Ok so where do I start?…read more Let's go back a year, I was 31 at the time (signed up with fix your credit 08/19) credit score of low 500s, about 20 negative items across the 3 major bureaus, $5400 in collections, wasn't able to apply for any kind of credit anywhere. Felt like I would never get out of the bad credit hole I had dug myself. I'll admit I wasn't the most responsible when it came to making payments on time and would more often than not just let my account go to collections. I simply didn't care, that is until I realized just how much of an impact having good credit is and the difference it makes in your quality of life. I couldn't qualify for a newer car, couldn't take out cell phone/change cell carriers, and forget about even thinking about owning my own home.
