Saw all the great reviews on this place. What really hooked me in was this "100% satisfaction guaranteed" that they have on their site so I decided to go and check them out. Came in and he told me that it would be $130 to fix the screen. At first I didn't want to pay it but he assured me that I was in safe hands with his 90 day money back guarantee on the receipt. I was still unsure but I decided to pay it because I needed my phone for my business. Instantly I noticed the cheaper material that they use. The color was different and I was having trouble getting it to work properly. About a month and a half later my phone randomly shuts off while on a zoom call. -No physical damage -No water damage Just cheap material. It would not turn on. I come back to the store the following day and explain to him my situation and show him my receipt. At first he tells me that I must've damaged it or dropped it but I told him that it wasn't possible. I have a case and it's always on me. I would know if I dropped it. He then tells me that replacing the LCD is not apart of the money back guarantee policy and that if I wanted to fix my phone I would have to make another purchase of $130! Wow great job on creating relationships with your customers. I didn't pay it, left and just used my backup phone. Makes you think what their 100% satisfaction guarantee on their site really means... Following this, we returned to this shop about 15 times in the span of like 2 months because it had non stop issues. When we came in the first time, we asked for my phone to be completely fixed, yet were forced to come back because first, the charging port wasn't working. They tried to charge us $75 for a cheap charging port but eventually just agreed on $15. Next thing you know, they had to put 4 different ports in my phone on 4 separate occasions because my mic didn't work and I couldn't charge my phone. I went in with high hopes, having had positive interactions in the past, but this time was very different. I explained to the technician that my screen wasn't functioning. He confidently offered to replace it in about 5-7 minutes for $157 (or $155 via Zelle). After a quick comparison with another store that quoted $225, I decided to proceed. When he finished, I noticed the screen looked blurry, and there was a warning that said "unidentified part detected." When I inquired about it, he mentioned a genuine part costs more and didn't let me know a non-genuine part would be used. I would've preferred to pay for the real deal! Things escalated quickly. He became visibly frustrated, saying he'd need to talk to his boss. After some time, he returned but had reverted my phone back to the non-functioning screen! When I asked why, he couldn't give a clear answer. In the end, he refused to give me my phone back and actually demanded $50 for the service I never received. Feeling cornered and frustrated, I ended up having to call the police--something I've never had to do before! If you're considering G7 Electronics, I really don't recommend it unless you're looking to experience disappointment.
