Best prices on gently used children's closed in the area! I've checked out nearly all of the kid's resale shops around Pittsburgh and OUAC Monroeville has hands down the best prices on infant clothes, and a great inventory. The store is well organized and feels clean. Onesies are about $1.50, and leggings are about $1, so I was able to get a whole fall wardrobe for my little girl for about $75 bucks. They also have a nice book, toy selection, and baby gear like seats, pack n'plays, etc. I also just got a great Halloween costume from them for $5. I haven't sold anything to them yet, but when I've stopped in to shop it does often sound like their buy counter can have a long wait, so it's worth calling ahead. read more

Very poor customer service rude their strollers and toys are dirty but have the nerve to be particular when somebody come in and sell their items. I wouldn't recommend selling or shopping in that store you are better of selling your own stuff online. And the some of the clothes look dirty. read more

I am so sad I only just now discovered this store! They had a huge selection in great condition and you cannot beat the prices. I left with a giant bag of shoes, books, clothes, accessories for $50. If I had bought all that new it would have been at least $300. I haven't tried to sell anything with them, but I think people don't realize that if they don't buy your kids' clothes it's not that they aren't good enough or clean enough or really any judgement on them whatsoever. They can only buy what they know they will be able to sell. If they give you $10 for 10 shirts and only 2 of them sell for $2 each they still lost $6. You can't stay in business that way. If them not buying all my daughters clothes, or only paying $1 per piece, means that I have a store with a huge selection of clothes at amazing prices for years to come, I am happy with that! We brought 4 very large bins of clothing to the store. most of the clothes were never worn or only worn a few times. Everything was clean,washed and stainfree. We got called that they were finished with sorting thru the clothes and we could come get what they didn't want to buy....I get there and they only 20 items (shirts and pants are each 1 item). There was atleast 500 pieces of clothing. 2 of the bins didn't even get looked thru. Your advertisement and commercials are false compared to what you actually do. And what you paid us for those 20 items was another joke in itself. We will not step foot back in your stores and will not recommend anyone to go there. read more

Is it just me or does this place get worse and worse everytime you go? Could be because of the obvious drug users behind the counter or the fact they only buy from families who look like they are higher class. Who knows?! But it's going downhill quick. I recently visited this store after they opened from the pandemic. I brought 3 bags of clothes to the store and was told they could not take them because they had to be in plastic totes. I then left the store, purchased 2 totes to put the clothes in, put the clothes and toys into the totes and returned to the store. At this time they accepted the totes and I left to go do other things. I got the message that it was ready for pick up and returned to the store. When I got there they then told me the clothes needed organized and folded before they could except them. I asked if they went through anything which they replied they did and there were clothes they were going to take. At this point I asked them what the difference was if they already went through them if I take them out and fold them and they refused to answer me. I will not be returning to this outlet nor should anyone else. read more

The staff can be rude. An older woman found a shirt with holes in it. She took it up and calmly told them. After she left they talked about her to another customer in front of me. Plus the prices are high.This is the third time there for me, and I am not impressed. read more

Don't waste your time. I took 3 giant totes full of baby clothes up to 3T. They only took 4 items. These totes were full of top brands such as Ralph Lauren, Gymboree, and Carter's -- with no stains or wear. Not only was this a huge waste of my time, but the girls working there were incredibly rude. You're better off taking your slightly used baby and kid items to consignment. read more

This place is a complete joke. Brought a bin of brand new name brand clothes and a bin of new shoes and almost new shoes and they took hardly anything and gave me a lousy $24. What a waste of time and gas. If your buying be prepared because most of the items are old and faded. I don't understand how they buy old faded clothes and put shoes out for people to buy with mud still on them but will not take new shoes and name brand clothes w tags still on them ?? Everything is also very over priced. They give you $1 and turn around and put a $10 tag on your item. What a fraud I won't be back or recommend this place to anyone read more

We took some toys to sell there and they told us that we had to leave the toys to get checked before they decide how much they cost. When we came back they wanted to pay a dollar per toy so we said no took the toys and left home. When the kids played with one of the toys it wasn't working. I got suspicious because it was working fine before. I opened it and the batteries were missing!! They stole the batteries!! They could have asked to buy them instead of just taking them!! read more

It's a pretty good deal IF you're buying. I wouldn't really recommend trying to sell any of your stuff - expect some disappointment. They only paid me $1 for brand-new items (w/ original price tags still attached), but you can't beat the price of high end lightly worn clothes for a steal of $4-8 per item. read more

I just left the store empty handed and annoyed! I picked up merchandise off the clearance rack and when I got to the check out counter they were not coming up 50% off. I asked if it would be taken off at the end and she NO. They were priced as marked. I explained to her that I had gotten them all off of the clearance section and she proceeded to make me out to be the bad guy because there were absolutely "NOT" clearance and should have never been there and they were probably placed there by mistake. If that were the case, maybe better training is needed for their employees! Don't make me be the bad guy because your stuff it not where it's suppose to be. I almost feel like bait and switch was in full effect at the store. It's not the first time I was treated rudely and I can say that it's the last time I will EVER set foot in that store again! read more

I'll never waste the time of trying to sell anything back to Once Upon a Child again. We brought some perfectly good, gently used items in for sale, a few of which were on the list of top wanted items, and ALL were rejected, for some very shaky reasons. Most of these items were in the exact condition of when we bought them, including one that was still in its box, never used. It was incredibly frustrating to have to load all these items back in our car and take them back home. Do yourself a favor and have a yard sale if you want to put your items to good use. read more

The first time I came here I sold a few bags of clothes for a reasonable price. I was really happy and pleased. After that I brought in more bags of clothes months down the line and brought some clothes that were never even worn and they didn't take them.. Didn't say why but I still sold the rest of the clothes they wanted. Just recently I brought 3 big bags of clothes, PJ never worn, dresses only worn once, ect. I come back 6 hours later to see what they wanted to buy and they only wanted 2!! 2 shirts out of the 3 large bags for not even 2$!! Really?! Would not even tell me why they didn't want them when most of the clothes were never worn! I mean I'm not going to waste my time bringing clothes there anymore! At least tell the sellers that they may want certain brands or that they have too many dresses or PJs so the seller doesn't waste there time. I was extremely disappointed. Wish I could have had an explanation but the girl just said she didn't know y they didn't take any. So I'm not going there ever again. read more
