Lina had a great solution and did an amazing job matching it with an acrylic extension--you can't even tell in the photo. That said, if you're in a similar situation, I'd recommend asking for Gel-X instead of acrylic. The acrylic ended up feeling loose and didn't hold well, so I had to come back before leaving for a trip. To their credit, Sunny Nails squeezed me in the very next day. Another technician quickly assessed the issue, removed the acrylic, and replaced it with Gel-X (a full, strong nail--not just a tip). The result was flawless--she shaped it beautifully, and I was able to enjoy my trip with perfect nails. The only downside was the experience during the fix. The technician seemed frustrated, didn't respond to my thank you, and abruptly turned off the blue light and walked away without acknowledgment. It felt a bit uncomfortable--especially since I had already paid extra for the initial service and had to come back. Overall, they made it right, and I appreciate the quality of the final result--just wish the customer experience during the correction matched it.

I just am no good at clipping my own toenails. They end up all crooked and jagged. Or I cut too deep and bleed. I asked my wife Becky if she would include me in her next appointment at Forever Hair and Nails. It is more than just a toenail clip. It is relaxing in a massage chair, a foot Jacuzzi, a heel scrub, a foot massage, and the fabulous lower leg massage at the end. I walked in and was greeted by Amy who had me take a seat. Becky was in the chair next to me. She showed me the remote control for the chair. There was a plethora of different massage settings to choose from. I told Amy that it was my first ever pedicure. She was extra careful and gentle. I am one who doesn't like my feet messed with, but this was different. I very much enjoyed it. When she was finished my feet looked and felt great. As did my legs. Never had one problem at all at the salon. Today I had an absolute awful experience. I don't know if Linh is not experienced in Gel-X fill (she didn't even clean underneath my fingernails at all and they came out all lumpy) or she just had a bad day. Automatically she was in a bad mood the minute I sat in her chair. She had on a "stank" face and the way she spoke to me was extremely rude (what did IIIIIIII do to you??). No big deal I thought, everyone has a bad day! But then she proceeded to do my nails and literally made almost every single one of my fingers bleed! Like blood was coming out! Coming to the salon should be relaxing, but she made me stress out so much that my hands started shaking! Couldn't enjoy the pedicure that I was getting done at the same time at all!!!!
