Will ABSOLUTELY NEVER do business with Charlie again. "Lost" my appointment that I made on his own website, then repeatedly confused my service request with another person (because it's impossible for two people with Honda CR-Vs to put in appointments around the same time). Finally showed up only to have again gotten the order mixed up (had the wrong tires). Left and came back later, did the work without ever telling me there was an issue. Only as he was running my credit card did he tell me that the original tires I'd requested were out of stock, so he "upgraded" me at no extra charge - paid exactly what was quoted on his website. He never told me what tires he'd supposedly "upgraded" me to. After he left and I received the receipt with the product info that he'd installed, I got back on his website to find that the tires he'd sold me were actually a few bucks cheaper than the ones I'd gotten the quote for - and came with NO mileage warranty (which is why I didn't select those tires in the first place). So the "upgrade" I supposedly got meant that I overpaid for the tires he gave me, as he charged me the price for the tires I originally requested. Keeps insisting that he emailed me about the tires having been out of stock, but he didn't email ME - apparently he emailed the OTHER CR-V customer. The CR-V is the 6th most popular vehicle in the US - it shouldn't be impossible to keep one work order separate from another. I was in a position where I NEEDED new tires the day before a business trip and he saw a woman alone who would be too dumb to call him on his lies. Got VERY defensive when I had my husband call to sort this out and repeatedly lied to him about what he'd supposedly told me regarding the work order. I usually love to support small businesses, but Charlie is an absolute liar and underhanded businessman who looks to take advantage of a customer in a tight situation- especially a female one. read more
