The owner (YURI) is so SO gracious, very communicative, and the service as prompt and efficient as you could possibly hope for in a top-level executive car service. I purchased a voucher through Gilt City. Called and made round trip reservations for my mother to be picked up at LAX and dropped off at my house. Everything was confirmed. My mom arrives at 11:30 pm and no limo. I call On Time Limo and the guy who I made the reservation with says there's no reservation. When I protest, he says that he vaguely remembers me, but doesn't have a reservation. Maybe I was supposed to call him back to confirm... No I wasn't. Sloppy business and he made absolutely no effort to correct his mistake. I guess because he knew the voucher was already paid for, he thought I would have no choice but to accept it. Three of my friends and I bought a Travel Zoo coupon for a wine/limo tour in Malibu and was very disappointed by the service. A day before the trip, On time limo called me to confirm reservations for Saturday and said they were charging us $30 for tip plus $18 tax PER PERSON. We had 4 people in our party, bringing it to a total of $192 for tip. Come to later find out, they were charging the other party in the limo $20 for tip + $18 tax PER PERSON. They had 3 people in there party, bringing it to a total of $114. Tax is 9.5% in CA, so tax based on $69 is NOT $18. Rather, $6.40. This was a "HIDDEN FEE" that should have been mentioned on the voucher or fine print. So why did they charge them $20 for tip and us $30 for tip if we both bought the same travel deal? The voucher stated "You have purchased this voucher directly from Travel Zoo, so no additional payment beyond tax and gratuity is required. PLEASE TIP ON THE FULL VALUE OF THE PACKAGE." Which to me, means tip is optional and should be up to the client to decide on how to tip based on the service. If I am happy with the service given, I definitely do not mind tipping a satisfied service, however we were forced to pay this amount before we could even get into the limo! On top of that, I made my reservations at noon and they were constantly calling me every minute from 11:45am asking where we were. Yes, I admit we were 15min late because of traffic and we apologized for that, however they charged us $50 for being late! SO, all together they scammed out of us $242 EXTRA NOT INCLUDING THE $69 we initially paid for the deal. This company is a SCAM and I HOPE YOU NEVER WORK WITH THEM AGAIN ON ANY DEALS. They were very unprofessional and by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I used a voucher that promised $80 of service for $39. What they didn't tell me is that the required extras would add up to $27 - when I called about that, they said it was tip and PARKING. I pointed out that the guy did not meet us, that it took him 15 minutes to pick us up after we called, so obviously there was no parking required. They just said "it's required". I felt that was deceptive - if I was paying for parking, I expect to be met at baggage claim. The driver was very nice and efficient and so that's the two stars. read more

This was the worst transportation I have ever had. I purchased a deal through BuyWithMe for transportation to/from the airport, thinking it would make for a hassle free trip over Thanksgiving. The voucher said "Taxes, airport fees, and gratuity are not included. Please tip on full value of the service, not the voucher price (average tip is 20% of the original value)." so I anticipated some extra fees, and planned to leave a tip. I didn't think that the 20% tip would be required since I wasn't ever told ahead of time it would be. I probably wouldn't have minded paying the additional 20% tip if we had actually received good service on our trip to the airport, but the service was beyond terrible. The driver first got on the freeway going the opposite direction of the airport, and we had to tell him to turn around. He then missed the next freeway entrance and tried to take the wrong freeway. Eventually we gave him directions to the correct onramp and to the airport. Fortunately we got to the airport on time, but this is not what I would expect when I hire a driver, and I certainly would never tip 20% by choice on this service. read more

This is a horrible limo service company! Beware! They are money hungry frauds! They will charge you hidden fees that are optional and force you to pay it when you do not have to. We bought a Travel Zoo voucher for $69 for a wine tour with On Time Limo and he wanted to charge us $32.00 for tip and 20% tax. First of all, he charged $2.00 over the amount. Second, tip is how much you want to give - not a standard 20%. Third, what is he taxing us on? This is a service not a product. The driver drove recklessly through the canyons. While we were wine tasting, he and came in threatening to charge us additional money if we did not leave the winery at that instance because we were 10 minutes behind. We were running behind because they only provided 30mins to eat lunch and wine taste. That is not enough time. They did not take us to the beach as the voucher promised, did not provide a full bar or chips and beverage with our lunch. Wine tasting is suppose to be enjoyable, relaxing and fun - it was a nightmare with this company. I have written a complaint letter to Travel Zoo for having business dealings with shady business and asked for my money back. read more

I purchased a Groupon for limo service from on time limo. The representative kindly explained to me that this was not for a limo, but for a sedan which holds 4 people in the car, which was fine since it was only two of us going to LAX airport. It was nice that he explained to me the fine print, the extra $27 dollars on top of the $39 Groupon. I hate it when some groupon deals have hidden fees. I appreciate knowing everything even though I read it thoroughly. The driver came 5 minutes early and asked for us to come down. The driver opened the door for us and there was even a small bar thing in the middle with drinks...not a real bar but one of these small center isle things. The driver, Atas was really nice and respectful. When he dropped us off he asked if we wanted to be picked up as well. I called the company and they honored the Groupon price on the return trip as well a few days later. Overall it was a very good experience and affordable too. The guy who answered the phone was so helpful and accomodating from the first minute I called-- I ordered for later that same day and they didn't have any issue accommodating me. The driver was nice and very prompt!! Got to appreciate that. I ran into a slight jam during the holidays and On Time Limo came though as a better than expected option. It was late afternoon one Saturday and a couple of friends and I were hanging out before we went to a company party in Sherman Oaks. Our DD called and told us they weren't going to make it... sad, because we had already "started the party". Someone said taxi, another said they're friend recently used On Time and we could probably get a driver and sedan at a good price. We would show up in style, and not have to wait around for anyone if we decided to leave early and take the party somewhere else. We called, surprisingly a person picked up, so many recordings and automated systems these days. Spoke to the owner and told him we needed someone for about 4 hours and would be traveling from Woodland Hills to Sherman Oaks, possibly a few places adjacent, and back. Prices he quoted were good compared to what we were seeing online. Driver was early, and accommodating, and a few destinations later we were safely back where it all started. On Time was a great alternative to having a DD for the night, and much better service! read more

A group of friends and I purchased a voucher on Travelzoo for limo transportation to a few wineries in Malibu with lunch included. The deal consisted of a 3 hour transportation, sandwiches, chips, beverages, and tastings at 2 wineries. All for $69, awesome right? Not worth it. We only got to spend 20 minutes at each winery. That's how long it took us to walk to the bar. As soon as we received our first flight, the driver was waiving at us that it was time to go. Same thing happened at the second location. We literately had to stuff our sandwiches because we felt so rushed. We never got our drinks or chips. On top of that, they don't tell you that you're forced to pay a 20% tip per person on the full price PLUS tax. Which would have been about $50 per person on top of the $69. One of our friends called on-time limo to complain and told them that we would tip how we wished. We ended up giving the driver $25 per person (total of $200 or so). The driver asked us if "we weren't ashamed of that" and called us "motherfuckers." Lol On time limo should be called one time limo because that is the last time I will ever use them. read more

I saw the $39 vouchers on KGB Deals and thought I would give them a try. I appreciate punctuality and when a driver arrives a little before the scheduled pickup time, but when I used On Time Limo for the first time, the driver arrived more than a few minutes early. In fact, he arrived exactly one month early. After making arrangements via email for another trip, an airport pickup, the driver called my wife to ask the time, date, and location of the pickup, which I thought was odd because it was all in the email he was calling about. This was not the first phone call made to ask about the details. It seems as if they do not like to write information down and have a horrible memory. Before flying back to LAX, where OTL was supposed to pick us up, we called the driver to let him know that our flight had been delayed by an hour. He seemed confused by the time because he said he had us scheduled to be picked up a few hours earlier than our original arrival time and that we were flying on a different airline and landing at a different terminal. I would have thought that after so many calls to ask us about our appointment details, they would have had it right, but I guess I should just applaud them for at least getting the date and airport correct. After correcting the driver about the details and telling him of the delay, he told us that it was not a problem and for us to call him when we landed. Rather than having On Time Limo waiting for us when we arrived, there was a voicemail instead, informing us that they would no longer be picking us up. So, we were left at the airport at 2am without a ride. In the event that On Time Limo actually picks you up, here is what you can expect: 1) the driver will be holding a gps/traffic update device in one hand and the stylus to operate that device in the other hand, 2) when the driver is not using said device, the driver will be conducting business on his cell phone without any handsfree device. In short, the driver will be distracted for most of the trip, affecting his driving. If you see, a $39 special or any other deal, don't expect that to be the final price. They will add $27 at the time of service for taxes and tip. Yes, the tip is a mandatory 20%. When talking to anyone from On Time Limo on the phone, there is a definite language barrier. The representatives have a very heavy accent, making it difficult to understand what they are saying. We tried emailing them the second time in order to avoid this issue, but they called us upon receiving the email, so this was futile. Language could explain some of their confusion as to appointment details, though I highly doubt it is the sole explanation. Nonetheless, On Time Limo desperately needs to hire a receptionist with better English skills. Two word summary of this review: STAY AWAY. read more

I also bought the Travelzoo coupon for wine/ limo tour of Malibu. The voucher was to include, 2 wineries, lunch and a stop on Malibu Beach. To start the day, we had 9 people from 3 separate groups (we did not know each other) crammed into a limo that would have comfortably fit and seat belt in 7. Next, the Limo Driver spent the next 15 minutes collecting tip and tax from everyone. Last I checked, tip was for service and to be given out at the end based on the service you get. Then we spent an hour driving up to the first winery, while falling all over each other because no one had seat belts and we were crammed in the back of a limo. When we got to the winery we asked the driver several times what time we needed to get back to the limo. He insisted that we take our time, and said he would come back when we call him. We agreed on staying at the winery for 45 minutes. When we got back into the car and started driving to the next winery, he told us that he would need an extra $100 to go to the next winery because we were now running over on time. He was the one who arrived late, took valuable time to collect his tip at the start of the day and then made no mention of a time limit when we were at the first winery. If we were on a time limit, that should have mentioned from the start and they should not have planned to take us to a winery that was an hour away from our starting point. After some protesting from the group, he agreed to quickly take us to the second winery after all for no additional charge. We were rushed at that winery, we never stopped on the beach for pictures as advertised and the behavior and confrontation ruined the entire mood & experience. I've been on several wine tasting tours and this was just a terrible experience. Also the customer service experience from the limo driver himself would make me say I would not recommend them as a standard limo company either. read more

He ended up sending us a party bus instead, said it's only $20 cheaper, and when the driver arrived we had no idea what to look for, so my husband and I were stuck outside in the cold for over 30 minutes. To make matters worse, Alex tells me that our credit card declined (again, at the last minute when I called to ask why he sent a party bus), and when I called my cc company, it turned out they declined the charges for good reason! Alex charged $3,075 instead of $375. This company is super shady with the overpricing, changing vehicles without your consent, and they don't even post a co name when they charge to your credit card. Humm .. I recommend on-time limo and do recommend them quite often. I use them personally, my company uses them and they represent major hotels in Los Angeles. Their pricing is very REASONABLE and I receive compliments from friends and business associates and very positive feedback and NEVER have heard anything but POSITIVE experiences. In my many, many experiences with On-Time Limo, they were ALWAYS on time, and the drivers were very professional and courteous. The cars are extremely clean and well maintained. Both the company and drivers are very accommodating and I can say that on two occasions important objects were left in the passenger compartment of their cars. The driver inspects the car a few blocks away from dropping you and in both cases the driver returned with the objects within 5 minutes ... Now I read some of the comments below. Reason must prevail, even if you have a coupon. If you expect $27 limo service to your Malibu beach house, you don't live in the real world. If you expect to be picked up from an international flight that has several delays for $27, you learned nothing while traveling the real world. I use limo services quite often. I check competitive pricing and On-Time Limo is always one of the most reasonable. I'm not trying to abuse some coupon system (these people are working some advertising/coupon loop-hole). I have used On Time 3 other times since the first time I ordered service on Groupon and each time has been a nice experience. Our management team travels every couple of weeks and we've used their services when our clients are visiting, so it is important to me that things are done properly without delay. I have to say that I deal with a number of businesses during my travels and have found On Time to be on point on all aspects. I believe the owner of the company has picked up the phone when I've placed my order so that makes me feel better than having some joe who doesn't care about customer service. On one experience he checked the status of the flight I'm on and sent out a car to get me without me having to phone in and provide the changes. This was a big deal as it's almost like having a personal assistant, which I do not have, yet, lol. On Time Limo is #1! I ordered them from a tip I got from a friend who previously used their services. I'm a businessman and travel extensively out of town for events and other rendezvous. I called and spoke with a dispatcher over the phone who quoted me a price of $85 with tax and tip from my home in Porter Ranch. I later found out that's the owner and that's great that he's so involved with this business. When the car came, a clean Lincoln Towncar was provided and the driver was waiting with the door opened. It was a good sign to see that he arrived 5 minutes early rather than 10 minutes late like most, and then say "traffic issues. . .many sorry Sir." I am a 32 year old business professional and have utilized a number of car service/limo companies over the past few years as my job requires traveling. A colleague of mine found a coupon from Groupon a while back with this company and utilized there services. He recommended me to call as he was happy with their service and the bottom line is that it is cheaper than many of the other big companies out there. Price matters and it does to me as well as I pay for my own service and receive a partial reimbursement from my company. I reside in Calabasas, which is roughly 35 miles from LAX. I try to travel out of Burbank, but the flights are usually not as frequent and don't match the time I need to leave. Ok....so, I emailed the company and spoke with the manager in that manner. He replied to my inquiry within a couple of minutes and offered to call if needed as well. He provided me a flat rate deal for a sedan without any additions or stuff that you hear always when you're in the vehicle, tax, tip, credit card charges, etc......He gave me one fee which was $95 (it would be 3% less if I didn't have to use my credit card) for the trip each way and offered to take my information for the return. I told him that I would see how the trip went to the airport and if I was interested I would let the driver know or email him. The driver came 10 minutes before the requested time, helped me with my luggage, and even reminded me (although I didn't forget) to have my ID and ticket for the flight. We pulled up to JetBlue terminal 3 and he assisted me with my luggage. I provided him a $5 tip and was on my way. My wife and I used On Time Limo for our wedding day, June 9, 2012. We needed two limos to take us and the entire bridal party from our hotel to a park to take pictures, back to the hotel, and finally the wedding venue. We were quoted a price that reflected 4 hours of service, including taxes and gratuity. The driver, Mike, showed up 20 minutes early and waited in front of the hotel. He drove very safely, and was very courteous. With all the different destinations, we ran about 20 minutes late, but Mike didn't charge us a penny extra. I know this because I have worked for a company like this and they would have me do the same thing from diffenrent IP addresses and computers. For example the comment that uses the word Dispatcher... A customer would not use that word, the company would, because they call the person who takes called Dispatchers. I bought a 1 time ride to LAX from my home (24 miles from LAX). I made a reservation online and when the company called to confirm they said it would be $27 including the tip. I thought that was reasonable since I paid $39 for the Groupon already! Once the ride was over the driver said that it would be $41! I told him the guy on the phone said it would be $27, but he said with mileage (4 miles more than the 20 miles the Groupon covered) it would be $41. It made no sense since the man on the phone the other day knew where I was getting picked up from and still said it would be $27! Plus, $3.50 per mile times 4 miles is not $41, it is $14! This is an extremely shady business. I don't feel like I bought a Groupon at all! That would make the total price of the service (a 20 min ride!) $120! I will NEVER use this car service ever again and don't think you should either! If you bought a Groupon, tell them you want your money back because it's not worth it! read more

Worthy of an Oscar---they definitely live up to their name--and provided professional drivers, who are respectful, considerate, kind and friendly--I went to the opening night of "echos in the canyon" last night at the Ford Theatre--great party, and saw all the great singers and bands that all lived in Laurel Canyon---and was lucky to see Jackson Brown and countless superstars perform---after the film--live, I did not want to drive, and the park and ride station was a big mystery and secret, as no one knew the location-, of the shuttle--naughty metro, and Ford folks! I bought a Groupon for a roundtrip to LAX. We had an early flight (7:00 AM) so I asked them to show at 4:30 AM. Come 4:30, nobody...4:45 still nobody. No one is answering their phone at this time of the morning so I leave a message and hop into our car to drive ourselves to the airport and park at one of the ridiculously expensive lots. We were running late now and couldn't be choosy. We were gone for two weeks and had to pay over $200 for parking. While we were at the airport someone from this company calls to apologize and says his driver had an emergency and offers a free roundtrip in addition to the Groupon I purchased. I agreed since I had another trip coming up in three weeks. So, when I got back I made the reservation for my second trip. Guess what? I bet you can. When it was time to pick me up, nobody showed again. I called the company to find out (or so they say) that the driver went to the wrong address and it would take him 45 min. to get to me. I told him to forget it, I would take a cab. He apologized again and offered another free trip. I told him, what good is a free trip if nobody shows up.
