down the street where the mean lady who yells at people works. read more

This place is a dirty craphole. There are homeless people coughing all over and the place is FILTHY. Do NOT go here. Once was enough for me. Never again. I'm afraid to even wear my clothes now that's how disgusting this place is. I think I'll take them to another laundromat and just dry them for a while to kill whatever they might have picked up from this nasty place. When you walk into most laundromats, they smell like clean laundry. THIS place smelled foul...like the dirty homeless guy that was stinking up the whole place and they just let him cough up god knows what kind of filth all over the place. TB, who knows? UGH. I know people complaint a lot about this place and i agree.Do not pay for what you did not pay for like returning dirtier cloths even substandard, inferior quality after you paid to get your cloths squeaky clean.You can always return it and they will happily redo it again.No complexity here.Call them up and explain what happened. no point adding another stress. You will always find a spare shirt to wear in your closet i am sure,coz its the way how New Yorkers do. Let the local small businesses survive or use High Profile Madam Paulette or Maurice Cleaner Corp.because they understand and communicate better, and the price is exhorbitantly way high.But you get what you pay for. Again !! and Again !! BOH is always those people, maybe better management and strict procedures of working. This place is expensive for doing such a crappy job. I only went here b/c it is super close to where I live. Big mistake. No thanks to these people. My white blazer is DIRTIER than when I took it to them. Black marks on the sleeves. Didn't notice until I bought it home. I had to wear it so I couldn't take it back and I just ended up rolling up the sleeves. But truly, how do clothes come out dirtier than when they were dropped off?? read more

Very small but the attendant is very helpful, they also use this laundromat as their laundry business. You can drop off your laundry and pick it up. From what I saw they are very meticulous about folding everything perfect. They have lots of perfectly filled bags with their customers clothes packed up on shelves. Perhaps I should have used their service instead of doing my own. read more

I don't use their laundromat, however I do use their "laundered shirt" service. At first, it was a great deal. It's only $2/shirt. HOWEVER, for every five dress shirts I drop off, they break a couple buttons total (usually on the sleeves). They aren't even cracked. It looks like someone took a hammer to it. This may seem miniscule, but try buttoning your cuffs without a button. It doesn't work and means I have to re-sew a new button which wastes my time. Do you really think I like to sew 2-3 buttons a week? Nope. I have better things to do. I think. I tried to explain my situation, but the guys there don't speak English. Not a big deal. So, I left my name and phone number and told the guy to have the manager call me. No call. Not cool. read more

I've dropped off laundry here for a basic wash-and-fold probably 20 times and every time has been fantastic. The way they fold and package clothes must be an art form. I recently moved away from this area and miss this laundromat so much. I've never had an issue with any shrinking (not sure if this helps at all, but I put anything I worry will shrink in wash bags) or stains. The one time I attempted doing my own laundry, all my white clothes came out with horrid black streaks on them, so either Plan 452 splits laundry into whites and colors at no extra cost or their detergent/machines are better than mine? Either way, they did my laundry better than I can. Please move to Midtown East, because the laundromat near me now sucks. :( read more

Clean and affordable. Lots of things to do while you wait. Plastic laundry bag costs so bring your own if you do your own wash.

this place saved my life-- when i was half way shot down at the laundry room in my building, first by a broken and clogged washer that left all my clothes soaked in water, second and shortly after, by 2 flying cockroaches the size of a shoe. and when i had to fly out of the city early next morning. the rude yelling woman was also nowhere in sight, only a soft-spoken thai man who smiles at me like drunken noodles. read more

Absolute garbage, and rude to boot. Brought in four shirts for laundering, and they were returned with large, visible stains on three of them. Worker called me a liar, saying that I must have known about them since I looked through the shirts (I could see the first stain from ten feet away). Bottom line: This place is great if you want your pristine white shirts to have that hip "distressed" look and/or if you enjoy being mistreated by staff. -4/1000 stars. read more
