I have seen this food truck on my Facebook so of course I had to try it! Today it was at the Fred Meyers off Glenwood and Chinden which is down the road from my house. You can't miss this food truck! It's vibrant in color. I did try to find a menu online but I couldn't locate one. I did finally get to check out the menu once I got here. Pretty self explanatory, fish and chips. They also have clam chowder as an option but unfortunately they won't have it till February. Bummer since soup is so perfect in this cold weather. Today I ordered just the fish with a side of slaw. The fish came out beautifully! They were fried to a nice golden color. You get 3 pieces of cod. Biting into the fish, it's crunchy and flaky. But one you start hitting the middle of the fish, the batter isn't as crispy. I wish they would sprinkle a little salt after it's fried. It needed just a hint of salt to it. They do give you a side of tarter sauce. It does add more flavor but you can only slap so much tarter sauce on it. I'm going to take the rest home and just try lemon and salt flakes on it. The coleslaw looked fresh. It came with a side of sesame dressing. It was good and clean tasting. The crew was really nice. I did have an ordering mis hap. They were kind and tired to fix it. My friend and I just ended up resolving the issue ourselves. Overall it was good and I'm glad I got to try it.

When I went to the food truck there was no line and was able to order quickly. It was around 1:45 so did not expect a line at that hour. Ordered just the 3 piece cod and chips. Did not have to wait long, maybe 5-7 minutes. The food was hot and fresh when I arrived home 5 minutes later. Fries I think are frozen but not sure. They were just okay. The fish was excellent, golden and flakey. Three nice size pieces. A little pricey for me at 18.00 but good for a treat once in a while. One small container of tarter is included which is a bit ridiculous for 3 large pieces of fish. Definitely not enough. All in all give it a try.

Delicious. We try to catch them every time that they are in town. The quality is always consistent.

Complete ripoff $18 for 3 little pieces of fish and they charge extra for tarter sauce. Overpriced

The fish was good. The fries I could do without. Look at their schedule to see when they'll be in town

Service was expedient as could be expected but, did take about 20-39 minutes. Food truck so, not much ambience.

Wow! This was sooo delicious…read more Had the birria quesadilla this week. It was loaded with tender beef, and perfectly melted cheese. A cup of tasty sauce and jalapeño slices on the side make for a delightful meal at a Boise Neighborhood Concert in the Park. The only knock - spendy.

My friend and I were having coffee at Form and Function a couple weeks ago. We had talked about…read moregetting food from Crisp. We didn't have time to grab food that day. So of course we made new plans, made sure our schedules are were open so we can snag a meal after a round of coffee. Today was that day! I did check out the menu online the night before. I like to see what they have and what their menu entails. The red curry coconut noodles really caught by eye! Noodles, broth, curry!?! 3 of my favorite things in a bowl! So,I went to the food truck feeling 100% in my food choice. Well, the red curry noodles were not an option so I had to look over the menu again. Total bummer since I had my heart and stomach set on it. After reading the menu board over and over again and it was still early enough that ordering breakfast wasn't weird, I decided on the Croque madame. Grilled ham and cheese with an egg, it sounded good. My sandwich did not look like it came out of a food truck. It also doesn't look like it should be in a to go container. My sandwich was a work of art! The egg was cooked perfectly. The fondue sauce was snow white. The pieces of cilantro added a beautiful color to it and was nicely sprinkled all over. It was just too pretty to eat! This sandwich is messy so the fork and knife that was provided for me was used! The bread was very soft and fresh! It toasted and buttery. There was so much ham! It made the sandwich very hearty. The egg yolk was runny and jammy. The cheese fondue was rich and savory. The heirloom tomatoes added a nice freshness to the sandwich. All together it was a very thick sammy. All the flavors were fantastic but it did get overwhelming to eat after few bites. I enjoyed the fondue but it was a lot for me. The fondue is very rich and you add all the other elements and it gets to be too much. If I order this again, I'll probably order it without the fondue. There's already cheese in the sandwich so it was overwhelming with the cheese sauce added to it. My friend ordered the chipotle breakfast sandwich and it looked amazing. It was simple and it looked like something I would have really enjoyed vs what I had ordered. I did ask the gentleman in the food truck if they will have the curry noodles anytime soon. With the cold weather coming, they are anticipating the noodles too be back. I look forward to that! I haven't frequented many food trucks but this one has really set the bar high! The quality of the ingredients used were fantastic and fresh. The service was great. The food truck itself was pretty neat. The location is fun and chill. I know we will be back and I look forward to having that bowl of noodles. If not noodles then I'm sure I will be able to find something that will be delicious.

I have visited this food truck several times but only purchased food once. The Tri-Tip Bowl, which is the item I want to try, is always sold out. In addition to the regular menu, they always have a few specials. These photos are from my visit on 10/31/20. Here is what I ordered: Choripan ($7) - This is a traditional sandwich with homemade chorizo sausage. I got the El Gaucho, which comes with lettuce and tomato. It is on homemade bread. While I enjoyed the homemade chorizo, which is completely different than Mexican or Basque chorizo, there was simply too much bread for me. This is a huge sandwich that can satisfy two. Empanadas ($2.50) - These are available in beef, chicken and veggie. I got one of each. I liked them all, but preferred the beef. They come with a side of chimichurri sauce. Alfajor ($1.50) - This is a traditional sandwich cookie filled with dulce de leeches, a creamy caramel confection made from milk and sugar. Caramel isn't my favorite, but anyone who enjoys it would like this. Flan Evita ($4.50) - This is basically Chocoflan, which is a combination of chocolate cake on the bottom with flan on top. Mine was a bit overcooked, but delicious!
