Thank you, Sarah for being such an angel. She helped me fill in the pertinent forms and take pictures of my id and insurance cards. Then, she took my medical background and I waited for an X-Ray. She was a saint. My provider, Dr. Tanya examined my foot. She was really fabulous and told me to wait until they could get it x-rayed. They X-rayed my foot and I broke it. : ( I now have a boot and a cane. Oh, not the look I was hoping for. I have to follow up with an orthopedic doctor. But, Dr. Tanya and Sarah were the best! Thank you, urgent care for making my visit a little easier and more comfortable.

BUT, THE CLINCHER WAS: the radiologist who took a few pictures and told me to get off the table and WAIT in another room to make sure the images were "ok". Wow, such stupidity and I told him " NOT MOVING!" Too much pain and knowing that I had a severe fracture ( just knew it). Not being disrespectful or difficult, HE ( the radiologist) already SAW THE PICTURES/XRAYS, and asking me to move! WOW! Ended up with 12 screws and a plate in my knee cap! For a Radiologist and MAYBE A PHYSICIAN to see these X-ray, I got a severe problem here as to how EVERYTHING was handled, being a recent retired surgical nurse!

We were quite sure Medstar wouldn't want me sitting in their waiting room, especially since there was no question of the diagnosis, and we were right. They referred us to their E-visit option. Shortly we received a sign-in text and started the process. It was much like filling out the information form for a visit at the facility. We had a couple of glitches, mostly our fault, but got signed in. Soon a screen popped up telling me that I was "in the waiting room and there were two patients ahead of me." It was nice to sit on my own couch, sipping coffee and cuddling with my puppy while I waited. It wasn't long before Opal signed in and we started our visit. Opal went over my meds and warned me of some interactions to look for when I started the Plaxlovid. Sure enough my blood pressure fluctuated and I had to adjust my bp meds. I was really impressed with the thoroughness of the visit, how pleasant Opal was, and how easy the whole process was.

sometimes their good sometimes their bad. went in around june because i knew that i was coming down…read morewith the flu or covid. both tests came back negative and the doctor then told me it was allergies. i have never had allergies before and asked if i could be prescribed something against the flu because i know my body and know it was coming. the doctor told me to take Claritin a month before my allergy symptoms usually come and sent me on my way. the next day i was so sick i couldn't get out of bed. ended up having covid symptoms d for 6 days. i wish the doctor had just listened to me, i know my body best. went again in august after returning from a europe trip because i had a splinter in my foot for the last 11 days. they took x-rays and checked my foot out and told me nothing was there. i then went to a foot doctor in the area and she took x-rays and found not only wood but also a piece of glass the size of my ring finger nail. turns out the urgent care didn't x-ray my foot correctly. they did correctly diagnose my mom with rsv tho and that doctor was super nice and explained everything well and answered all her questions. i've had good experiences as well such as when i had strep and the flu last year. it's a hit or miss honestly

Found out the hard way, they did not do or prescribe what I wanted period and staff should be aware of this or ask before making an appointment. $111.98 down the drain! and pushy to get me to make another appointment to give me part of what I needed. It seems like they want you to keep coming back to get what should have been down the first time. I should have know better. There does not seem like there are any doctors out there anymore. Most are scared to give certain prescriptions but that is why they are there. Not at all like who I went to who retired and the one before him and before him etc. They were real doctors unlike what you have now. This place does so many…read morethings right, including: (1) the ease of making a same-day online appointment; (2) a convenient location with adequate parking; (3) a modern and clean facility with a friendly receptionist, a water bottle filling station, and complementary tissues / masks / water / snacks; and (4) competent medical staff and doctors who really do seem like they enjoy their job. They really seem to go above and beyond at this place. For example, after the medical assistant took my vitals and exited the room, I started coughing / hacking uncontrollably. She heard me and came back in and proactively offered me one of their free bottled waters, which I very much appreciated. Also, when the PA/doctor later came in and I told her my symptoms and how I had tried to self-treat with some old Rx meds I had on hand (on the recommendation of my mom, who is also a nurse), she actually commended me for doing that, re-upped my Rx, and told me to keep going. Although it was no fun to be sick right before the December holidays, this place made treating that sickness less stressful than the typical urgent care. I give this place 5 stars -- maybe even 6!

On the morning of the appointment, the front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The wait to be seen was reasonable, and wasn't very long at all. Both the nurse as well as the doctor were fantastic. The doctor didn't rush, and instead took an appropriate amount of time to discuss and perform an exam. I'd definitely visit this practice again. It was such a better experience than other urgent care providers I've had to use in the area. Everything was clean and appeared well maintained.

There were no openings at any of the MinuteClinics and walk-in waits were upwards of 1 hour. I looked around and Yelp helped me find this clinic. I've been to this shopping center hundreds of times and obliviously missed that this exists, maybe because nowhere in the signage does it say "Urgent Care". There were only a few patients on a Sunday afternoon, and I was checked in right away by a friendly young male staff who had the normal requests for information, ID, insurance, and signatures on disclaimers too long to read. A cordial and helpful doctor's assistant took my vitals, led me to a patient room, and a PA-C came in within minutes to do an assessment. The entire visit was under 30 minutes and I was pleasantly surprised how fast, courteous, and professional everyone was and how convenient this facility is. The cost of the visit and tests will of course vary based on your insurance plan, but luckily it did not cost me an arm and a leg. I hope to not have a need to visit again for illness but if I had to pick a place for such a need I would choose this one.

My latest placement brought me to this facility. Like many of the doctors in the area, they don't have a lab in-office, but have the basics for getting an annual physical. As a new member, I had to fill out some forms, and then the medical assistant weighed me and measured my height. In the past, I've had to face the wall for those, and this time I faced away from the wall... that's new for me! And my blood pressure was taken with one of the small machines, not one of the big ones. Is that the new trend? I always considered the big machines the 'professional' ones for the office, and the small ones were for personal use. I'm willing to bet studies showed there's no significant difference between the two. And then my EKGs got taken... seamless process. I then had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Hassan. He was very professional, open to any questions or concerns, and overall a nice guy. He sent me off to get lab work done nearby, and then I returned to discuss those results. He kept it 100% and didn't immediately want to prescribe medicine for some high numbers I have... I appreciate his expertise. For anyone in the area, I can't find a reason to recommend someone besides Dr. Hassan.
