I had a dead battery that hospital security wasn't able to jump, so I asked State Farm to send a tow truck in case the battery wasn't the problem. They connected me with two companies that declined because they only had flatbeds. I found Rudy Smith on my own, referred by two other companies I called. They only have one smaller truck, but Timothy came to my house, picked me up and took me to my car within half an hour of my call. Turns out, all I needed was a jump with good equipment by someone who knew what he was doing, so the truck wasn't necessary. But he was so nice and reassuring, it was a pleasure to do business with him. If I ever need a tow again, I'll just call them again and turn the receipt in to the insurance company myself.

First of all when I call to check the status of my tow the young lady who answered the phone was so friendly! Most of the time when you call a tow company it's a chore! In the mean time we kept trying other things we could try. We did get it started, a ground wire came off. I called them back and canceled. No problem they were still sweet. Then later just after we went back into our house their driver passed by to check on us and make sure we and our jeep were OK and safe. I'd recommend them for everyone.

I called back and they were so apologetic: "I'm so sorry! I was looking at the wrong thing. I have it! They're coming! 10-20 minutes." One minute later, GEICO called to say they had CANCELLED right after that phone call. I had them double-check because I was so shocked that they turned around and cancelled on us after all that. I would absolutely never rely on them in case of emergency, and what else do you need this kind of service for? Worthless, unreliable, and cowardly. DO NOT USE THEM.
