A freaking bee in my coffee.
    Abby P.

Omg! I normally go here but for the first time I had a not so grand experience. I freaking almost swallowed a bee. I'm not sure how it happened or what but I'm sure an employee or something would have seen this bee. As I was drinking at work I thought I was sipping on what felt like corn shells I guess?? IT WAS BEE SKIN. shook the cup around and there was A FREAKING BEE IN MY COFFEE. IM NOT ALLERGIC. but what if??? Anyway, here's a picture of the bee mid shake. Yikes.

On our way back from Austin to San Antonio, we found this coffee spot and were very pleased with our experience and coffee! Flavorful and decently priced! We got mediums that looked more like large! The staff/cashier was very friendly and helpful. This coffee spot is just a drive thru (no type of seating) so it's convenient to grab some coffee for the road! 10/10 and will be returning to try some other items on the menu!

Staff is so friendly! I enjoy coming here when I'm in the area. Their regular coffee is good and they make a great London fog tea. I've ordered their lemon poppy seed muffin top and found it delicious and fresh tasting. If you happen to have your furbaby - ask for the pup cup! My little mini dachshund loved hers

We ordered two iced coffees, and My Husband told the girl at the window to please make them extra extra sweet she said OK. By the way, she was not talkative at all, and she had little blue stars, stuck all over her face and did not make very much eye contact and she didn't talk very much & she didn't smile . I ordered the iced medium Carmelo and it literally had no sweetener in it at all. It was very plain. I asked her if she could please add some simple syrup into it to make it sweet. She took it from My Husband, went over to another lady that was making drinks and said something about having to add simple syrup into my drink. She wasn't happy about it. It was obvious by what she was saying and the look on her face. This is very poor customer service. We usually go to on the grind on Walzem Road where we get exemplary service, and I will not be coming back to this on the grind ever again. Please train your employees to be better and do better.

Second Drink. CARMELO!!! IS MY HUBBY NAME!

Went here for the first time since being in San Antonio 6 months. Loved it Was with my Husband his name is Camelo and they have a drink foe his name! Omg so cool!

Definitely a hidden GEM! This has to be the best coffee shop. You can taste the freshness! It doesn't taste fermented. Is Dark and strong just like I like my men! I will be back. I ordered the Vanilla Americano with almond milk! Vegetarian/ Plant based friendly. They also give you a rewards card, after buying 10 coffees you'll get one free.

Best small coffee shop ever. Beats the big named coffee companies by a land slide. I haven't had anything that I haven't loved from OTG!

We also took a rosemary homemade bread home that was great too, so if you are in the area go ahead & check this place out, staff was great & of course we are coming back to try some more pastries!

I parked under a tree & entered around the corner. Lots of pastry selections with coffee selections as well. I took my time as a lot looked yummy. I chose a savory pizza bread which had the choice of Pepperoni or just cheese. I chose the Pepperoni. Saw a Cruffin so I asked the clerk what it was filled with & she said Strawberry. Chose that & a featured Lavender VaLatte with Oat Milk. The clerk put the pastries on an aluminum tray lined with a wax paper sheet but I had her bag my Cruffin. She proceeded to make my Lavender Latte & I saw her pouring regular whole milk in the frother so I asked if that was Oatmilk & she stopped herself & said "No it's not. Sorry, I didn't write the order down" or something to that effect. I sat down by the one soda while she made my drink which was smooth & subtly lavender. The pizza bread didn't have a chewy bread texture and was soft. My friend arrived and ordered a large Americano, a Cruffin, Tart -pastel de nata & savory tomato/cheese pizza twist Danish pastry. She loved the pastel de nata as it reminded her of Portuguese tarts. We sat on the wooden tables with benched seating & chairs. The sofas are soft but one fabric chair had stains on it. There are other small tables & barstools with counter seating. Nice natural light flows in. Bathrooms were clean & additional seating was outside on a deck. I could see a nice party outside except the train runs across the street so that could be an issue as they blow their horns coming thru. They sell merch & preserved jellies & honey too.
