I am currently in the process of getting my Notary Public commission and needed to have a live scan background check done. Prior to stopping by, I called the business to make sure that the live scan services offered here were in compliance with my needs. The owner was not only welcoming on the phone, he also took the time to explain to me that the live scanswere indeed DOJ and FBI background checks. (It never hurts to ask as I was completely clueless and didn't know if all live scans met the criteria set by the Secretary of State.) I made an appointment at 8:30am and called MULTIPLE times prior to showing up. There was no answer at all. Since I had made an appointment and received my confirmation, I showed up anyway because I thought they would be professional enough to know they had a customer who made an appointment which meant they needed to be there. When I showed up at 8:20am, their store was closed even though they say their store opens at 8:00am. I called MULTIPLE times AGAIN and still no answer. I left 2 voicemails and I didn't get a call back until 10:30AM. The guy leaves me a voicemail at 10:30 am and says that I should have called before coming and that he's in the office now (10:30am), not even giving an apology. This was really infuriating when I did just that and they didn't answer. What's the point of making an appointment if they're not going to be there at that time? Tip: don't allow people to make appointments at certain times if you know you're not going to be there at that time. Time is valuable and I'm not here to wait on you(One Stop Registration Services) to see when YOU'RE ready after making an appointment. read more
