***BEWARE*** I had a truly disappointing experience at G7 Electronics while trying to get my iPhone 13 screen fixed. I went in with high hopes, having had positive interactions in the past, but this time was very different. I explained to the technician that my screen wasn't functioning. He confidently offered to replace it in about 5-7 minutes for $157 (or $155 via Zelle). After a quick comparison with another store that quoted $225, I decided to proceed. When he finished, I noticed the screen looked blurry, and there was a warning that said "unidentified part detected." When I inquired about it, he mentioned a genuine part costs more and didn't let me know a non-genuine part would be used. I would've preferred to pay for the real deal! Things escalated quickly. He became visibly frustrated, saying he'd need to talk to his boss. After some time, he returned but had reverted my phone back to the non-functioning screen! When I asked why, he couldn't give a clear answer. In the end, he refused to give me my phone back and actually demanded $50 for the service I never received. Feeling cornered and frustrated, I ended up having to call the police--something I've never had to do before! If you're considering G7 Electronics, I really don't recommend it unless you're looking to experience disappointment. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I came in with a xbox series s to fix a broken hdmi port. I noticed it says "same day fix" in the front of the store so I assumed I was gonna receive it the same day but it took at least 2 weeks for the owner to fix. When I came in to receive my xbox it looked good at first but after i plugged it in and played it said "no signal" and I unplugged the hdmi cable to check the hdmi port only to find the port LOOSE and DETACHED from the motherboard. The owner gave me a warranty for 2 weeks if anything happens and I went back to the shop to see if he can fix it for me again and he said I HAVE TO PAY 70 DOLLARS TO FIX IT AGAIN? What is the whole point of the warranty? This place is a money hungry scam! I later then decided not to fix it and then a few weeks later i texted the owner and asked if my own xbox is in the shop AND I WAS LEFT ON READ! Do not go here! read more

Daughter tried showing me as she was a permanent middle line appeared. Brought it back the next day and was told they would have to charge cause when they gave it to me the screen was fine tobut would fix the home button cause it was under warranty. I bought in a vr quest 2 head set back on dec '24 which needed battery replacement. I did my research prior to bringing the item in so i knew whar the issue was and what the work entailed. I purchased my own brand new battery replacement too so i was surprised by tge high quote of $ 85 but i accepted it. Work done within days and i received a call notifying me the work was done, product was tested and works now...ready for pick up. I later bought back another vr head set in march '25 with the same situation and same quoted price. This time a week passed since drop off date and i received no call so i reached out for status and was told they DID try reaching me (lie) but that the item is ready for pick up. I went out and picked the item up, got home and connected it to a charger and item did not charge or pick up. I took the item back for warranty work and gave them time. I didnt hear back after a week so i called and was notified again they tried reaching me (lie) but that the item has mold on the mother board so item does not work. I let them know i was not notified of that initially when i picked the item up so that means item was not tested after the supposed work was done as the prior vr WAS tested after the work was done to ensure functionality. I advised them to review for partial refund due to this lack of communication which resulted in the inconvenience of time spent coming back to the shop for nothing. I came to the shop days after that call and partial refund was rejected as desk rep advised me they do NOT test items after work is done. I said WHAT!? Thats terrible service! Testing for functionality after completed work was done on the initial job i had done, why wouldnt it be done for this one? Just common practice/good customer service. Desk rep kept attempting to debate me and explain the work. I had to shut him down explaining im fully aware of what battery replacement work entails and that during that initial work, had the rep seen the reported mold during the work and tested the item afterwards he could have reported that to me and he didnt. I told him they have to be accountable for that lack of communication and poor customer service...now they dont compensate for thier errors? I took my vr and left. Im skeptical now on whether they even did any work on this vr. So heads up, i read lots of reviews about this place and i cant help but feel this place is the type of place that fixes one thing but purposefully messes up other parts in an effort to maximize repair cost /profit read more

After bringing my computer into two other places, issues still remained. I called up G7 and they told me that I could drop off the computer and it would be diagnosed the same day. I drove straight over on a Thursday at 10:30 AM and gave them my desktop, a power cord, and an external hard drive. I explained the issue and the person at the desk said that the tech would call me to discuss. He never did. I called around 3:00 PM to see if the computer was worked on yet and to explain the issue in detail and I was told the tech was out running errands and would get a call back. Called back at 6:00 PM and he said the issue was with the GPU and he explained the fixes. Called back on Friday and again "the tech was out running errands." Got a response at 6:30 PM after I called back and he told me that he didn't finish diagnostics which was opposite of Thursday's conversation. Called Saturday and got the same exact responses but this time that he would work on it. He never did. I decided to give up and went and retrieved the computer on the following Tuesday. When I picked it up, I had to google pictures of my computer, power cord, and external hard drive because there were no notes of any type on a single piece of equipment identifying them as mine and the person working had no idea where my equipment was and was showing me random pieces of unlabeled dropped off equipment. My computer was in the back room. My power cord on the opposite side. My external hard drive was sitting on the desk still from Thursday. If I could choose 0 stars, I would have. The only reason I even give this place 1 star is that they charge no diagnostic fee and that the tech was right about the overall issue. This place has awful customer service skills and has no care for timeliness. I think they would have fixed my computer if they had it another week or two. Add insult to injury and every time I called, I had to describe my computer in detail and each time I talked to the tech, I got: "is it a laptop?" "is it a hp?" "is it a ps5?" read more

My husband took my switch in a couple months ago because one of my joycons wasn't connecting to my switch. They were able to fix the joycon issue but suddenly when I tried to play it a couple days later after it being In the dock it never charged. We tried multiple docks and even a wall charger and nothing worked, there was no issues with charging before, battery life was great. when my husband called back and took it to them again they charged us an extra $100 to fix a problem that I'm sure came from them fixing the joycon. It took an extra couple days as well to get it back and since then I've had no issues but I'm definitely frustrated about the response to the charging port. read more

I'd like to be nice but it's really hard to after this experience. Please do not come here it is a total scam these people will have u wait a month or 2 and when you try to contact them it's either a lady who speaks Arabic or a guy who speaks Spanish. If you don't speak any of these two languages you are pretty much screwed because if you try to ask for a refund they say let me call the boss which is rarely to hardly ever there. Luckily I was still patient enough to deal with their crap. I would call G7 for a check up on my tech because I paid $95 and it was constantly give me your number my boss will call you back. If you guessed it the store never called back so I would have to take time out of my day to go in and it was always it was never ready. It wasn't till I had enough where I went in and asked for a refund which the lady who spoke Arabic said to be patient after 2 hours the guy came back and said the item was ready the crown on the watch was still broken and I could maneuver the watch. It lasted about a week before the same problem happened. Knowing these guys would not care about my tech I decided to just get a replacement from Amazon. It's truly frustrating that I need to put this on yelp these guys will scam hard working people. Even today when I came in there for a shipping label thinking they would at least remember me (they didn't) I saw a man frustrated that his laptop was not working properly. Mind you that this guy went to Microsoft to see if his laptop was fixed just to make sure and Microsoft said there was no battery. Then when the guy comes in they give him another battery that wasn't his and he gets into an argument with the boss and after my experience I could feel his frustration. Please avoid this place unless you wanna be down $95 dollars plus the extra I had to pay for shipping so about $120 dollars for some people who could give less of a crap about the customer. read more

This place is a complete sham. Dropped off my computer on a Saturday, Feb. 24 they said they might be able to fix it the same day or would call back. When I called back on Monday, Feb. 27, they said it would take 3-5 business days. That Friday, March 3 I didn't hear anything so I called the following Saturday. I was told they were still waiting on a part but would let me know. Then the following Monday, March 6, I get a call that it's ready. The other red flag -- I luckily pulled my hard drive but they told me I didn't need to and could put a password but then it appears they won't do any work without a password and access to all of your files. Run. This is a cash-only place and it does seem like a complete sham. read more

my iPhone 6 battery was failing, i called everywhere for a price on replacing it and they were charging between 60-90 dollars to replace which is insane. i found this location on yelp and they had a offer $50 for the price of $35, At first they did not have the battery in stock , which was my bad for not asking before i went there they tech told me they would have it in about a week, a week past and the battery was in stock, service was friendly and fast it took 15 mins and my phone was good to go. I took my iPhone 5S for screen replacement and they turned it around within an hour! I thought there was a discrepancy regarding the price/services because both glass and lcd were replaced (cost $110) (very common now bc takes a lot more work/time to replace the glass alone costs $80) and I wasn't made aware of that until I called them back after picking up my phone to find why I was charged the $110 price. They were great about making sure that I was happy with the quality of work and their service and that they more than anything wanted to keep my business in the future. *Read the last line if you read any of it.* Had a rough time. Took my tablet in for a screen replacement. Took a day longer then they said. No worries but it would have been nice if they called or emailed me to let me know because I drove over the day they told me it would be ready and they gave me the typical "we are waiting on a part". Wasted my time. Not sure what the point was of making me fill out the form with all my info if they're not gonna use it. Anyways, I came back a few days later and picked up my tablet. At first it looked good in the shop but the battery was dead so I took it home to test it out. There wound up being a dead spot going from left to right across the whole screen about an inch wide. I called them up immediately and they said they would fix it for free. Ok, cool. I took it back. Again the same nonsense though. I come back a few days later when they said it would be ready and again I got "waiting for a part". Lol. Now here's the kicker and the reason why I gave one star. I am nearly positive they messed with my tablet. I feel as if they replaced hardware. It was a Samsung 10.1 and it was great before I cracked the screen. It ran any games, streamed any movie and it was fast. Now that I got it back it takes forever to open a program and every game I have on it lags to the point that they are not playable. Even typing an email is frustrating because the keyboard even lags. If I knew of a way to prove it id do something about it but it seems they have won. Shady. Also, THEY PAY FOR YELP REVIEWS. I feel so bad because I really love the service these guys give, but my screen replacement has been giving me the blues for months. I don't know if the glue isn't high enough quality, or the glass isn't meant for the phone, but my entire front screen keeps peeling off. And now everything is faded and grainy looking. Like, no matter how many times I come back to get it fixed (3+), it ends up prying off a week or two later. I can fit a whole pen tip into the space. Its to the point that apple and sprint won't even repair it, I have to buy a replacement. It's annoying because before this repair it was a perfectly functioning phone. So sad :( read more

Alright. I came to this guy a few years ago to fix my shattered laptop screen. He did a great job, fixed it fast for a great price. As of today, I must say I am quite disappointed with this business. I came in with an internet problem. I knew it was a simple fix that required a few settings changed but I needed some guidance since I did not want to mess anything else up. I was told to leave it and that I will get a call back once the computer technician figured out what is wrong with it. 1. I never got a call. Had to call twice myself for an answer. 2. They told me an absurd price. 3. Said I needed a full system restore and a new part 4. Extra charge for back up... I ended up saying no thanks and picked it up. Went to my friend. He found the root of my problem. I had to uninstall my anti virus. And voila! Computers back to normal. I do not appreciate being ripped off. read more

I found this place after my boyfriend's external hard drive stopped working. It was an older model that required a power cord and the port was damaged. I brought it here after calling ahead and was quoted at $30 so I brought it in. A couple hours later I received a call stating they were able to recover everything (over 50gb) and it was ready for pick up. I paid what I was quoted and both guys I dealt with were friendly and professional. As a note, laptop repairs are done in their other location. I came in to get my laptop charging port repaired. They did that. PRICE: It was pricey though. Can't say if any other places would be any cheaper, though my friend paid nearly $200 for her's...I paid about $110 for mine. Mine had to be a complete replacement of the charging port. You're paying for mostly the labor & knowledge, it seems. I know the process of replacement and it's not that pricey, but you definitely need a careful hand. TIME: Took them a week. I had a few issues with this though. I called a week later and this location proceeded to tell me they didn't have my laptop. Called their other location. Was told they also did not have my laptop. Needless to say, I freaked out (internally. I'm not capable of yelling). The other location called this one and mine WAS there. I have a very distinct laptop that I described. NUMBER ONE ISSUE: I left my laptop charger with them so they could test. I did not receive it back because they failed to bring it back with my laptop. I told them this when I picked it up. It's been 6 days and I have NOT received a call from them. It should not be MY duty to follow-up on their mistake, imo. Maybe for cell phone issues I'll come here. They're apparently speedy. Laptops?
