My dad's nurse reached out in the early evening hours to let me know my dad's wheelchair transportation ride to his PET scan the following morning had been cancelled. I called a couple of transport company's but they were already closed for the day. Ricardo answered my call and was able to provide a ride for my dad's appointment in the morning. He picked him up as scheduled and got him there safe and on time. So grateful.

Then we had to change our start date because of street service and Armstrong accommodated us. My mom didn't quite need to be on a stretcher but she couldn't stand without assistance. Other companies refused to help her and said we would have to get a stretcher, except because of the narrow hallways it wouldn't work. Armstrong had no problem using a wheelchair and assist my mom to stand up. They were very professional, accommodating, and reasonably priced. They stayed in communication with me all the time. Unfortunately we didn't get to use them long as my mother passed shortly after we started using Armstrong but I am grateful that they made it easy and affordable for us. A horrible day occurred because of Liberty transport Ambulance Service. Today this service pick my…read morebrother up from the VA hospital on Wilshire. Transporting him to his home in Hawthorne. As they were taking him into his bedroom as he has been put on hospice has two fractured bones in his tailbone and suffering from lung cancer. They dropped him!! Onto the floor. The guy stated Oh I thought I dropped you on a pillow. My brother stated are you crazy!. I contacted the supervisors who said there is no incident report that should be given to the family. The EMTs that were on scene gathered in a huddle stated stayed outside did not provide an incident report and then simply left. I am now calling the supervisor. I want to talk to management. Do not use this service if you love your family. How do you drop a terminally ill man who is 61 years old on the floor. The manager called me back and stated that the for EMTs said they did not drop my brother. That is a lie!!. I'll be getting an attorney. I don't understand how you're supposed to care for somebody and you drop them on the floor, lie and say your supervisor. Stand around and ask if he's okay. I I contact management and they said that the for EMTs reported that they did not drop my brother. I don't have any reason to lie about what happened to him. My brother has cancer and is terminally ill what am I gaining telling the world that Liberty Ambulance carrier Transportation or whatever the hell they're called suck! Do not use the service they will lie and cheat do negligence and bodily harm to your loved one it just happened to us. It's important to let people know I had no idea that you would drop my brother on the floor and then say you lowered him to the ground really! When you dropped my brother on the ground, you stood around and said oh I'm sorry I thought you fell on a pillow. Are you freaking stupid do pillows grow out of a wooden floor?!. [Process]: I first attempted to call the number listed on the website (844-747-8669), but no one answered so I ended up sending a text message. I eventually received a call back from a gentleman named Brian and was able to set up a one-way transportation arrangement from the medical facility to a location in the South Bay for a reasonable price (in my case between $75-$100+). [Ride]: The medical facility accepted Sunshine Medical Transport's contact information as a form of transportation home. Driver was ready and on standby at the time of discharge. Our driver provided an excellent service and will make sure you or your elders don't fall on stairs and arrive at your doorstep safely. [Conclusion]: This is one of those services that comes in clutch when you need it and I can easily see myself using Sunshine Medical Transport if (1) I don't want to create inconvenience for others or (2) I want a trustworthy professional assistants to take care of elders during workdays when I can't take time off.
