I recently got my car taken, for being 3 weeks late. I immediately looked up the laws of California and started to investigate. My next payment was not due until May 7, 2025, I kept in constant contact with the finance company to let them know that for our spring break we are not paid and that my scheduled payment would be a little late. After I came home for the evening on Friday May 2, 2025 and woke up the next morning and my car was gone. I knew according to the laws of california that the company had 48-72 hours to inform me of the seizure. I knew the finance company would call me, which they didn't. On Wednesday I called them and was informed that my car was seized and they wanted a double payment $408+28(late fee)+$408 in addition to late fees, repossessing fee and I needed to contact National recovery and I would have to pay them $455 plus daily storage fees. I did not receive notice of seizure until May 9th. The company is in LA. The recovery company took my car to Los Angeles. When I spoke to On time Financial the total was $1200. She did not mention the car was taken to LA. I recently reviewed my contract and Kars PLUS added a vehicle on my contract as a trade-in and It was owned by a finance company. These people know it is difficult to retrieve a vehicle with all these fees especially if I was slightly late. But they make it nearly impossible to get the car back. These people have done this to countless people and it is time for them to be called out on their deceptive practices. read more

Trying to get help with my recently deceased mother's vehicle that has a lien with with this company. Ferdinand repeatedly tried to get me off the phone without helping. He finally said he would get in touch with his legal team and follow up after I refused to accept his attempts to dismiss me and my inquiry. He called me back a week later and said they are not interested in helping me because they have broken even on the deal and are not losing any money & that I need to get a lawyer. I explained I am in another state and the car is in possession of someone who my mother (the owner) had a restraining order against. I would not recommend this place to anybody this places not a real business the manager and the lady said answer the phone are rude and do not know how to run a business at all. They are super money-hungry I was on the turning away I simply let them know that I will be paying my car on the 1st of January which is a week away but the manager wanted the money now and this is my first payment I ever missed next thing you know the car is being repossessed it's December 30th 2017 and I think that's a little ridiculous I would advise everyone not to ever do business with them go somewhere else that knows how to do real business properly it'll save you time and money they don't care about you or your financial situation even if your 5 days late on your car I have never heard of No Place doing that other places will work with you but not them. read more

Yesterday I had the worst experience with this company. I say company because workers reflect their company. I called to ask for an extension. I got denied because of policy, which is fine, but I also spoke to the most rude representative. Instead of explaining the policy, she continued into saying personal things like "Well you have family, and friends. Borrow money from them" I kept telling her no, I do not. Because I really don't. She was beyond rude. Continued the conversation in that direction, which is very unprofessional. And when I finally had enough of that I said (not yelling, not raising my voice) "maybe you have friends have family, but I do not. Thank you for the judgement..I will try to see what--" and before I was done with the sentence, I heard a click. She hung up on me!!! She hung up on me after SHE was being rude. Could I give a negative 5 stars? This must be the worse place of business I have ever had the misfortune to conduct business with. The women who work the office have either never received any training on how to provide customer service, are misrable people who need some happiness in their life or BOTH. I was told they were too busy to look for my title and that they had other things to do. They dont care about and dont want to bother with their customers. They have already successfully financed a car at exhorbadent interest rates that they hope their customers default on so they can repo the car and sell it again. Why on earth would they want to help their customers with anything else?! Owner of this business obviously does not care, otherwise he would have made an effort two years later after the last negative post to make a change. What he cares about is lining his pockets. The office personal is astonishing out of this world the most horrible people ever! They literally told me they aren't there to work with people going through a hardship. They literally lied about the process to get the car out of repo, so that it had to stay in 3 days longer. They flat out told me that helping people who cannot pay their bills or are having a difficult month isn't a priority for them, and therefore don't feel they are obligated to return calls or give accurate information. It isn't their place to judge people. That isn't what they are paid to do. Or is it? Literally late 1 time in 3 years. I am talking wasn't even 1 day late in 3 years. Got my car back because I called another bank who was just as disgusted with their integrity as I am, and helped me get accurate information on how to get my car out before it was there another 3 days. Overall never had issues with this car financing company but a certain rep by the name of Karina definitely does not provide good customer service. People do go through financial hardships and as far as I knew communication and understanding helps both parties. I didn't call her to have her tell me how to manage my finances or have her figure out in what I spend my money on. I called her for assistance and instead I got a yelling person on the other side of the phone who left me on hold for 7 minutes. I had to recall and speak to the supervisor! Now I understand that they are a company but if you want to get good ratings and referrals then you should hire compassionate and qualified representatives with good customer service not shitty people who only care about their sales or numbers. People do face financial problems it is real life. All I know is that once I'm done paying this car loan I will never finance through them even if ya free! read more
