Always enjoy the ambiance here. Live music is always fun. Restaurant was fairly busy, but didn't hinder the service or speed during my visit. I had the wet burrito which comes with either chicken or beef, I opted for the chicken. It has a side of pica, lettuce, guacamole, and a healthy handful of jalapeños. This was very flavorful. My only complaint was a wet burrito usually has some type of sauce, whether a cheese sauce or a red/green sauce. This one had none of that. So it was slightly on the dry side. I'm still leaving five stars because the service was great, friendly, and we received our food very quickly. read more

Stopped in while traveling on business. Sat at the bar and bartender was very good! Ordered a cup of French onion soup to start which had good flavor but wasn't very hot! What a lovely place! The outside seating area was so beautiful and lovely around the sunset and the service was nice and friendly! Our server went an extra mile to make sure that we are happy and enjoying our dinner! Food was delicious Both, the cobb salad and the sandwich with beef and russian dressing. On a recent trip to Jackson to visit my family, we had dinner at One North. Our waitress Alissa was excellent and on top of everything we needed all evening. My sister-in-law had the bourbon salmon, my brother the jambalaya and I had the fish and chips. We were very happy and impressed with the quantity and quality of the food. The drinks were great too. I had some Michigan Pinot Grigio for the first time. It was very tasty! A great experience and highly recommended. read more

The reason not a 5 star is that the area in the front of the bar, kind of like an enclosed porch was way too LOUD. I couldn't hear anything that was being said at our table. Came here a week ago for apps and a drink with a friend and was thrilled to see a great gluten free menu. I had the Brussels sprouts which were very good. Service was insanely slow but I figured it was a busy Friday night so whatever. Came back on a Wednesday night, place was dead...service was insanely bad. Had to wait over 20 minutes for my appetizer, weirdly enough my entree came out much quicker. It was almost impossible to get my waitresses attention even though I was at the bar and she only had two other people to wait on. Had no drink refill for half my meal, and couldn't get her to bring me the check as she and the other servers had their backs turned and talking for the longest time. Food was sub par the second time around and the service was a little insulting. Won't be back. read more

Bright, clean, and airy, set in a shared parking lot just off the 94/127 interchange. Very modern looking. Inside is another version of the BJ's/Granite City casual dining and craft beer concept. Friendly staff, okay prices, pretty good beer selection, including local beers. They obviously copied what other chains have done, and made a pretty good concept product. read more

We hosted a Celebration of Life at One North this weekend. Bob and his staff did an amazing job. They were very accommodating with AV help and all the young children that showed up. We had a waitress assigned to our party whose patience was amazing. After the Celebration of Life finished, our family moved to the restaurant for dinner where we met another exemplary restaurant. A few of us then moved to the patio for drinks and met a 3rd wonderful waiter. The food was wonderful for our Celebration. During our family dinner our waiter was super patient about food allergies and our out-of-town guests. I would 100% recommend One North and the amazing staff for any gathering you are planning. read more

Stopped in here twice during our stay in Jackson. There are not many food options in the area that aren't large chains. This place was good. The servers were very nice and attentive. The second time we stopped in we were with a large party and they were able to accommodate us rather quickly and get all our food and drink orders right! They really provided excellent service for such a last minute surprise like that. I would definitely come back here if I am in the area. The menu has has many options. I tried the burger and has some of honeys nachos and everything was good. It wasn't amazing, no, but good and that was enough for me. read more

Insanely good food!!! Lighting kept the theme happy and vibrant! And lady was great in serving us and kept us little busy.

Made a stop here for lunch. The place is newly built with a contemporary design. Very cool and they were super clean. The bar area is roomy and there is plenty of seating throughout. Our service was good. Our waiter was attentive, refilled our drinks and checked on us appropriately. The menue has a variety but the food seems a bit pricy. Our food was a bit slow coming out for the few people that were there. The French onion soup was decent. The carbonara was decent as well. The chicken parm was ok. One. N. Kitchen was a random choice to meet up with some friends. Lucky guess! Service was awesome. Ambience was pretty good. All of our entrees were tasty too. Really loved the brussel sprouts appetizer and the Mac and cheese. The 'corn ribs' were fun and interesting. Can't go wrong here...I've always wanted to stop in when I come to Jackson and OMG so glad we did!! Great presentations. The whitefish dip is superb, the Buffalo chicken dip is awesome, the Sunrise Burger was delicious and the salmon was PERFECT. No room for dessert but they have some awesome options! The Cajun seasoning on the fries...stealing that for my bacon hash brown potatoes I make with pork! YUM!! Can't wait to come back next weekend and try some more!! read more

We decided to try something new today and went with the wet burrito and blackened chicken Alfredo. The presentation was great but the food did not come out hot, the tortilla was tough and the inside of the burrito was cold.
