Hard to clearly state how terrible this service is. Please do yourself a favour and use 1-800-GOT-JUNK or Junk Kings instead. Do not use these clowns. 1. I had an appointment for 8-10am. The haulers did not show up until 11:40am. This is after I called repeatedly to ask where they were, or simply what a realistic estimate was. Of course, this completely derailed my schedule since I had moved all my meetings anticipating being present in the morning, not after noon. 2. They broke a bunch of glass decorations while moving furniture out, left broken glass shards EVERYWHERE, and left debris in the communal hallway of the apartment building!! They didn't bother cleaning up at all! 3. They left claiming the truck was full, but it clearly had room for a bunch of broken knick-knacks and sundries. I was charged more than $1000 for this. I understand the charge is per truck capacity, but if I've paid more than $1000 for a service, I expect not to have to wait 2 extra hours, not to have the place completely trashed (and hazardous to walk around!), and not for the job to be half-assedly done. read more

Update: Management reached out immediately, were very apologetic about what happened, and refunded our charge immediately. Customer Service seems like a priority for them! Thank you for reaching out! Once they arrived, they did quick work. However, they showed up 2 hours late to the 2 hour window they provided, so I was waiting around for 4 hours for them to arrive. I hired One Call Junk Haul this week to take away our old couch. I texted a photo and got a quote within minutes, and the price was lower than two other major junk haulers in the area- even though the couch would need to go down 4 flights of stairs. Manny and Neil showed up right on time, were professional, courteous, fast and good natured (even about those 4 flights of stairs). One Call Junk responded to my request within minutes (after 5:30 too!), helped me schedule the earliest time available (Monday morning) and let me sit back and just point. Sean and Jason called when they were 30 mins away, arrived promptly and with big smiles on their faces. They took in everything I needed hauled away and gave me a very fair (and competitive) quote and were willing to work with me on items that took priority over others. They were communicative and respectful, and checked in a few times to confirm I was comfortable with the way they were going to remove an item. This company had a 2 hour window to arrive at my apartment and remove a sofa and not only were they late, they were 3 HOURS LATE with no notice!!! Life happens, so obviously there isn't much that can be done when there is a backup... however.... I was not notified EVER. I had to call 4 times within a span of an hour each time to try and get an idea of what's happening next. It was a terrible experience and I will definitely never use their service again. read more

I scheduled a junk pick up 4 days in advance for a Friday at 1-3pm. The day before, they called and asked if they could reschedule for 2-4pm - I said they would need to arrive before 3:30 as I had an appointment at that time, and they said no problem they would plan to arrive at 2pm. They did not arrive until 5:30! And there was no proactive communication and not even the hint of an apology. I had to keep calling them and they kept saying the driver would get in touch but that did not happen. I missed multiple meetings because of their lack of communication and unreliability. I requested estimates through Yelp on a Thursday for what I described as two pick-up truck loads of deconstructed fencing moved and stacked on my sidewalk. I received a response withing an hour from One Call Junk Haul. $225 and a Monday pick-up with a 30 minute advance call. After agreeing and arranging a time window and sending a picture, the price suddenly became $225 per pick-up truck "load". Monday came and no call at 3:30 and so I texted Jesse to confirm. The text that came back indicated a re-schedule to the next day with a 3 - 5 pm window. I reluctantly agreed, asking them to please come then as the material was still on my sidewalk. Needless to say, they never came. No call. My text at 4:40 pm went unanswered.
