We made an honest mistake and showed up on the wrong date for our passport appointment. We had already taken the day off from work and school specifically for this appointment, so we were understandably worried and disappointed that we might have to reschedule and lose another day. Fortunately, one appointment did not show up, and Ralph went above and beyond by kindly accommodating us. What could have been a very stressful and frustrating experience turned into a positive one because of his compassion and professionalism. Ralph was calm, patient, respectful, and genuinely kind from beginning to end. I also watched him assist the couple ahead of us, and that really stood out to me. He was just as patient and attentive with them, taking the time to answer their questions and make sure they understood everything. His patience did not feel forced--it was clear that he genuinely cares about helping people. That level of customer service is rare and deserves recognition. Ralph is truly a model employee and an incredible asset to the City of Buena Park. I strongly believe he deserves to be recognized as Employee of the Month and should absolutely be considered for advancement and promotion.
