EXCUSE ME, I meant *line by line: 1. The 15 minutes call could have been a lot quicker if I ya'll could tell me what is included in that inspection. I dont think ya'll could have given a straight answer if your lives depended on it! 2. I was not comfortable paying the entire bill when I couldn't get a straight answer of what I was exactly paying for. However, I offered to pay half the night before and half after the work was finished. 3. If you recall, the whole point in getting a mobile mechanic was because I just started a job and I had a meeting in the morning with my director. Which I was very clear on calling ya'll back ASAP after the meeting. Ya'll agreed and decided to make the appt and set expectations that the work would be done. Saving best for last! 4. When I called afterwards to find out nothing had been done. I was scoffed at for asking, "so how do we proceed from here?" the reply, "ughhhh, were busy now." And then silence. There never was an offer to come back out later or even another day. So I think the one truth throughout the entire response from After Hours Auto ans Truck: I told them I am leaving a review of my experience. Guess they took that as a threat. When in reality my intent was to warn others of the awful experience I had with Afrer Hours Auto and Truck. If you treat people right then you wouldn't have to worry about someone leaving a review! When I had an older Jeep with some serious issues, including a terrible death wobble, they were always kind, understanding, and honest about what was going on. They never tried to upsell me, scare me into unnecessary repairs, or tell me something needed to be fixed when it didn't. They did the work that was needed and were always upfront about the condition of the vehicle. I eventually made the decision on my own to get rid of the Jeep because the ongoing repairs just weren't worth continuing to invest in it. I purchased a newer vehicle and initially started taking it to the dealership, but after seeing how expensive routine maintenance could be, I decided to go back to Kandi and Jason. I've been getting my oil changes and routine maintenance done with them ever since, and I plan to continue using them. Cars and repairs are expensive, and while none of us like seeing the bill, I'd much rather pay someone I trust who is honest, does the work correctly, and tells me things as they are. That's what I appreciate most about Kandi and Jason, they've always treated me fairly, never pressured me into unnecessary work, and have earned my trust. I highly recommend them.

We call and made an appointment to bring our car the next day. The folks at Wilhelm did a quick examination and brought us the bad or badder news. We had two quotes; one at $1900 and one at $1600. The difference being off brand components. Our service tech did give us a moment and we chose the lesser cost option. They told us that our car could be ready by 4pm that afternoon and they offered to take us home and pick us up when the car was ready. We really appreciated their offer (we live about 18 miles outside of Surprise). Their driver was friendly coming and going. The service was prompt; however as we drove off our engine and transmission were lurching. We made one stop and decided to immediately bring back our car back to the shop. The quickly took it back and we waited. They said they needed to drive it for about 10 miles to reset the computer engine system because it was self adjusting. We waited another 20 minutes and our car was ready again. We got in drove off and all seems good. In summary, Wilhelm Automotive was courteous, efficient, and responsive. Staff was all very friendly and we will bring back our car if we have other service needs. We did get a "free" sunscreen. My wife and I laugh and call it our $1600 sun shade.
