I don't think I would have contacted them with how terrible these other reviews are. Anyway, here is what happened. Chris came to give us a quote for cabinets and shelving in our livingroom. Each time after the initial meeting, he seemed to forget what we had discussed. I mentioned to Cabinet Discounters that he was giving me bad vibes but they said they had worked with the owner multiple times and never had a problem so I booked them. Around the 2nd-3rd day, I realized the team was installing MDF instead of plywood as discussed. I had my husband tell them that we can't do MDF because we'll need to be able to sand and fix any damages in the future, as I had already explained. Chris rage quit the job and I sat in my car until he left because I didn't feel comfortable in my house during the cursing rage quit. The other person, Bryan, said he'd like to stay on the job if we wanted. Bryan was very chill and laid back and we agreed. The owner, Will, came out to chat and figure out a plan. We switched counters to quartz as finding a mill to make a large enough top for the cabinets was going to be difficult. Counter people come out to measure and it turns out Chris hadn't installed the cabinets centered. Bryan and Robert came out to fix that. Bryan did an excellent job on the shelves. We love the look and quality. After caulking, I asked when the hardware for the cabinets would be installed and Bryan said our quote didn't include that. The cabinet doors and drawer fronts were not installed. So, I reached out to the owner, Will, to clarify. Will never responded. Maybe he's on vacation, sick, hates us....? After 5 days of ghosting, I hired Cabinet Discounters to finish the job. They discovered that when the Verizon box was moved, wires were left exposed. My husband works from home and the internet keeps going out. So, not great. The whole job from cabinet arrival to now is around 7-8 weeks so far but now I have to have someone come out to fix that. I would describe the project as stressful and chaotic.

He is professional and can do everything from small fixes to large renovations. He brings a wealth of knowledge and perfection in his work that isn't seen often these days. For me he has done everything from fixing my front door to renovating my laundry room with custom floating shelves to redoing our entire basement which including completely gitting and rearranging plumbing to brand new finished. I would highly recommend him, he isnt the cheapest but you will definitely be happy with his work.

He immediately went out of his way to get his staff to do the job. Coordinated with the movers to come more or less at the same time. They removed the rail to allow my refrigerator to be lifted upstairs and bring down the old one. The Handyman crew reinstall the rail without incidents. He's insured, easy to work with, has an insane knowledge or wheelhouse of specific jobs he can do, does not cut corners (even if you ask I heard) but will find ways to save you every time and still puts way more time into jobs than he charges! He's a small business only hiring out for larger jobs and keeps to himself but is really friendly. He's has flexible hours if you need him nights weekends or last minute - even holidays! He's does not have children so is able to work with clients and their schedules. He does start later and finish later but most prefer it to avoid early morning noise but if you request certain hours he obliges. He's really good with remodels, siding, doors, windows, odd custom jobs, carpentry, technology, labor like post hole mail boxes and fences but also fine detail tile, electrical and plumbing! He can do lighting, drywall, flooring, etc! He has a large assortment of tools and lots of experience and clients but is a problem solver for situations others messed up or took liberties with. A great value but underpaid with this inflation so suspect his costs will go up. Hire him now before he starts to charge what he's worth!!! Btw very trustworthy- had entry to almost everyone I spoke to and never snooped or broke anything. Can be left to freely work without having to watch him like young contractors who tend to skip crucial steps from what I've heard causing the same issues a few years later. Mark takes his time but it's worth it every time! Also great around kids, pets and special needs clients. No complaints of taking advantage of anyone too. That's a rarity! Also responds best to texts or calls. Does not have assistant so I do have to call him 1-2x because he misses the vm's when working. But great with all tasks large and small. Has huge portfolio of work and pictures. Let's just say that my contactor was at my home for most of the day as there were some unexpected issues with installing my ceiling fan and with my front door lock. Leon, my contractor, was very easy going and friendly and when I had a problem with locking my door he came back to fix it w/no problems. Dan and Leon are great and they really care about your satisfaction as a customer. They will not let the sun go down if something is not right and you are not completely satisfied. I know it was an extremely long day for Leon as it was for me, as he shifted his work to accommodate carpet cleaners, movers, air vent and dyer duct contractors and even stop to give attention to my 10 year old yorkie poo. Bryce answered my call, was able to make a prompt appointment and showed up as promised. Everything he has done for us looks good and when there was an issue with part of one job he quickly showed up and fixed the problem. He's also honest when some repairs require someone with a more specialized skillset. When he discovered some issues with our brick walls he didn't hesitate to tell me that this was something that required a mason, so it's good to know he won't half-ass a job that's outside of what he normally does.
