My HTC battery was dying and i needed a new one and replacing it is a b***h so i decided to take it to one of the places that do that. I came in about 15 minutes after opening hour and the door was locked. I waited about 3-4 minutes and then the guy came running in with food and drinks. Good thing i waited a few minutes before walking away... Anyway, i told him what the problem was and he said that they don't have that battery in stock so they have to order it. He gave me an invoice for a "free diagnostic" and said that he will let me know soon when the part will arrive, hopefully the same day. Been about 2 weeks now and still haven't heard anything from them. If you are going to abandon a distressed customer, please let him know. I wasted too much time with a barley functioning phone until i just gave up on them ever getting back to me. read more

I called on my way over to find out if they could fix my phone. The response was to bring it in. I let them know I'd be there in a few. Ten minutes later when I arrived, the shop was closed with a sign that they were on a service call. When I called the number on the sign, they said they'd be back in 30 minutes. When I came back forty five minutes later they still had not returned. A very unhappy client was also waiting at the door. They told her they would be another hour. I called to find out if I would get the same story, and they were still at least 20 minutes away. A complete waste of time. Maybe they would have done a great job repairing my phone. But be sure to clarify that they will be there when you arrive. read more

The LCD on my Samsung Galaxy SII was completely shattered on my phone and they replaced it within 5 business days. The price ($190) was the lowest in the area and the work is perfect. The screen doesn't look like it has ever been broken and works perfectly. They called when the phone was done being repaired. Drama free and good work. I went to get an iPhone 4 screen fixed and asked if they can fix the buttons also, they said no problem. When I pick it up, the top button was fixed but the home button was not. Then they said if i wanted it fixed, it'll be an extra $59 on top of the $79 I just paid. I got took and later I find out that I could've got a better deal elsewhere. They are snakes and very unprofessional. These kind of businesses fail. You reap what you sow. Do not go there. Go to a kiosk at any mall and I'm sure they'll be more honest. This review is for their phone service, attitude and prices not service. Just arrived to Chicago from Miami and during move dropped phone. Had issues with touchscreen that worsened over the next day. Called first recommend listing, 1. OnCallERS Cell Phone Repair & Electronics told them my situation, only needed touchscreen on OLD IPHONE 5 temp phone. Not a care. Wanted $89.99. No way I pay that, I know its a rip off for desperate people. They should be ashamed. Called CPR Cell Phone Repair - Chicago twice...only got VM. Hard to leave VM when your touchscreen was bad. They never called back. Called MK Cell phones, picked up, when I said my Iphone 6S Brand New was stolen from me and I only had this 5 as I land a new job...they went awww. They actually cared. And guess what, charged me $40! I want to comment on this because I have had phones repaired in NEW YORK..... MIAMI and now Chicago. I know my pricing, I work in SALES. NYC charged me $69.99 in TIMES SQUARE and thats NYC. I don't think their pricing is fair, and without caring top of that. You get one star. read more

They fixed the shattered screen on my old iPhone (that I use in my car as an iPod) in less than two hours. It looks brand new!! Their customer service is actually "10 stars" because they text you to keep you updated on the progress of whatever item you are having serviced. Ervin did an awesome job of taking care of everything I needed and explaining everything thoroughly. Actually it ended up being sort of complicated process which was my fault. I bought the wrong SSD (in order to upgrade the SSD drive). He had to make several trips to my house so long story short... after getting the corrected SSD, he transferred files from existing hard drive to new drive, removed existing hard drive from laptop and installed new drive and validated successful data transfer. Now the laptop works much faster, smoothly and is overall working great!! He went above and beyond to satisfy a customer!! In the past 2.5 months I have had to take my mobile phone to get repaired 3 times. They fixed my the glass cover one time, the LCD screen twice. As luck would have it, my phone fell on hard surfaces each time. I was very pleased with the service I received. The guys were professional, courteous and super fast. I hired them for "Maid Cleaning Services" for a deep cleaning on my house that I had just moved out of. They charged me extra for the inside of my fridge and extra for my "large" basement they said. Though I believe my basement was regular size. I showed up the next day and the house was maybe 50% done. I spent the next 24 hours cleaning the house myself as my house was going to be listed to be sold. The refrigerator was never cleaned, the baseboards weren't wiped down, by hanging light fixtures weren't dusted or wiped, the basement that they ended up charging me extra for was only vacuumed. They missed 3 of the rooms in the basement....filthy! They also broke by garbage disposal (and denied it)! They cleaned the house on a Friday and I couldn't get a hold of them until Monday. I did leave several voice mails. When I finally got a hold of somebody on Monday ( I had to call them despite my emails, texts and telephone calls over the weekend that were never returned) they denied breaking the garbage disposal, telling me they don't even use the sink when they clean. This is not true as I was there when they were filling the sink up with items on the kitchen counter. Then they tried to tell me that the filthy parts of the house must've been created by the painters that were in my house at the same time. Really?! So, my painter opened up the kitchen drawers and threw food and crumbs in them? The backsplash behind the stove was splashed with food, not even wiped down. Anyway, my point is made. Customer service was terrible. I even took several dozen pictures as evidence. The manager on the phone told me that I couldn't prove anything and that my credit card was charged for the full price. read more

Brought my IPhone 4s in there a few days ago for a new screen. After I got home I noticed the new screen they installed had 3 dark spots and the reception had dropped dramatically... (Bluetooth and Wifi) I brought it back in and brought the fact that the Bluetooth wasn't working all of a sudden and the Wifi reception was all of a sudden very poor... They said I needed to do a software update and that would fix it... (That makes no sense) They did install a new screen for free but even the new screen has more spots on it that look bad. (Not as many as the last one though) I tried to take the phone apart today to see what they may have done and couldn't even get the screws out - They were completely stripped! (Yes I have the proper screw driver) The screws were completely rounded out... Use caution with this place - They use shady parts and more importantly their techs seem to be incompetent... read more

They did more damage than fixing!!!DO NOT GO HERE! Went in based on a friend's recommendation even though there were many cheaper places around. I picked up my phone and everything looked fine, however I noticed they caused some scratches on the frame of my phone, yet decided to ignore it because I just needed my working phone and the cosmetics did not bother me. Later that day I noticed they actually didn't do the job right at all. The sound was strange and the screen would show as if it wanted to appear, yet would not. I took it back in and a different guy fixed the sound and tried to fix the screen issue as well, however I took it home and the same problem kept happening with the screen. I was trying to be patient even though no one really knew what they were doing and kept trying to play it cool without explaining what was going on. During the second time taking it in the guy told me to bring it in again if it does not continue working and when I did one of the first guys taking care of it was there and they basically dismissed me and told me I have brought it in before already and that didn't work then there is nothing they can do. I explained how the issue my screen is having was not there before they touched it. To that they said we can place your old screen and refund you the money however I explained how that isn't helpful at all because I walked in with a cracked screen and if I took the refund then I'd be walking out with a cracked screen, a damaged frame they caused, and a new screen problem. I walked out of there upset and immediately called corporate as they told me to do since they couldn't do anything else. That call got transferred to someone at the 6corners location which to my luck was one of the guys that had worked on my phone the first time. He offered to try to fix my phone again himself this time, however I have walked in so many times, nothing was fixed and I was frustrated with the bad service I had received so far that at this point it seemed pointless. I still wanted my phone fixed but I have an extremely busy schedule and was not able to walk in. By now my screen is damaged again and because their service was so terrible I took it someplace else just to find out the cosmetic damages I ignored thinking it was no big deal, which ONCALLERS caused on the frame might have damaged the sensor and now have my phone not repairable. They honestly should have realized the mistakes they did and at least given me the refund with the new screen. They took advantage that I don't know anything about phones to try to dismiss the whole situation. I do not recommend coming here. Maybe if you go to a different location you'll have a better chance, but at the end of the day it's the same company so proceed at your own risk. read more

I was told at another local business that it would cost over 200.00 to fix the led and repair glass. So I looked online to replace my phone but found nothing. I am not one to pay monthly for a new phone. Didn't want to risk buying a refurbished phone and too many reviews about phones purchased that were supposed to be unlocked and were not or ones claiming to be compatible with my carrier, only to find out they are not (alot of reviewers made these statements about phones they purchased). Not worth the money! Went there to fix a broken screen on my iPhone. At first they said it would be ready within an hour. Then they called to say that it needed another piece that they had to order. Told me it would be ready the next day. 2 weeks later I finally got my phone back, and they never had the courtesy to call me and let me know that it would take that long. I called every day and they kept telling me they should get the part that day so it might be ready. They were very unprofessional and rude. I had an Xbox repaired at Oncallers and I'm not a happy customer. It was in because my 3 year jammed quarters down the Blu-ray drive and it would not eject the game that was in the drive. I was asked to leave the unit so that they could have a look at it. It was near closing time yesterday that was understandable. I was told that to evaluate the unit would not cost me anything so figured great. I call around 5pm today to see if they had a chance to take a look and he tells me that he got the coins out, the drive is ejecting the disc and that it will be $79. I assumed that I would be notified first before they decided to fix something but didn't mind as I thought $79 is better than buying a new Xbox. Well the drive works and the quarters are out but can't play games anymore. Drive doesn't function the same anymore. I could've open the Xbox to take the quarters out. If it couldn't be done then at least the courtesy of saying it isn't something they do and thank you for considering us. Instead I left $79 out and in the same boat I started. Blu-ray drive doesn't work (can't play games). All this being said, the gentleman was courteous and very professional but I wouldn't go back. read more
