I had to always make sure to tell him to spray my knee with numbing medication, which should be the patients choice not the doctors Encouraged me to buy a knee brace that out of pocket besides insurance was 200 dollars and only wore it a few times because it would not stay in place which he told me after I said something about that yes that happens. I felt he was disinterested in my care and without going into further detail was not compassionate or professional and have since found a professional and caring doctor.

Beginning with scheduling my appointments, they do not overbook, the experience was completely positive.  The waiting room is clean, and light and airy. The PAs who initially see you are competent, and friendly and caring.  Dr. Lynch was sensitive to my concerns. He answered my questions completely and clearly, in a manner that I could easily understand. The surgeries (total replacement of both knees, three months apart) couldn't have gone better. There was minimal pain for surgeries of this kind. I was up and using a walker the day after surgery. I graduated to a cane within 2 weeks and discarded the cane after 2 months. I am now walking around better than I have in 20 years. I cannot recommend Dr. Lynch highly enough.

This clinic almost killed me ... Be ware, this clinic operates without doctors on a regular basis…read moreand instead will have a Physician assistant or a nurse practitioner, these are not doctors and never went to medical school. A week ago I was there with the starting of an allergy, which turned out to be driven by my blood pressure medication. However, the PA that I consulted with NEVER asked what medications I was on and told me to take Benadryl. Hours later I was at the hospital ER, where they quickly realized it was my medication causing it. There was a fear I was going to need to be intubated and after medications and plasma transfusion my condition was brought under control. Had the PA asked me the most basic question ..."what medications was I on?" a much simpler solution could have been found. The PA realized her mistake after I left the office and left me a voicemail asking if I was still on a specific medication but did not say anything about it being the cause or telling me to rush to the ER. She left a voice mail to call her back just 5 min before the clinic was closing. So when I contacted her the clinic was already closed. I have tried to resolved this directly with the Medical Director Dr. Koslow but he has decided never to contact me back and now I will have to file a civil case. Make sure if you visit them it is an actual dr who sees you.

WASTE OF TIME and SPACE! X-rays are advertised all over the building but when I took my fiancé in…read moreto get an X-ray, no one was around. In fact, they told us that the lady who performs the X-rays is only in the office ONCE A WEEK!! Why are you lying to customers and advertising things that aren't true?! Disgusting!! Takes for some people to be in someone else's position for them to understand the magnitude of a situation. We wouldn't have wasted time coming here if you guys don't want to work!! The only thing the girl at the front desk had to say was, "sorry". She couldn't care less, seemed like she was ready to go home. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE, who knows what else they can't help you with. Go somewhere you can get real help. God bless!

GREAT DOCTOR & NURSE!…read more I've been going to Dr. Bookus of Soundview Medical for many years now. He's a straight shooter and very good at keeping his patients in check. His nurse, Rosa is a doll and a pleasure to be around as well as Alex, who is new to the team but equally good. If you want an honest and very thorough clinician, Dr. Bookus is your guy! I know he will figure out what is wrong and give me solutions to solve them. He's not a "hand holder" by any means but I like that method so it works for me perfectly. He expects his patients to be accountable and I like that too! A great doctor and know your in great hands with him! On one specific occasion when my Mom was in for heart surgery, I ran out of RX's and needed a refill. He refused to call it in without seeing me. That was inconvenient because I was in the hospital with Mom all day and night and couldn't really make the time but he insisted. It was a good thing because my blood pressure was so bad, I could have had a heart attack or worst...a stroke. He got me on meds immediately and if he hadn't insisted on bring me in...he would have not caught it so I get why doctors do that. But... that policy can bit a patient in the backside too and on this other occasion where I moved,I think he made a bad call. Here's why... I recently moved from CT to FL and I was due for my annual which is the time I get all my scripts for refills. I thought I had done my annual but actually it was a sick visit...my bad. When I got to FL the pharmacy said no more refills so I asked if Dr. Bookus could please extend, once we realized I didn't do the annual like previously thought. He did allow for 1 month's worth while I reestablished with another doctor. One month wasn't enough time to get a 1st time visit with a new doctor down here. I had to wait 1 1/2 months for an appoint and called everywhere. I called back and explained it to the nurses but he wasn't willing to go beyond the 1 month extension. Long story short, I went without my meds for a time which to me is unacceptable under any circumstance...even if the error was mine initially. I was on daily meds that should not have been missed and was really surprised that was his solution for me and he wasn't willing to make an exception. I didn't agree with that solution so I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. It was my fault that I didn't remember but the move was very quick and stressful and these things can happen. I just wish he would have taken our years of history into consideration and know it wasn't intentional. I think he should have allowed for two months of RX's to give me the time to set up a new patient visit. It takes 3 months to get into see Dr. Bookus as a new patient so I'm not sure why he thought I could do it in less down here. That one incident aside, he is a fantastic doctor and I miss him and his staff a lot!

So hard to talk to anyone at this office. I feel more like a number and a bank then I do a patient.read more
