I leave to go get her. I WALKED IN TO TWO TECHS SHAVING MY BEAUTIFUL DOUBLE COATED BABYS ENTIRE BACK AND SIDES!!! I yelled "STOP! what are you doing?!" I spoke to TWO DIFFERENT TECHS about ONLY NEEDING HER BUTT AREA TRIMMED! I said the morning of AND when I booked the appointment. then one of the techs has the audacity to say "yeah we were wondering why she was needing a medical grooming." SO WHY DID NOBODY CALL ME??? no one asked me or explained to me what was going to happen!!! clueless, dumb, and no one is in charge of these CHILDREN that "work" there making appointments. Then they go "since this was our mis understanding we aren't gonna charge you today." um, no shit you aren't? Absolutely unreal. The rudest people I've ever had at a vet office. I've been going here for almost 5 years, and never again. These people NEVER listen and NEVER explain anything. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE.

Unfortunately, a recent situation has made us decide to move our care elsewhere. Our dog has struggled with chronic UTIs since birth, and we have worked with this office for nearly two years to try and find the cause. At the vet's recommendation, we saw a specialist, who suggested an extended 8-week course of antibiotics due to the specific bacteria involved. The vet here agreed and prescribed what was supposed to be enough medication for the full 8 weeks. We were also told to drop off a urine sample at the end of the course. When the medication ran out, I brought in the urine sample and told the front desk we had just finished the 8 weeks. Several days later (close to a week later) we were told the medication should have lasted longer, meaning we unknowingly didn't get the full course. Therefore, the UTI has since returned. The office now seems to claim this was our fault, suggesting we gave too many pills, despite us following the prescription instructions exactly. To make matters worse, while our dog is now experiencing bloody urine, the focus has shifted to blaming us and promoting Purina dog food instead of urgently addressing her immediate medical needs. We are not opposed to considering a diet change--we've even tried in the past--but Purina alone will do little to stop the bleeding compared to completing a full, specialist-recommended 8-week course of antibiotics. I have since called the office three times after noticing we were shorted antibiotics and all the vet tech keeps bringing up is Purina dog food. . . All the while, my dog is bleeding profusely. This is a real shame, because we truly liked coming here. But based on our experience and other reviews, mistakes here seem to be met with blame-shifting rather than accountability. Thankfully, we're moving soon, and the new area has some great, well-reviewed vets. We're hopeful our dog will finally get the thorough, compassionate care she needs.

I found a beautiful puppy listed on the website " Fushia Girl " a mini goldendoodle i spoke to Jenelle 3 times before purchasing. She sent me the invoice for 3,900.00. Once I paid in full she texted me not thanking me for the payment but to complain she forgot to add on the $110.00 processing fee she gets charged when one uses a credit card. Although this was settled once she realized her error Jenelle advised she would pay for this fee along with the " training the pup received " I selected a pick up date see her website she charges $550.00 for pick up in Lee Massachusetts. Once a delivery date was set I received another text from Jenelle advising me to bring $675.00 in cash for the delivery driver. Big difference $550.00 to $675.00. I arrived early that day to pick up the puppy, no delivery company existed it was just her son. I pay the $675.00 was handed the pup and drove home the 2 hours. When finally was getting settled at home I noticed I was given the wrong dog. I also must add this pup was so shaggy, messy, matted and poor thng couldn't see with the amount of hair covering the eyes. I brought the pup to TWO pet specialists and was told this dog is NOT a Pure Goldendoodle this is closer to a Poddle. I contacted Jenelle Cole that same night at 732pm via text, expressed my concern to Jenelle Cole. Radio Silent, No Text, No Phone Call nothing. The next day at 130 pm I finally connected with Jenelle Cole owner of Bellaminidoodles.com. The reply I received " anyone who is not happy with the puppy they receive I always tell them to bring the puppy back to me " I remind her I live in Massachusetts and she lives in Rochester NY a 938 miles round trip. That day I spend 2 hours researching flight nanny, delivery companies, private flights out of the Beverly ma airport, thought about renting a car, looked into taking a bus to NY so many ideas but every idea I had and looked into would cost $650.00 at minimum to get the pup returned to NY. I finally decided I would drive my own car that is a lease to NY. I reached back out to Janelle and ask her if she would kindly return my $675.00 cash from the pick up delivery and I Will agree to drive the pup I have back to her home in Rochester NY. Her reply " I am not paying one penny for your expense to bring the pup back to me this is your responsibility " Text me when you are on your way, and hangs up on the phone on me. The next day at 4:42 am I got in the car and drove to NY. I arrived at 12:35 pm returned the pup back to Jenelle Cole. She begged me not to post any reviews. She asked me if I thought she was being fair I replied NO but showed zero compassion. All I wanted and still want is the delivery fee of $675.00 returned to me. Note again her sketchy website says her delivery fee to pick-up a pup is $550.00 so why was I was charged $675.00 is wild. I returned home that same night at 920pm. I drove 987 miles, drove a total of 14 hours, spent $140.00 on gas in one day a big loss for me. The next day Jenelle Cole texted me showing me pictures of the pup all well groomed saying she has been adopted for $3400. I submitted a complaint with the Attorney general office in NY thankfully they have a Lemon Law for Dogs. Waiting for the outcome, I just want my refund. #1 pic is the dog I purchased, #2 & 3rd picture is how I received the pup, shaggy, messy and not the same dog. Lastly her pups are not " Trained " so please beware and no I do not recommend bellaminidoodles.com. They advertise Goldendoodles but are selling Poodles. Note multiple negative reviews posted on bellaminidoodles.com most concerning her last positive review is not recent dated back to 2019. Could be family or friends posting a positive review.

A horrific experience with the new ownership that required a visit to my veterinarian after a week-long stay traumatized my little lady, and I chose to never use them again. That is until the (2nd) owner chose to sell the business to Graham and Kathleen - the newest owners of Puppy Love Playcare. Similar to the original owners, Kathleen and Graham also live on site. After learning of the new change in ownership, I chose to give them a call and spoke with Kathleen for quite some time. Kathleen was forthcoming and answered all of my questions. I then decided to give Puppy Love another try and am so thankful that I took the chance! My little old lady was terrified when we first pulled up and she realized where she would be staying. I'm sure she was remembering the trauma she had experienced with the previous owner. But after picking her up from that week-long stay, I couldn't have been happier. It took Kathleen and Graham a few days to get her to let down her guard and relax, but she finally did so. And she showed no signs of stress when it was time for her to come home. After such a positive experience, I chose to use Puppy Love again for a two night stay, with the same results. This time my little lady acclimated even faster and enjoyed herself even more. If you had previously used Puppy Love prior to Kathleen and Graham's becoming the new owners and are afraid to give it another try, either because of a bad experience or reading some of the horrible reviews posted during that period of time, I would suggest putting those fears aside and giving the new owners a try. While MVAH certainly isn't exempt from growing pains as with any business, it is our hope people understand that the growth comes from the need we all have to care for our animals. Their growth is a natural process a business faces when it does a good job and more people want to utilize their services. What defines MVAH to us is the quality of the staff; overall they are professional, knowledgeable and caring. We called and they took us right away. We had to make the difficult decision to let her go. The Dr. and staff were amazing with our kitty and with us. Dr. Murphy said a beautiful prayer as our girl said goodbye. They gave us the gift of time to say goodbye and made it as supportive as possible. EVERYONE at the practice was amazing and they didn't really know us. The next day we received a beautiful floral arrangement wishing us warm memories to ease our sadness. My total bill was $1,240.36 They don't do their own blood work so that was $344.50 for Chem and CBC to send out, X-rays $430.75 for two done awake, Medicine 4 Tabs 60mg Cerenia $87.80.One injection of Cerenia $114.40 plus another $49.71 to give the injection plus $5.20 disposal fee of syringe. $120.00 apparently to read x-rays by outside lab. Plus office call. I took my other dog to Cornell University. They never even charged these types of prices. I was given 14 tabs of Cerenia 60mg at Cornell they charged $98.00 They also gave my dog an injection at Cornell of Cerenia same amount given $50.00 and Cornell never charged extra for giving the injection or disposal fee. If Cornell were not two plus hours away I would go there.The markup on medicine at this Vets office is through the roof. As I stated before, I believe this office is owned by a Corporate Entity. It appears they are now charging for everything they can dream up and put a price on it. I am on a fixed income but I don't think anything like that matters. It's all about the money not people or pets.
