Had a 1030am appointment, was running behind got here at 1040.... and there were about 8 people waiting all with a 1030 appointment. I had asked to come in at 10, and they said no 1030. I had to cancel my 11am appointment with my doctor because 30 min later and I still haven't been seen. All the people here were scheduled for 1030. If you can't see clients in a timely fashion don't schedule them all at the same time. It's frustrating that my time is not valued here. It's a lack of respect for your customers time. read more

Came here to get a Live Scan for the new company that I will be working for. There is a small parking lot for the store and it is located in the 2nd floor. I'm responsible for Live Scans for my workplace and have found Pasadena Live Scan to be top notch when it comes to Live Scans (I've had a number of bad experiences working with other providers). From an employer perspective, Pasadena Live Scan is reliable, responsive, and easy to work with. Pricing is competitive. They're able to keep a company credit card on file and billing has always been accurate and for the most part timely (I've asked them to bill us monthly). From the perspective of someone who needs fingerprinting, the staff are professional and patient. It seems like they do operate on an appointment only basis now though so I suggest calling ahead of time. I've never heard of any difficulties getting an appointment. The one caveat is the location and parking can be hard to find. They're located at the edge of a residential area, on the top floor of the business complex on Marengo and Orange Grove. Street parking is available if the lot is full. read more

I was in the neighborhood and stopped by for information. The location is in a building shared with other businesses so they were hard to find. No place to park on the premises. I wouldn't park here anyway too many beat up cars with people sitting inside waiting for people. Asking for a dent in your car - forget it. Nice people in office but too many people hanging around waiting in hallway. I went to another livescan office and paid a little more. Easy parking. No waiting. read more

The location is out of the way for Pasadena. It's also not that visible that the office is in a small building. They need more than a banner and it needs to be on the front of building not side. Nevermind all that. The owners are super cool and just do their thing. I think they should charge more for their service because they are a small business. I am not surprised by the amount of great reviews. I just hate to hear a good review is based on being cheaper than anyone else. These folks are more than that. Livescan is a major investment and a service that is required for jobs, clearance, and background checks. It's a serious business. If they bumped their pricing I still think they would get a good review. They Just are really super cool people. read more

Walked in without an appointment on a weekday and was finished in around 7 minutes. I had a WAY better experience than I did at a previous live scan location I've been to. Fast and reliable! My total for CPA fingerprinting and DOJ clearance was $68. read more

I come here to get fingerprints once every 2 to 4 years for my various licenses. It's easy to make an appointment. Sometimes the parking is a little rough because it's limited parking. Good service, quick friendly. read more

Friendly and quick service! It was a bit hard to find the location at first because the building that they are also have multiple other businesses as well. They are located on the second floor. I came here for the live scan, which is $18 and the DOJ was standard cost. Compared to other places, it was pretty reasonable. They had a screen protector while doing the fingerprints, so it felt pretty safe. I called in advance to schedule an appointment, and when I came in at my appointment, I was done within 5 minutes. They also do services such as notary and passport photos. It costs $10 for 2 photos, which is also still reasonable. Overall: small location, but quiet, friendly, and quick. Definitely will recommend others to come here as well! read more

Great customer service, and very thorough and informative. He explained to me the reasoning behind the cost and the estimated time my results would be done. I heard back from my employer very shortly afterwards that they received the results. There is lot parking and street parking available as well. Tip: there are signs leading to his office. Gets the job done! Pros: Walk in's are welcomed. I only waited 15 minutes and they were accommodating to get me helped. My company paid for the live scan I only had to pay $18 for the service. There are taxes, copies and notary services done there too. Cons/Tips: They don't accept personal checks-everything else is good. The parking lot is small for the amount of businesses in the lot. The lot is on Orange Grove, Marengo is a one way street but if you come through Marengo there might be street parking there. There's LOTS of businesses there, find the stairs. They are on the Marengo side. Go up and turn right and you'll hit it. I got there and must have looked lost. Someone asked me what I was looking for and pointed me in the right direction. read more

They have a great price for passport photos, 2 for $10, which is the closest that I could find to Costco's former photoshop(RIP) prices. You don't need an appointment, but they mentioned that they close at 1 pm for lunch. They also recommended that I don't wear a white top, so I thanked the friendly clerk for the good tip. read more

This place has great customer service! I called to make sure they do Ink fingerprints because my company requires "ink fingerprints" and not live scans. They can do both "ink fingerprints" (under $20) and live scans. This place takes appointments only BUT you can literally call right before you go in. Their parking lot is small, and the location of the place is upstairs. There are signs for you to get to your destination no problem. read more

This is my second time doing a live scan at this location and service was fast and efficient. I always call in to schedule an appointment (that's required now due to Covid). Usually getting and appointment in a particular time frame is easy in my experience. The cost was under $20, so affordable. The only complaint I have is Parking is tough. They have a tiny shared parking lot so residential parking is usually what you need to do. Residential area near there is pretty congested and the street near it (I think Marengo) is a one way. Keep that in mind when heading to your appointment and allow 10 minutes for parking prior. Service is always good and wait time is almost none due to having a scheduled appointment. read more

They told me to come in on a Saturday morning and it was closed. There was no signs or anything indicating that they were out of the office. I ended up getting a haircut from the hair salon on the bottom floor instead ‍ they're stationed outside on the parking lot with canopies, fans, all the chairs and supplies. 10/10 recommend. read more

Came in at 5:30pm to do my taxes and after waiting 30 minutes, I was told that I should come back tomorrow because they're currently working on two people. It was only 6pm by that time and I didnt understand why he was telling me this because there's a whole hour before they close. I was the next person in line and there were about 5 other people after me. I didnt see him telling anyone else to come back tomorrow, I understand some of them may have come for other services like notary or live scan, but I was there before them. What's the point of having a list if you're going to just choose which case you want to work on. I feel so disrespected. What a waste of my time! My parents have been coming to them for a couple years ,so I've given them a try but after today I wont ever be back, they have lost my business. read more
