There was a birthday girl dress hanging up on the wall that I would have killed to have as a kid. As Julia pointed out, there's more girl clothes than boy clothes. I found about ten little tiny dresses I could see myself going crazy over once I have little ones (you know, a very very very long time from now.) On the way out, I took a photo of the most adorable formal dress for a baby girl (only $45!) and sent it to my mom, and she thought I was going crazy and bought it for myself for when I have future children. Super disappointed with the customer service…read more My grandmother, sister, and I came to Gabe's hoping to do some baby shopping for my sister who is pregnant and some HomeGoods shopping as I just moved on my own. Today was supposed to be a fun day of shopping for us since we live such busy lives and don't get to spend much time together. We were pleased to see there's a decent selection of items, mostly reasonably priced (if that's even the price!!! This will be important later). I searched for a nice doormat for about 10 minutes and finally found one I loved. It was so cute and fitting for my new home. However when I got to checkout the cashier stated that the tag is from their sister store and does not match up with the Gabe's tag. After waiting for them to do a price check another lady came over and told us that the item is actually more than what it was priced at and they are not able to mark it down regardless of what the tag says. Any store I've been to in the past has honored the tag so I am confused why the cashiers were so rude and dismissive in this instance. Left the store with a horrible taste in my mouth after my grandmother who doesn't have much spent nearly $100. Will not be returning. I refuse to give this company ANY business until something is done about the service.

I asked her for slim fit, and she said that she'd just taken them to the back, but she'd go retrieve them for my son. But rather than doing that, she continued to fold clothes. How can an associate ignore a live customer asking for help? Unreal. Lastly, the fitting room was dilapidated.
