Booking my appointment was super easy and I was able to come the very next day. My esthetician was Katie, who was literally an angel. She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed while doing my hydrafacial and dermaplaning. You can tell she really cares about her patients and loves her job. Definitely planning on going back in 4-6 weeks for another facial with Katie! If you are planning on going to any spa in the auburn/opelika area definitely choose One Eighty Spa! I received an intermediate peel & received a chemical burn. It's also on my cheek and top of my chin. I consulted with two separate esthetician's & both advised my burn was bad & avoidable. It should not have happened. The owner of spa 180 told me this was normal and surprised that my entire face doesn't look like this?!Needless to say I will not be recommending this salon and I advise you do not visit them either. read more

I am putting 1 star only because 0 stars is not an option. Terrible experience and terrible customer service. I will never be back. A friend and I had been looking forward to our hydrafacial appointments that we traveled out of town for. Lindsey my provider had to stop in the middle of my facial and left the room because she "felt nauseous." She was gone for at least 5-10 minutes before she came back in. When she came back in she did 2 minutes of work on my face and said she was finished. I have had a hydrafacial before so I know what it's supposed to feel like after. My face did not have a glow/ feel hydrated whatsoever. Lindsey told my friend she would not be able to do her hydrafacial and that there was no one else there that could do her facial. The front desk was extremely rude and offered no remorse for the situation and did not do anything to make it right. When I told her my facial was not finished and that I felt like I shouldn't pay full price for the service I got, she asked Lindsey if she had finished and of course she said yes and made me pay full price for a procedure I know was not completed. My friend who didn't get her facial, did not get an apology or any gesture to make up for the situation. She was just told that she wouldn't be charged for today (obviously she didn't get the service done). Overall I left with a very bad taste and will never be back and will not recommend to ANYONE. read more

I was given a holiday spa gift for Christmas last year. It included a hyrdrafacial, massage, mani, pedi, and make up application. When scheduling they did not know what was even on my package I had to tell them. The facial and massage were amazing! With that I couldn't have asked for more. But my pedicure was pretty lame, as well as my make up application. I walked out looking like a kid playing in her mother's makeup. I took it off as soon as I got in the car. Not to mention, they didn't even have me down for a manicure. So I didn't get one? Had I remembered my paper listing what I was supposed to receive it would've been a different outcome. I won't go back for a mani, pedi, or makeup. Everything else was worth it. But going home a little uneasy about it. read more

I scheduled a lash lift and had a misunderstanding of the time of the appointment. When they called to tell me that I missed my time, the girl on the phone was incredibly rude, I didn't get her name, she then went on to tell me that they would be charging me the FULL amount of my appointment even though I explained to her that I was mixed up on the times, there was even a appointment available right after but they said they "could not" reschedule me. She told me to email the manager, so I did, and I explained the situation and was on the way to what I thought was my appointment, the email I received back had no ounce of remorse, I was sent the terms and conditions and that they charged my card. After emailing back asking to reschedule, they did not respond. I am extremely disappointed with how this was handled and cannot imagine that a misunderstanding hasn't happened before. I just had a massage, pedicure, and eyebrow waxing. All the staff were very courteous and professional. Denise gave the best massage I have ever had! She really listened to me about what aches and issues I have and what areas I wanted her to focus on more than others. The pedicure and waxing from Kaylee (sp?) were great as well. Very frustrating! Paid over $100 to get my lashed permed and within 3 hours after a long painful process (my eyes were red for 24 hours after the treatment), my lashes fell flat and looked awful. I called 180 spa to tell them what had happened and they offered that I could come in for a free service...in 6 weeks. So my lashes have looked horrible for the last 6 weeks and finally i called them to reschedule and they want to charge me full price. Tried to talk to multiple people on the phone but nobody was helpful or understanding. Guess I need a new lash and facial place, I feel completely cheated out of my money. read more

Super disappointed in my experience with 180wellness. I called to make an appointment for a prenatal massage, and they were perfectly lovely and able to schedule me quickly. That's why they get 2 stars, and not 1. As a courtesy, I let them know that my daughter would be with me, and asked if there was an elevator so that I could keep her in her stroller during my massage. The tone shifted entirely and I was told that it would probably be ok, but they would have to check. About 30 minutes later I got a call telling me that it was against the law (????) To have a child in the room as I was getting a massage. I've looked an looked and can find nothing to that effect in any massage, cosmetology, zoning, or legislative documents. If a business wants to offer prenatal massage, they'd do well to be family-friendly. And even better to not lie about the law to cover up their preferences. While it would be a bummer, I could understand their internal policies wanting to ensure a tranquil atmosphere for clients. I may have even attempted to get a massage at another point in the future when I could secure childcare. Now that I've been lied to, I have zero desire to give them my business and a strong desire to discourage anyone with children from going. So shady and disappointing. read more

My roommate went to get her brows tinted and I went for a wax. We should've known there was a problem when the waxer enthusiastically told us she's going to try to fit the both of us into one time slot. My roommate's tinting was horrendous and luckily she was able to scrub it off when we got home. Our lady suggested she go with the darkest tint despite her light brown hair. Clueless. Next, she waxed off a layer of my skin on one eyebrow and asked if she should do the other. God help me if I was going to leave with 2 uneven eyebrows. The skin from both brows and in between was completely stripped off and instead of apologizing, the waxer tried to ask me every question under the sun to see why this could've happened because she couldn't accept it was something she could've done. I've never had this happen before despite years of getting waxed. I know that this could happen to anyone for various reasons, but the way it was dealt with was extremely unprofessional. She called a friend in to laugh with us about it (even though my roommate and I weren't laughing). After spraying random stuff on my face without warning, she sent us to the front to pay for our services. We were greeted by the lovely reception cracking up in our face. Services were full price and we both looked absolutely ridiculous. Just when I thought it was over, I walk outside and my face starts burning. No help, minimal apologies, and several grown women laughed in my face. 100% will not be returning. The girls had absolutely no idea what they were doing. These reviews were extremely misleading. I went Tuesday to get eyelash extensions and they looked great when I left. Today is Friday and half of them have already fallen out. I've had numerous sets of eyelash extensions so I know what not to do in order to make them last longer, however, three days after they look AWFUL and half are gone. What did o even pay for? Super irritated I wasted money on this. Only giving 2 stars because the girl that did my lashes was polite, otherwise I would not recommend getting extensions from here. read more

My roommate and I went to get our eyebrows done here. I got mine tinted and she got hers waxed. I ended up looking like a cartoon character and the wax ripped off the skin on my roommate who has been getting here eyebrows waxed for years. The dye was black and I have brown hair. I repeatedly asked her for brown dye and obviously she didn't use it. Now my eyebrows look gray after being huge and jet black. It was extremely embarrassing. This spa is receiving a low score from me because they double dip the sticks when they wax. That is completely unacceptable and so hazardous for your health. Double dipping is when they use the same stick and continuously have skin contact and then dip it back into the wax pot. The wax will then carry many types of bacteria and diseases and the same wax is used for many customers. Please be careful and avoid waxing at this spa until they change their methods. read more

Two different massage therapists, the first did not use enough pressure, the second used enough pressure but weirded me out when I turned over and she was staring at me instead of holding cover up and looking away as they normally do. If you're looking just for a massage to relax you, then this place is fine. But if you're looking for a massage therapist who can apply deep pressure and work out knots, then don't bother. I asked for someone who can use heavy pressure when I made the appointment and again when I told my therapist what I was looking for, but her pressure and touch was too light -- not worth $65! When I asked her to use more pressure, she said she couldn't use much more because my spine was too close. What??? read more

180 Wellness Spa has poor customer service. I have been relying on them for all my spa services for what would have been three years this year. Purchasing a gift card with them is a waste of money. If you receive a coupon via email you cannot pair it with redeeming a gift card. If you have a gift card with them, they do not send reminders or notifications if you have a balance that will soon expire (in only a year). I was going to use up the rest of a gift card before I left town but was surprised to realize it had expired. The manager did not offer any credit or partial return on the balance that was closed. You would be better off paying for each service at the time it was received than ever buying a gift card with this company. read more
