This had to be experienced. And, so we made our way here. It is a robust, larger liquor store. Exposition? Possibly? Large for a usual liquor store? Definitely. They had plenty to choose from. We were in the market for some scotch and drambuie (rusty nails, here we come). We found both. The server was kind and the prices were about average. The store was easy enough to navigate if a bit haphazard (neatly stocked linear lines, it was not). It was a little worn in that way that liquor stores can sometimes be (Discount Liquor in Milwaukee, I'm looking at you) that makes it feel like a true mom and pop kinda shop. All in all, they had a nice selection at a decent price. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area. Get to it!

Eat, pay, leave. I got a plate with smoked pork, which was outstanding, sort of if ham had a love child with a pork chop. My kids got chicken tacos, which were STUFFED with meat. The teenager couldn't actually eat three. In general, their prices seem high, but you get a ton of food for it. It isn't hugely bursting with flavor, even though the clientele seemed mostly Latinx. I used hot sauce liberally. That was actually great for kids. Service was super attentive from the one dude doing it all, and the beer was nice and cold. Overall, I'd hit it again when in the Dells.

The girl asked if it was her birthday, I said "well more like a get well soon gift", and she wrapped it up with a pink bow, I never told her she has breast cancer. When she walked over to me, I kind of started tearing up so I wiped my eye, and she gave me the biggest hug. It was one of those hugs you give your best friend after learning some bad news. I don't remember her name, but I will never forget this

I fact, if you are like me, and you really like a good Root Beer, it's worth stopping in. I've been to it's sister store in Galena, IL and I have to say it's much better than this one. Not a whole hell of a lot of brands to chose from, but I did find a few unique ones and bought some bottles to take home. I will warn you... it's pretty pricy (especially since you can get many of the brands at a grocery store for a lot less!). There is a museum tour you can take for $5. It was too late in the day, but I might have splurged if I had gotten there earlier. What the heck... I've spent $5 stupider! Might have been interesting? Besides the "mix and match" bottles of soda, they have some cold ones too. They also had 4 root beers on "tap" for pours glasses and I think they also have floats. If you like this type of thing, or just thirsty for a cold root beer, it's worth stopping in. Otherwise skip it and get to your water park a little quicker!
